FamilyRe: Does A Woman Earning More Than The Husband Affect The Marriage? by saasala(m): 1:49pm On Jan 02, 2024
The major reason the marriage of our parents lasted till eternity is because our fathers were the sole or major breadwinners of the family.

The reason marriages nowadays crash easily is because women now bring something tangible to the table. This is the major reasons marriages in Western countries don't last because women now have a say.

I just laugh when I see Nairaland guys saying "Nigerian women don't bring anything to the table" Like can you handle them when they start bringing something to the table?

I will rather not want my wife to bring anything to the table or bring something very small to the table. I only need her to be a good wife, take care of the home, the kids and be submissive. That's all a woman needs to do.

Nature has not designed a woman to be a leader. The moment they earn more than you, then they become the leader which is abnormal, and since they are not wired to lead, they will crumble the ship and scatter the building.

As much as people get divorced in Nigeria, we are still among the least divorced countries in the world but the numbers are climbing up because a lot of men are asking "What is she bringing to the table?"

I understand that the economy isn't helping matters and the make up of the 21st century generally has made it possible for both men and women to work and anyone can earn more than the other, and this is a pandemic.

Women are designed to worship their men, respect them, take care of the home and the kids.

As a man, you are a king and your wife is the Queen. Queens don't work, they only look beautiful for the king to admire and they don't have any say in the house. And they dare not question the king for having concubines or taking more wives.

Men, work hard, work very hard so you can take care of your home and stop waiting for your wife to bring something to the table. You can't handle that table.

My wife is just here enjoying herself. She is respectful and takes care of the home and when she catches me cheating, she can only cry. I will pet her and beg her and go back to my cheating. And the day she cheats, she is going back to her father's house while I take another wife.

You don't have any problems. I had it at your age. The only thing I did was to excersise. I did only push ups to build my chest and that was it. Your chest having good muscles and pumping up will cover up the gynecomastia. I now open my bare chest anywhere. I will be going to the beach soon seff, running up and down with friends with my bare chest.

I think I now fully understand your point of view. You have frolicked a lot with loose women because this is your circle and thus, this is the only life you know.

My own circle is unfortunately (different from yours) more civil and less wild.

Most of my circle and people I relate with are not the wild, undisciplined, untrained or loose individuals.

Since we can only speak of what as a norm exists around us,
It would then be safe to say that you are not truely different from these adulterous women as this is your normal expectation : Is this view of mine correct?
I laugh at you in Swahili....

Talking about circles? I wouldn't want to talk much.

Brother, I probably have bigger circle than you, and I have them in different forms. I have circles just like yours; the ones you call trained and civil, and I have the ones you call untrained and loose, and these 'untrained' circle are some of the most wonderful people you will ever come across.

Me, unlike you, don't limit my experiences, my circles, and my reach. I like to explore. I mingle with people from all walks of life and I relate with everyone perfectly. This is why I have a better experience because I can see life from different angles. I am not redundant or stagnant. I am 100% flexible.

Come out of your shell man, dine and wine with the devil and angel and learn from all angles of life. This is important for your personal, financial and even marital life. You can always dodge a bullet before it is shot at you. Nuff said.
RomanceRe: My Virgin Wife And DNA Saga by saasala(m):
TenQ:
The key is the power of values.

Most ladies who are married as virgins have some certain values that had kept them while they were between 16 years old to 24 years of age (this is when most girls lose their virginity).

What are their reasons?
1. Spiritual (they don't want to sin against their God).
Why would they now choose to sin against God when they are married?
2. Cultural (this is what they grew up to know as normal around them)
I don't know any Nigerian african culture that promotes promiscuity for married women: do you?
3. Personal resolve (a choice they made by themselves as a way of life)
What would make them change suddenly to the opposite?

Statistically, married women do not crave more sex than single women.
If truly you are married, you should know that a married woman's libido is on the average low. Why would they suddenly think that promiscuity would solve the problem.

