Before you take the matter up, be informed that relaxer usage cuts across every race, even whites use it. Just reduce your relaxer use, keep to no-lye relaxers, check your cosmetics ingredients before you buy, that's all.

I was asking about why you refer patients primarily to psychiatrists and not psychotherapists. You don't have to be sorry about not accepting PMs. It's understandable.

Personally,I would refer such patients to a psychiatrist, who might work with a psychotherapist to help the patient.(Many psychiatrists are trained in psychotherapy too!)

Even better,now that we are in the era of Continuing medical education....we could do with a lot of seminars on medical ethics,especially on the right etiquette in dealing with patients.

It would save patients and their relatives a lot of heartache. Btw, do you doctors refer patients to psychotherapists?
