When wil u sell?
I'm putting my ears on the news. Not selling until Dangote or other Naija made refineries start selling petrol. Dangote will soon start selling Jet fuel and Diesel but that's not enough. I don't see Naira doing well until the we stop changing Naira to dollars to buy petrol.

And I sincerely hope Naira starts doing well. I'm not happy making this gain because in the real sense, it is not a gain

Last week I created a thread talking about how my japa plans have been crushed due to the increase in dollar.

Many adviced me to invest in dollar, this was the advice they gave me months ago but I did follow through because I wasn't sure.
My last thread hit front page and 90% of the comments were advising me to invest in dollars, one even quoted that in the past 10 years, the dollar haven't fallen but it increases every year.

One even called me a weak minded person and I am scared to take risks.
After everything I thought to myself, since so many people felt this dollar will keep on rising, maybe I should invest afterall life is all about risks.

Well guess what, dollar have decreased, I invested 3M in buying dollars and now in today exchange rate. I have 2.6M now and I either cash out now or hope it will increase.

Right now, I am very angry.
Those giving me advice should come and contribute the 400k for me o

Another thing, do you think the dollar will increase or should I just cut my loses.
I am so tired 😫
I remember telling you not to sell your crypto yet. See the current price of Naira as of today

The backlog holds water, that's why the naira has been strengthening against the dollar since last week. A lot of people like you never believe it will fall this badly.

1 usdt is currently 992.

Dangote refinery is not the only refinery that will be working next year.

I don't see naira getting to 1200 again this year. And the naira is not going to fall yakata
How far bro. Today price don reach 1320 o

RomanceRe: Dealing With The Mr. Nice Guy Attitude by saasala(m): 11:28pm On Jan 09, 2024
Another thread for the highly misogynistic guys on Nairaland to masturbate on. Watch them come here and spew their hatred on the women again, meanwhile, instead of saying thrash they should read between the lines and learn.

As much as ladies want a cool and good guy, they don't want someone who is easily swayed. There needs to be a balance. If you treat ladies as sh1t, they will run from you, and if you are easily manipulated, they will run. This is where balancing everything comes.

Be nice, but not too nice. Be bad, nut not too bad. Create a balance.

As a man, I can't even deal with a fellow man who can't think for himself, who is easily swayed or manipulated. I cannot deal with a fool. Be caring, loving and all that but you also need to stand your ground and show that you are the man in the relationship/marriage.

I can't even be with a lady who agrees with everything I say, who can't come up with constructive argument and criticism. It goes both ways.

RomanceRe: Romance Section Moderators Wanted by saasala(m): 12:44pm On Jan 08, 2024
Seun:
Ladies and gentlemen, the Romance section has gone to the dogs because of the inactivity of the current moderators.

We need 2 new moderators who are passionate about Romance and Nairaland, and can dedicate sufficient time to remove inappropriate content, ban people who break the rules, and create threads on hot topics to ensure that the Romance section attracts more engagement.

Most importantly, the war between men and women on this section must end. Women need to feel safe to participate and share their views in this section without being harassed by men. And vice versa. This requires consistent and unyielding enforcement of the rules every day.

If you know someone who is fit for this role, please nominate them. Someone who has been consistently active in this section for a long time, and who has not been a habitual rule-breaker during this time. If you're nominated, please indicate your acceptance and let's talk.

PS: Sorry, you can't nominate yourself. Someone must nominate you and then you can accept the nomination if you're interested. wink
Good development

Look into that misogyny thing very well.

Small boys are fond of talking down on women like they dont have sisters and mothers at home.

Well I don't see anything wrong with stating the tribe of a person who did wrong, the only issue is insulting and demeaning a whole tribe because of an individual's offence, so pls be specific.

Also, we are yet to see your stance on Anti female, insultive, degrading comments and threads, because if you notice, most male tend to term women generally for the offence of one, and as a result of that, most of us rarely comment like before, pls look into it.
I am a man and you see that misogyny thingy is killing this forum. Most of these guys are small children whose age are below 27 with no real life experience. They come here to talk thrash about women and say all manners of derogatory things and you begin to ask if they have mothers and sisters.

Seun really need to look into this. I might quit this forum because of it.

FamilyRe: My Girl's Crazy Cravings by saasala(m): 12:27am On Jan 05, 2024
Reminderz:
I think this generation ladies have exaggerated the issue of "cravings" when it comes to pregnancy... it now seems like they are the first set of women to get pregnant... the men are now even the promoters of these stupid trends all in the name of stupid love... these low IQ lots using "pregnancy" as a means to ask for crazy stuff and do stupid things... if she asks for stupid stuff at 1am, she will be the one to get it herself... nonsense... women have been getting pregnant and giving birth since centuries, I don't even know what started this shit... and I guess social media is also one of the factors leading to the continuation of this "trend".

these generation females is nothing to write home about...
Spot on!

When my wife was pregnant, she had a few cravings and I know they were sincere ones. She saw roasted guinea fowl online and begged me to order for her. The order didnt come until the following day and she didn't make a fuss. Another was moi moi around 7pm at night and she said I shouldnt worry if I couldnt get it.

These daughters of jezebel we have now are crazy!

You still do not understand the politics of protection. You mention a guard protecting the king but I am only letting you know the protection of a king goes beyond a guard with a gun or sword.
Before I continue with you, let me ask: How old are you? Are you married?

In real life a guard plotted the coup to over throw the president of Niger. The president is still prison locked up by his own guard. I don give you real life example...lol
It has nothing to do with a woman. The president should have hired his wife then.

Whatever happened in Niger is just life. Life is cruel and anyone can stab you at the back. There are about 200 countries in the world with presidents and their guards and security have not betrayed them. Niger is just one country out of many so you have no point here.

in real life if ur wife no protect u , through prayers, support or any form ur a dead man. We men naturally leave carelessly a good wife pays attention to details.
You are going out of topic. We are talking about finances here.

Firstly I dont believe in prayers, so thats bullshit. But if you believe in it, fine. She can support you with prayers and any other forms of support, its all good as long has she is not the one paying the bills.