Now even about you as a man: after you got married, did you suddenly lose control of your sexuality? Are you now more promiscuous than before marriage?
Why do you now expect that a virgin wife would be promiscuous after marriage?

If any married woman would be promiscuous after marriage, it is a woman who was married as a non-virgin!

Why?
1. She may discover that your gbola is the smallest amongst all the guys she has handled and thus crave for her best experience
2. You may be a two-three minute man and most of her exes can go for 45minuites straight while giving her multiple orgasms. Shouldn't she crave for this experience again while h you can't give?
3. You may be awkward in bed compared to some of her exes that she misses them instead of the boring you.

A virgin has only you as a reference for everything sexual, therefore she is most likely to accept you as you are. Except she is a witchand it is a ritual where her virginity is only to trap forever the guy she'd married, it usually never happens that a virgin wife would go outside marriage for sex.
See you analyzing a woman like mathematics. If 1+1 = 2, then 2+2 should be = 4. Sadly, they are different from mathematics.

Women cheat for several reasons, and some of the reasons are not even in your list.

And the truth remains that there are women who married as a virgin and still cheat. So why did they do it?

The same way men claim they like varieties, so do some women. Some women also get bored of the same thing and as humans, we love to explore and seek new experiences.

Okay, I have a friend who slept with a married woman whose hubby disvirgined her. And she practically 'toasted' my friend. Her reason: "She felt left behind. She needed to taste another dick. She wanted to explore and see how another man tastes"

Virgins these days have high level of fantasies than the non virgins. They consume more porn than the non virgins and engage in other sexual acts aside penetration. These fantasies, they want to fulfil. It is only a matter of time before some of them (The ones who have olosho tendencies) go out and explore. Abu you don't know that some virgins have olosho tendencies?

I am not a kid in the game of women. I have deflowered three women, slept with four married women (Something I am not proud of and won't do again) and have two friends who have slept with married women who married as virgins.

Most of the ladies who stayed chaste from 16 to 24 as you claimed did so under some obligation, oath, churchy sh1t or whatever thing they believe in and not because they have some real values.

While I was in my early twenties, I was in the choir and was dating my pastor's 19 year old daughter who was a virgin. The only reason she stayed a virgin is because her Dad's biggest wish was to give his daughters hand in marriage as virgins, for his own pride and ego. But this girl will suck my d1ck, I will robb her cl1ts till she gets madly wets, gave me her bobbi to sock and all....And guess what, she still married as a virgin. But I know her too well, she was exposed to a lot of rubbish already and will likely cheat on her hubby to fulfil these fantasies.

There are a lot of ladies like this who are staying till wedding night to have sex just because of the pride, and so they can go around and say "I got married as a virgin" Make their parents proud and all that.....And after wedding, all hell can be let lose.

Bro, my body count is astronomically high, something I am not proud of tho, but thought me a lot of things about women, sex and life generally. I am most likely more experienced than you, so you listen to me. I have fvcked different kinds of women, from different age group, ethnicity, tribe, nationality and all. Married, single, engaged, name it, except olosho. I detest olosho. I have fvcked a woman a day to her wedding cos she needed to do send off for me. Three days after her wedding we continued

Life is not mathematics bro. No dey calculate am like that again.

So again, let me reiterate: Marrying a virgin lady does not guarantee fidelity. Don't lose guard because you married a virgin. They can fvck your wife 6 months after your wedding.

@TenQ
You married you wife as a virgin.
She is at least 22 years old and she kept herself.

You now think that within ONE year, she would suddenly turn rogue!?
See this one.

Studies have shown that when women keep themselves as virgin until marriage, after being deflowered they start to long for other d1cks to make up for the years they have been chaste while their friends are riding several priks. They suddenly have this urge to explore and see life from different angles.

Your virgins wife who might have olosho tendencies might only be keeping herself till after marriage because her parent or pastor or wheoever told her its the right thing to do. After marriage, her real colour can show.

Dey play my fans.

PS: My claims are only valid for some virgins, not all.

