Dammy10:Dammy10, you have no business vlogging. How can you voice over a life performance and deviate totally from it? What is this? |
checkmatez:NETWORK MASTS EMIT RADIATION, ALBEIT IN SMALL AMOUNTS. PROLONGED EXPOSURE IS THE CONCERN. YOU COULD HAVE READ THIS BEFORE JUMPING ON THE DISCOURSE LIKE A MARKET WOMAN. The greater concern among the public over proximity of masts rather than the use of handsets, even by children, is understandable. The apparent unrestrained proliferation of masts and antennas, in some cases with minimal public consultation, has led to suspicion and organised protest, particularly where these facilities have been sited, or have been planned to be sited, near schools, childcare centres, and the like. Masts often represent a visual obtrusion, and the sheer number of antennas on a mast shared by several carriers encourages the casual observer to assume that the EMFs can be focussed or at least enhanced in particular locations. Although the levels, when measured, are indeed very low (up to a few thousandths of the permitted levels), the continuous and whole‐body nature of the exposure gives the concern some justification).Anyways, you're welcome: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2065971/ |
NoToPile:Here's where the greed is; a telco company was leased a part of the land for 10 years, and the landlord has received a 10-year lease payment. First is the danger of continued exposure to radiation being emitted from the base station but that isn't the issue to the landlord. He agrees to the deal to sell that tiny part to the telco company for cool millions of Naira and then realise he can no longer stay there, possibly because he has been advised of the dangers. He could have outrightly sold to the telco but they might not want the entire land and it is an unwise business move. This particular land is dangerous to health as it is but the landlord and our esteemed omo onile must maximise profit. So they decide to sell the land but exclude the part they leased out for 10 years so that they can return in the not too distant future to cash out again while the new land owner is well marinated with radiation emitted from the base station. Since the landlord still has a stake in the listed land, it won't be long before his many children rise up to lay a claim to the land after his demise and pursue the case legally, but that isn't the point. The land is listed for sale, and the landlord has received payment for the leased part. He should outrightly sell to whoever is interested, so that the person can decide to terminate the telco contract after ten years owing to prolonged exposure or choose to get paid at his or her own detriment. You can't eat your cake and have it. The land has been made unfit to live on because of the mast. |
Ademat7:'Thrown' indeed. Privileged ọmọ onile with an Internet enabled smartphone. |
Ademat7:You+the original owners of the land+the family are thieves, nothing more. The owners already received 10 years payment but decided to sell the other parts of the land along with the dilapidated structure ![]() I understand land is pricey in Lagos but selling that property is building from the ground afresh. The mast area is a part of the land. And that it is closest to residential buildings is worse! The landlord must be one greedy human and you, supposedly marketing the place is doing a bad job. Any reasonable human being who values his or her life and living conditions won't sit in the same compound with a telco mast. Convert the vacant areas on the land to a farm. How can you receive a 10-year payment from a telco and then sell the land, leaving out where the mast is? Who gets exposed periodically to radiation? Who comes down with cancer in the end? Who receives payment from telcos? Again, you, + the landlord and whoever thought to sell the land after leasing a part for mast use are bunch of criminals and horrible people. |

dominique:You see the emboldened, ehn... It is strange to see how many women have been jittery and throwing tantrums on Twitter since yesterday. The latter part of your comment is pure gold! A sensible man shouldn't even bring it up for discussion. I just don't understand why it is a big deal when men decide to check their child's true paternity, particularly in a country where paternal is 30%, the second-highest in the world, after Jamaica. |
