Politics / Re: Nigeria's Christian Varsities And Their Exorbitant Fees by SALady(f): 8:21am On Nov 29, 2010 |
@OP you make a good observation, and agreed its the makes of food for thought. Question is do the varsities have bursary schemes for the derserving and the needy, there obviously has to be a sound criteria in terms of awarding such bursaries. In case these institutions do have such bursary initiatives, then I'll have to say they are doing their bit, and the rest of the population should pay for the asking. Some of these school do get sponsors from government at least that's the case in SA. However, it must be noted that they pay for staff salaries, school/structural maitenance, keeping up with technology and not to mention getting the right curriculum at the right time. I still question a lot regarding my emboldment if I had to comapre a student from a publuc and private varsity because I am almost conviced that its not so much about the curriculum that the private institutions do differently but rather the teaching methods. It would be interesting to hear your thoughts/solutions to your own obseravation. |

gestapo: Did it occur to you that there's a possibility nobody responded because none see themselves as flies, and probably acknowledge the diabolical proportions of this thread. Now after beeing called an SA woman with HIV/AIDS in this thread I chose not to give two figs over such ignorance and decided to sift through the lines and take what I can work with. Having done that, I've had some fulfilling discussions with some people in here. So now tell me are you going to do the buzzing in here? Your choice. Now get this, before I am a SA woman with juicy nyash, I am human, an individual and an African and thats the level of interaction and identity I share with my Nigerian folk. Nothing you are going to say about an SA woman will make her feel any less or more about herself, cos that's not where her validation comes from. Now go find peace within yourself I wear and tighten mine everyday. |

Family / Re: Ladies Who Hold On To Their Father's Surname In Marriage by SALady(f): 9:48am On Nov 25, 2010 |
excoba101: I think you've been doing the same mistake that most men keep doing over and over. This thing requires you to think like somebody who wants to build an empire. Step 1 think vision, step 2 is strategy step 3 is mission, step 4 is execution. Most importantly VISION without that this ship wont float let alone sail. So for home work go work on the vision. |

Romance / Re: Ur Take On Mistake N Forgiveness, Once Bitten Or Every1 Deserve Second Chance by SALady(f): 1:09pm On Nov 24, 2010 |
@OP sometimes its best not to dig deeper and believe what you think best, just like you are doing in your message above in order to move foward. Perhaps the question you need to think hard about now is why you want to marry this girl? could it be for her virginity or for the woman in her? The ball is in your court. |