How do you handle loneliness in marriage?
There's no intention of cheating, but lonely.
Like a very deep space between you and your partner, due to the fact that he has a particular lifestyle (addiction) inflicting stress on everyone in the family that you don't like, but he has refused to change.
This has removed love, intim.acy and affection in the marriage, thereby making it look so empty. Like you both can stay months without touching each other.
How do you manage such home/relationship?
Tell us the addiction gangan. Let's start from there.

So I was reading this thread that made frontpage a while ago: https://www.nairaland.com/7940243/weddings-sweet-expensive

So reading all the comments, I got angry and was wondering if every single person here on Nairaland is extremely poor with poverty mentality.

Everyone on the comment except me were saying "Na mumu dey throw wedding party"..."Just go to registry and go home"..."Don't throw a party and go hungry"

Are you all this poor?

Don't get me wrong, if you cannot afford to throw a good wedding party, please don't. Do whatever you can afford. But don't come and call everyone throwing a party mumu.

If you can afford it, please throw a big wedding, as big as your pocket can carry. Don't borrow money to do it so you won't put unnecessary pressure on yourself.

I'm saying this because I know the memories good wedding party creates in your head. You, your spouse, your family will always look back and be happy. Its like the biggest day in your life since you were born. Its a special day for you and should be fun and enjoyable.

Good weddings are a good sight to behold. The ashoebi, the delicious food, the fine hall with chilling AC, the decoration, the MC playing fine games, the DJ playing good music and probably the live band hailing you and your family members. If you have rich friends, they throw some money on your head and you look back and appreciate everyone of them.

I threw a good party, not so elaborate but a very good one. I still look at the photos and videos till today and I feel really fulfilled.

I didn't borrow one kobo to throw the party and neither me, my wife or our children have gone hungry since that day till this moment.

Most of you will do a 60k wedding and still go hungry two months after because you are always poor, big wedding or not

Is everyone here really poor?

I threw a good party and I enjoyed it. The memory will stay in my head forever. And I didnt even struggle to do it. I never borrowed a dime and never went hungry from that day till this moment. So what's all the yapping about?

Car TalkRe: What Is The Law On Overtaking Police Convoy? Was I Wrong? by saasala(m): 4:49pm On Dec 13, 2023
Kelvin30286063:
On Wednesday 6th of December, I was driving my family from Ondo to Akure to launch a new business.

We plan to start the event at 12 and it was already past 11am so I was rushing. Along Akure road, I saw this three police convoy going in front but they were not very fast.

I have a really fast car so I was like, I should overtake them and be on my way, I flashed the last pickup with about 3 policemen at the back but they didn't make any reaction and didn't gesture for me to go.

The road ahead of us was long and free, no incoming vehicles so I saw it as an opportunity.

After flashing twice again and no response, I decided to overtake all three pickup vehicles quickly so I switched to sport mode and decided to use my pedal shifter to go faster.

As soon as I revved and started overtaking them, they went crazy and started driving zig-zag on the road leaving me absolutely no room to go.

At the end they ran me into the nearly bush and parked me off. One of them decided to use their vehicles to intentionally brush my car while parking me off the road. They all came down, almost 20 of them and started shooting in the air.

They started shouting come down from this car! Hitting my car everywhere with fist and hitting my glass with the tail of their guns. Somehow my window didn't break even after they hit them 5 or 6 times. (Respect to Acura on that)

One of them pointed his gun at my vehicle and was about to shoot. I roll down my glass and started begging them.

My wife was sitting in front with me and my 2 year old daughter was sitting at the back in the hand of a friend we took along with us to act as MC for the occasion.

My wife quickly collected my daughter from the guy and held her to her chest cos she was already panicking and crying.

I think that was what saved our live cos as soon as they saw my daughter, somehow they calm down a little and started trying to drag me out of the car.

I vehemently refused to go down cos I know I will be beaten or even shot. After a few minutes of acting upset, shooting in the air, one of them that was fat and looks like their leader came down from the middle van.

