Lalas247: that's the issue .. they need to come up with a pill.for guys to take .. isn't it enough we have yo push a baby out.. at least it will help with family planning They are working on it, in the meantime, there are many options aside from IUD. Female condoms, spermicides, Pills, shots, patches, MouthAction, mutual masturbation, withdrawal, abstinence etc are all possible means to prevent pregnancy. Judging by many different marriages and relationships I have analysed here in Southwest Nigeria, if pregnancy occurs, the female happens to handle more of the workload even though it's not ideal. So, I advise every lady to avoid unplanned pregnancies by all these means and gradually teach their men about them. |

realborn: Not at all. Hence I cited we assume he holds the ace. The visit in my understanding is to jointly hold serious discussions relating to both countries, not necessarily solve all problems. Those people won't lift a finger until the sitting Nigerian president meets their demands. And for all we know, given the incumbent president's disposition, he could be pushing his personal or regional ambitions! |

realborn:

Summary:
1. Garba Sheu granted an interview at Washington DC.
2. Buhari's visit is symbolic.
3. Buhari is the first African President to meet Trump. No matter how Nigerian's see their own country (I assume no matter the disapproval of poor leadership), meeting Trump first before others in Africa is the bomb
4. Trump has opened doors of support unlike Obama (blame every body that can be blamed on planet earth and beyond)
5. Discussions shall hold with Trump on ending Boko Haram menace.
6. Mr Adewoye and his crew held placards in support of Buhari.
7. To Sheu the gesture shows the deep appreciation of Nigerians seemingly living abroad toward Buhari's work in Nigeria (this is the real game over).
Without mincing words, this interview obviously gives an insight to the teams supposed historic visit. In my opinion, an a la carte of ineptitude. These dudes lack every understanding of the job at hand.
An opportunity to represent Nigeria and Africa at a meeting with a strategic Partner like USA (let's pretend Trump holds the ace), should have a more strategic agenda. My expectations will be discussions on:
- Sustainable Development Goals - Abating Hunger - Global Warming - Improving Trade - Enhancing and Providing Health Care - Support for establishment of Research and Development Centers - Renewable and Clean Sources of Energy in Africa - Abating the growing menace of Communal clashes - Investment and assistance in developing Africa's emerging Technology Hub - State of Nigerians and African migrants in the USA - Abating the unending migration of Africans through unsuitable means to Europe - Assistance in identifying and returning laundered loots and proceeds of corruption by Public Officials. - Collaboration in changing and enhancing the Education outlook in Africa and upgrade to global standards - Training of the Military and Law Enforcement Agencies Etc!
Quite a long way to go! So, you expect one man(Trump) to solve all your problems, you must be dreaming! |

Well done Gianaaaaaa, you just laid out things that typically happen in our society. Everyone has his/her own issues in life. The difference is how we solve them. Let me vex small, Dara is not in a marriage, she's in deep shit. A partner who could suspect her for hurting his mom could easily believe any other thing as long as it's plausible. Whatever happened to "to have and to hold". Yoruba people will say "ti a ba n sunkun, a maa ri'ran", meaning crying does not mean we have lost our eyesight. The man has no excuse for not standing up for his wife, even when the opponent is his family. 1 Like |

remember he is a celeb..some of this ladies might just be crushing on him and want to famz him back then...so what ever he did to them...they wouldnt see it as abuse then.
why are they now bringing it up this late?..if not that higher powers are involve. someone might just be using these ladies to fight poor billy.
ps: i dont support abuse of any kind physical, emotional or sexual .....abuse na abuse. its not just about gender So, are you saying that if the victim does not see it as a crime, then its not a crime. "Poor Billy" indeed. You do not support the abuse, but you are sympathetic towards the abuser. He imprisoned their minds and souls for decades, isn't it just for him to know what it feels like to be imprisoned. What is your own definition of justice? |

If u know u know Yoruba people will say "nnkan ti eeyan ba moo je l'o maa n pa'yan" meaning, what you love to binge on, that's what will eventually kill you. He won't be a scapegoat if he isn't corrupt. |

Whyke141: Does poverty really exist in circles?
An average African is faced with the pangs of poverty, & tries absconding all through his life span but to no avail, thus passing it on to his offspring, creating the chain - the circle.
Yes! Poverty exists in circles. & Yes! Its circles are wide. How then do we find freedom from this circle? By building a barricade round our cavities or by working hard so as not be termed lazy by individuals who didn't fight the war against poverty? How exactly.
Peradventure we fail to win the battle, how do we create another route for our offsprings? Could any be created? No... This is poverty. And it enjoys expanding its circles from fathers to sons and grandsons...
Poet Karn breaks through our garment of curiosity again as he speaks on the CIRCLE OF POVERTY. You won't want to miss this Brain work. This is raw poetry with an African touch, from the nib of an African pen.
Enjoy!!! http://www.whykeanthology.com/2018/04/povertys-circle.html ••• ••• "...Poverty is just a name to us, Germinating from father to children, Children to grand children, In & out, on we go Singing the anthem..." {Exerpt From Poverty's Circle}.
Proudly Whyke. Stick to your own thread. Stop trying to steal other people's shine. 2 Likes |

oshaosha2014: It has always been like that since bible times. Generally, women are drawn to men in tops positions whether in a religious setting or otherwise. Even Jesus had his own fair share of women flocking around him all the time. Men of God have to really be careful with this unwarranted attention from women. The attention is warranted. Many males spend their adult life seeking for relevance. I'm tired of reading stories of women playing the victim. Everyone knew he was married, yet they indulged themselves.A little closeness, a little touch, a little smooching, then the stuff spirals out of control and then they say they were deceived. How were they deceived? Are they not all adults? Did they not know sex with a married man is wrong? And the men too, disgracing their wives and the marriage covenant up and down. In Christendom, we push ministers to get married before starting ministry thinking it solves the sexual problem. Yet, stories after stories have shown us that marriage does not cure promiscuity. Ministers are to deal with this issue of sex in prolonged prayers and submission to the absoluteness of the word of God before starting ministry. And also, in Christendom, we mistake zeal for God to be Ministerial calling. So many cocky, chauvinists claiming to be Men of God. I'm tired of typing joor. |
