Akseph: pls i need help on my dell inspiron N5050. I installed another operating system, after which i install the drivers. I found out that the network is not working, i have installed network drivers several time and even went online to download the netork driver from dell site but yet no solution

Hackomania: @toksade, I believe you should read the link previously posted, that will help. Use AA39754E-715219CE as the key if asked for it. Or I can recommend downloading a file called hijackthis.exe and scanning your system with it and posting the log to this forum so we could jointly analyse.

toksade: Thank you very much for your response. It's very useful. I follow the process but I could not find anything like system progressive protection. But what happened was immediately I contacted the virus I seek for all possible solution. Then I asked online and I got a key code for that virus which I used and I was able to remove the virus that the system progressive protection claimed it saw on my system. I was asked to run a prog registryfix.reg, which I did. But other thing the site asked me to do was not successful, like I should download RKILL to scan my system with and other things like that which I was not able to do because they weren't downloading. Although, when I put the key code, the system was release and I can do what the virus as deprived me of from the time I contacted it. But the issue now is that after a while I began to see this messages: ''Science_1.2: lihirycosxam.exe'' - Bad Image. Then ''I/O Erro 1816'' will follow with many of it on the screen. And any time this come up, everything wil stop working on the system. Please if u know what I can do about this kindly tell me. Thanks.

kanny1: I have a challenge wit my hp 6735s laptop on windows 7. Last month i connected an mtn fastlink modem to update my avira antivirus. D update was supposed 2 b arund 40mb bt d download kept goin up to abt 50mb so i abruptly stopped it. Used it d nxt day n it suddenly hung. Tried 2 start bt hang at 'startin windows'. Launch safe mode bt 'll hang at classpnp.sys. Tried evrytin bt still d same. I used a restore cd only 2 discover it's a linux cd after installing it. Access 2 my bios set up requests 4 password wich i cant remember. I gav d system to an engr to fix n told him to remove d linux without affectin d files i saved on d hard disk bt he says he cant c any file. Dat d linux has wiped everytin off. okay i nw asked him to reformat n let me ve d system then he told me dat d system crashes anytime he wants 2 format it. Dat d board overheats because of fan prob thereby preventin him. This neva happened b4. I dont want to loose d files i saved on d hard disk. Pls advice me

My question now is...pls will a new motherboard stop the overheating? Or I must continue to use my PC 'ONLY' unter the AC?

adewasco2k: please i still want to clarify something here....my PC (HP G62) with flickery display...you guys mention buying a new board...i so much agree with you guys, but im just wondering why is it working perfectly when connected to a monitor? i am no base in lagos but im so happy to be in lag for some days now and i will like to fix this issue before leaving...my plead now is if anybody have a screen for it with the LCD inverter...so we can troubleshoot it with it if its the problem then i buy it...so i just dont go and buy board and its not the board...i was at Ikeja and those guys just want to play a fast one on me because they found out i know much about it...planing to leave Lagos on Tuesday

Philcool: Okay, thank you very much for throwing more light on this BIOS configuration on the HDDs on different Win OS.
But, in this situation, the 500gb HDD that was previously inside and working and the other HDDs are all SATA HDDs. They passed BIOS HDD test but when formated and Win7 is being installed, it does not complete it but will end up with one unknown error even after two different OS installation CDs have been used because I was suspecting bad CD but nothing was wrong with either of the CDs. What could be tweaked or done for this HP630 to see other HDDs as the way it sees the one that came with it? Thanks again and hoping to read from all contributed solution, please.

Godtosin: Pls my computer desktop,after i installed nokia pc suite, the light turned off that time,the next time i on it like this,it didn't enter window then later it requested for booting disk then i inserted it but after the setup has load then it will suddenly display setup can not find hardisk......i've tried several times but all is the same,i tried and used another hardisk because i thought maybe it could be harddisk damage but the same message was displayed.... Pls help me!

KingMEXX: pls @ all. My bro's Pc which is Hp all of a sudden stopped showing anything on the screen. When you plug it to a power source, it still doesnt show anything. Even when i switched it on, the power on button was only beaming the usual light buh d screen wont light up. Philcool: Hello, plz I exchanged my HP630 500GB sata HHD with a SONY sata HDD but the HP laptop always fail on fresh OS (Win7) installation with it while SONY laptop works the HDD from the HP630 and booted to Win7 when turned on. Three other HDD have been tried but still thesame. How do I make it work with other HDD please.
