So unfortunate every discussion on nairaland now must have religious or tribal coloration. Don't be surprised the tribal warlords here can hardly boast of three square meals, yet all they care to discuss is which tribe is better.
Honestly, this is a very sad thing about Nairaland. I came into the thread to read success stories or the start of success and I met ethnic supremacists instead throwing jibes. I won't be surprised if some of these guys have no life outside Nairaland.

You are not calling out govt when you criminally defame and cyberbully others. You are actually breaking the law and it's the job of govt to enforce the laws. If you do it and get away today, tomorrow you will be the victim of another cyberbully and criminal defamer.

Critics are intelligent people courted even by govt because they use facts to influence public opinion. You can't move any needle by committing crimes online.
At the bolded, criticism no matter how constructive is not welcome in an AUTHORITARIAN STATE. If you doubt that, try criticising the government in any authoritarian state. I don't know how you came to the generous assumption that governments are always made up reasonable and selfless people.

You sound more like an APC shill at this point. He's a legislator, not a governor. A legislator that isn't loyal to his party's de facto leader/presidential candidate is no good. He can't be so good that there are no alternatives in the entire legislative constituency.

Maybe after a long long time with questionable speeds in most places. Maybe watch MKBHD's video on the topic & you'd understand the issue.

If you're buying phones now, buy phones with 5G network or wait till your brand releases a 5G phone
A good LTE/4G network is more than sufficient for most mobile tasks. Even western countries are complaining about 5G not being very useful and stable enough due to its poor coverage and inability to penetrate obstacles.

Why not just tell the airline to use Naira like Russia has done? Nigeria cannot continue to depend on the dollar, countries around the world are reducing their exposure to the dollar.

Buhari mess up Nigeria
Use naira to do what exactly, bros? Can you use naira outside of Nigeria?
The people using Russian rouble are giving dollars to their central bank & buying the rouble to trade maybe crude or natural gas & other stuff. Russia still sells dollars for companies that want to exit, although it's limited. Nigeria is not even under Western sanctions. The US dollar is the global intermediary currency & companies expect to repatriate their profits.

Lolzzz.. So the govt wasn't just owing foreign govts and organizations but went as far as borrowing forex from airlines and owing them??
They didn't borrow. Foreign airlines collect payment in Naira then they take it to the CBN and then get dollars which they can repatriate. The problem is that CBN is managing dollars and can no longer fulfil that obligation unhindered. So they have money in naira which is useless to them.

Samsung's current OLED technology for TVs, QD-OLED, is currently considered the best. It's what Sony's using in their high-end OLED TVs for now. Samsung prioritises QLED over OLED probably because LG basically had a monopoly over OLED for TV in the best.

She actually has a point with the escrow thing. In as much as escrow is advisable, you can't 100% trust escrow.

You were the lady that had an issue with one "trusted" trader here right?

He could have passed as an escrow for someone at a time.

The guys mentioned as escrows are verified and trusted (I know cos I use one of them), but even at that, I still see any transaction with a stranger online, be it with escrow or not as "risk".

It's just knowing which risk you prefer to go for.
There's nothing that's without risk in life. Even deals between family members go wrong and they're not strangers. Governments can even default on their obligations. The question is would you rather risk it with someone who's been fairly reliable or try direct trades with people on a thread with weekly incidence of scams?
Mind you, I know the company she's representing and I know they're fairly reliable. But this thread has peculiarities that one should always consider to avoid encouraging risking money blindly.

This thread is full of

use ESCROW
use ESCROW
Use ESCROW

The questions now are:

1. Do you know the so-called "angels" you are using for ESCROW to their houses, offices, families, etc.?
2. Are they officially registered and known for ESCROW in Nigeria?
3. In case the transaction you use them as ESCROW becomes police, efcc, etc. matter, are they willingly ready to put mouth?

As someone earlier said here, it is not a must a seller or buyer agrees to use any of the "angels" recommended for ESCROW here in as much there is or are better ways of securely completing transactions.
I understand you're trying to promote your own system here. But those escrows have prevented hundreds of potential frauds here, and I won't blame anyone that's not comfortable testing the waters with their money. So many people lose money here weekly trying to trusting strangers with their money.
Whether you call them "angels" or not, some of them have VERY, VERY reputable businesses from years of consistency, and that's the strength of trust many of us here draw from to entrust our money with them.
You can include strong evidence for your own business reliability & hope new people are also willing to do it your way.

dangote has being having access to cheap and affordable foreign exchange straight from the CBN and Federal government combine.

you can not go to the bank and ask for loans to boost your business

give such support to any industrialist especially from the eastern part of nigeria will still achieve thesame or better result.

i want to use this medium to beg the CBN to give such assistance to every industrialist including farmars
The government, especially CBN has been giving billions in loans to farmers and they've been having issues with getting people to pay back. Some people reportedly used the money to even import instead of farming.
The CBN still provided forex for some crucial industries, although it's probably become more difficult with the current situation.

I think one thing you failed to do as a manager was not asking if she has a problem or something disturbing keeping her back everyday. You said she really needed the job yet she came late everyday, that should tell you something is not right. Sometimes we need to know what our staff are going through as an employers, except they aren't ready to discuss their personal issues.
If you take a job it's presumed that you are ready to do it. No business owner wants to continually compromise because of personnel excuses.