That was the first time I noticed that the middle van was actually covered at the back which means they may be carrying something. They didn't use a bullion van so there was no indication that they were moving money and they didn't use siren either.

Long story short, the big guy that looked like the boss came to me and said why did I overtake them.

I explained that we were in a hurry and I flashed a few times before I attempted to overtake them and I also saw that the road was clear.

He looked at me, looked at my wife, looked at my crying daughter and looked at the guy at the back then asked me to come down that nothing will happen to me, I took my company's ID card and my guy at the back and I came down.

He checked the ID and said don't do that again. The others were shouting he must follow us to the station bla bla bla but he was calm.

Eventually they let us go.

They damaged the bumper of my vehicle in the process.

I know I was in the wrong by overtaking them without anyone gesturing that I can go but seriously, WHAT IS THE RULE TO THAT?
Especially on highway, with a wider road and not within the city.

I had to apologise to my family later cos I know it was a traumatic experience for them and I accepted my fault but I'm still confused on how I was wrong. The road was straight, long, clear of incoming vehicles and I flashed and horned.

Are we expected to follow convoy from wherever we see them to where ever they are going even if they are driving at 80km per hr?
Next time come down from the car immediately they ordered you to. Never ever restrain a police order. Its a general law worldwide. Whatever they tell you to do, do it first, you can explain later. You could have lost your life cheaply.

But my worry is why chat flirty chats with a guy and what would give him the mind to ask her to come over and .......... Please I need mature advice only
Dear brother, a lot of people dishing advise for you here are under 25 and unmarried.

Let me tell you something from the angle of a married man like you.

Your wife is cheating emotionally with this guy but not sure they have had sex yet. If she was still talking about him to you till the moment you read the chat, it means they have not started fvcking. The moment they start having sex, she stops talking about him completely.

She is very much attracted to the guy, loves his company and all, and they must have talked about having sex severally. Like real flirting, and your wife is really considering fvcking him and the guy knows, hence the effrontery to tell her "To come make babies".

So what do you do in this situation?

Para for your wife...And when I say Para, I mean real para. Tear for her like mad. Call her all sorts of names. Call her a hoe, a flirt, a heartbreaker and accuse her of already sleeping with the guy. Never ever make her think you are doubting the fact that they have slept together. Make her believe you a 100% sure they are fvcking. Then threaten her with divorce and reporting her to all her friends and family. Wy are you doing this? To make her see what her stupid actions can cause and the damage it can cause to her and the entire family. It is a strong warning to her never to engage in such ever again.

Then lastly, call that guy and warn him sternly to back off from your wife. Accuse him of sleeping with your wife and that you will deal with him mercilessly.

Last lastly, tell your wife to quit the job or the guy quits. Either of them should quit. You can allow her continue the job after begging you.

PS: Report to the management of the company if possible.

And how will you even live with the thought that your friend once fuvcked your woman, your woman once sucked your guys d1ck and all those bullsheet.

After I broke up with a babe, a friend of mine told me after a few months that he likes the girl as she's a wife material and those, and he would like to marry her. I told him, "Go and meet her but forget about me forever, and I will also make sure all our friends block you from their lives forever"

Recently I fell in love for the first time with this 23 year old. It felt great. this was the first time someone is calling me baby and having sleepless nights because of me cry(before you people begin to ask how old I am, I was born in 1992).

About three days ago we were texting on WhatsApp and I asked her how many ex she had had and her reply was "I can't remember". I was shocked 😲 I asked her if there are too many that's why she can't remember and she said "yes".

I'm concerned.for a 23 year old to have dated many men means she has multiple body counts. Will this affect me in the long run? What advice do you people have for me?

PS; I'm not a virgin
Alaye go and relax your mind. A lot of Nairalanders will call your babe a bittch but don't mind them. She was just bluffing. That's her way of telling you she was not interested in that topic. A girl with 200 body count will tell you its just one. And stop asking her about the number of exes she has. Just enjoy the love and move on.