gmacnoms: What is a Fake TV?: A phony or a fake TV is characterized as a clone duplicate that has been marketed as the original. A fake is guilty of unscrupulousness, distortion, and illegality. It is increasingly hard to recognize a fake phone in the event that you are not used to the original.https://fulfilledinterest.com/tech/identify-an-original-or-fake-tv/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HhBgonepaG8 I am glad you have sold them but saying there no cloned television sets is strange, laughable and surprising. Are there electronic gadgets less than N200k in today's world that aren't cloned? What China does mostly with other brands is called 'trade mark squatting'. Hisense, Bruhm, etc, are unique brands already. Just like LG, China low product manufacturers also churn out fakes/clones of Samsung TVs and distribute them for sale, marketing them under the original brand name. No one is saying they both cannot be in competition but I am taking you on based on your claim that fakes/replicas/cloned LG TV sets CAN COMPETE with the original product. Let's just have the fear of God. |
gmacnoms:Ad Hominem, eh? Classical. I don't intend to shyte on your hustle but dishing out half-truths is just the same as telling lies. How can you claim a CLONE CAN COMPETE WITH THE ORIGINAL? ![]() The point is, the clones are cheap everywhere. Calling them replicas or clones is being subtle. LG itself, refer to them as FAKES. There are reasons they are cheaper than the originals, it isn't because their manufacturers intend to make people use LG at all costs. They are stripped of quality in every area. Materials used in their productions are nowhere near the originals, so what edge do they have to compete with the originals? |
NoToPile:Not necessarily true, the emboldened. Fouani has a store on Jumia and they sell there just like most official stores. The sin is in neglecting Fouani and then running to 'Chidex Ventures' to buy a clone and then claim it is original just because you bought it on Jumia. |
GboyegaD:I don't intend to goof here and I apologise if at all I do but I doubt you have ever dealt with a woman owing to trust. The moment you let it out is the day things begin to fall apart, EVEN IF SHE IS INDEED CHEATED OR HAD CHEATED IN THE PAST. Everything will come pouring after that. I wouldn't even counsel my most hated enemy to inform the wife of a paternity DNA test. The allegation is grave, albeit indirect. |
Karleb:Religious folks are something else. |
gmacnoms:I understand you are attempting to sell but half-truth is a lie and you need not economize the truth. That they are 'LG branded' does not make them LG devices or products. We talked about replicas recently on this very thread. Replicas or clones are not the same as originals and do not stand a chance head-to-head with the original products they were modelled after. I bought a clone of this TV ignorantly ones and didn't know until someone pointed to me. It is true that they flood the Nigerian market but saying LG clones or replicans CAN COMPETE HEAD IN WITH ORIGINAL VERSION is VERY disturbing. |
CalliDora1:Test the spirit ofo wo The lady in question claimed she has married a virgin and kept a no-sex-until-until-marriage policy but six years down the line, she was booking hotels around her area, rendezvousing with the church's keyboardist...The Zonal pastor that was caught claimed he had never cheated on his wife before while the woman swore before a council that she had never cheated before... The national music director who is a saxophonist was ready to die with his secret until he took ill and was near death before the G.O charged him to confess. The same man that the Holy Spirit isn't far from his mouth. You cannot 'test the spirit' of men and you wrongly applied the passage. Humans are erratic and capable of doing the opposite of what they swore they wouldn't do with time. These things aren't new from where I am standing. Even the scripture says the heart of man is DESPERATELY WICKED. |
GboyegaD:It is a vicious cycle. News of paternity crime do not freak me anymore because I have been hearing about it almost all my life and have witnessed it up close. Worse is the fact that it is among religious folks. Trust is the primary reason why any man will push for a DNA test and it will be unwise to stoke an already tensed environment by announcing to one's wife that you would love to subject your kids to a DNA test. It is not worth it. There are certain secrets worth taking to one's grave and one of such is a DNA test, save you understand that you are married to an extremely forgiving and forgetful woman. If it isn't the case, you might as well be ready to invite both families and explain why you did or thought about doing what you did or want to do. |
CalliDora1:I could have liked this post if I didn't experience an over-one-year adultery case, involving a devoted, fine lady who has been married for six years and the church's keyboardist. I guess they are not 'in the Lord' people, shey? (Note that this case was purely contractual; to 'assist' the poor lady by getting her pregnant). There is another case of an RCCG ZONAL PASTOR THAT WAS CAUGHT IN ONE OF THE CHALETS OF THE REDEMPTION CAMP WITH THE WIFE OF ONE OF HIS MEMBERS and they have been at it for over 4 months; going for Holy Ghost services together every first Friday. (Looking for the 'fruit' of the womb as well). Shall we talk about a whole G.O's saxophonist who must play before the G.O mounts the pulpit, the same fiery man who was caught in a web of adultery ![]() Church cases seem to be worse than secular cases based on the many I have witnessed. Cheating knows no religion or environment. Whether in the Lord or not in the Lord, there is no denying that Nigeria has the second-highest rate of paternity crime in the world, after Jamaica, with over a staggering 30%! |
GboyegaD:There is no conventional approach to it. The essence of pushing for a DNA test in the first place is as a result of suspicion. A cheating woman will get angry and throw tantrums when confronted or told to her face. In a situation whereby the man tells the wife and she knows deep down that the man isn't the father of the child, there are chances that she will result to emotional blackmail and vain threats. Blood stained garments, chewing gum, cigarette butt, licked envelope, licked stamp, semen stain, skin tissue, toothbrush, fingernail clippings, snotty tissue, hair, earwax on cotton bud, used band aid, etc are samples needed for paternity test. One can get one or more without having to tell the wife. Anyways, I have seen too many upclose dramas just around November-December of 2020 to suggest that men owe themselves DNA tests of their kids to avoid stories. |
CSTRR:Don't even pay at all when you get there. |
N133,000 - N150,000 It is cheaper than raising someone else's kids and convenient knowing the kids under your roof are yours. |
Beautiful family! ...but five years with three kids is... What do I know? |

Acidosis:C'mon, man. Fingers aren't equal. Some take these loans to bail or cushion the effect of whatever it is they are going through, not because they do not intend to pay back. The desperation behind getting a temporal financial relief is what pushes many towards loan sharks, not minding the consequences. After agreeing to the terms and conditions of the loan, you all come back crying online to castigate the same loan app that choose to help you in your desperate hour. Not sure this is their problem. You can't build a good business relationship if you defame or libel defaulters every minute. I got this same SMS concerning a respected religious family man recently. I believe he needed the relief but they aired him in the worst way possible. Imagine condemning sokoloan for debiting your account without noticeIt's called a lien and I believe liens are normal in every part of the world. If you borrow from a financial institution, you will most likely have a lien placed on your account. It is not a big deal and truth be told, the comments so far are not complaining of liens but how they are humiliated in the worst ways possible. [s] You used your hand to submit your contact, yet come back crying and asking why sokoloan called your contacts. Some of you are just m.ad.[/s] Btw, 99% of Nigerians are not credit worthy. You all are the same people that fail to pay back interest-free loans given to you by friends, neighbors and relatives. This one dey. It is a human thing and not necessarily a Nigerian thing. People naturally have problems paying back when they are comfortable afterward. However, it still does not warrant the libel. I hope loan sharks will use the CBR more rather than this archaic, embarrassing approach in collections. |
Juliearth:It is why they are called LOAN SHARKS. I think how they go about embarrassing people, for me, is the problem. Every Nigerian has a credit rating that can be checked or investigated, from mobile usage to bank 'weight' but these guys won't. To draw in customers, they would rather just give out loans to anyone and then move to start harassing them. Those guys who do are their collection guys and they probably realized threats work better. ![]() Patronizing loan sharks is a disaster. |
dominique:Not sure the account here is compromised. From the screenshots OP shared, she must have received a loan from BRANCH INTERNATIONAL and they had a lien over her account. Why the money was withdrawn in tranches is what I don't understand. |
To those who delight in alcohol, dialysis is expensive, considering the fact that it is something that must be done periodically. Eat right, pity your livers and kidneys. It isn't worth it. Rest on, BIGLO. |
