Godmademan:The places he took photos of are actually old towns, except New GRA. |
aimuan:They're very good, and clean too. The quality of roads and scenery in PH is amazing. |
Jewessgratitude:I'm a bit puzzled. How can someone as intelligent (here I'm assuming you're probably emotionally intelligent) as you be yet so attached to a married ex? I expect you should have found a way to expunge that feeling from off your mind. Also, do keep hoping on God. He'll sooner or later present you to your partner I'm sure. |
So long as there won't be cases of padding to the budget, I wholeheartedly support its quick passage as unnecessary bickering and delay over its passage serves no one any good. This is what the majority have all been craving that was missing in the last tenure. God bless Nigeria. |

Nigeria public office holders will always give off the impression that doing "ordinary" things like remuneration of workers and pension payments are such difficult tasks to achieve. Come to think of it, the Governor isn't being asked to come up with solutions to intricate public matters like job creation or better health care. The money he would be paying out, he would do next to nothing to get. All he would need to do is simply direct the agency responsible for the task of payment of pensions and there! He even attempted to stir sympathy by saying he inherited a backlog of ₦10b plus in pension payments. Even if that's to sail, how has he fared in that regard since his time in office? When one considers that all these things are happening when China is already aiming for the moon and Mars, the only conclusion is that Nigeria is doomed. But I know Nigeria shall be great. |
Sterope:Notwithstanding, by now, I think some sort of information should have trickled down to the stranded to pacify their ordeal. It's frustrating being stuck on with absolutely nothing by way of information. |
IF people like Fani Kayode did their best to better the lot of this country when they had the chance, the emergence of the current government would probably not have happened. Cause and effect. They all led us down this path. All these are the consequences of their leadership, or the the lack of it. |
It's such a blessing to see your children's children. May God grant every one who sees this the same grace to see up to their fourth and fifth generation with a lot of accomplishments along the way. Amen. |
No need to panic, it won't be shut forever. I just don't like the way this government goes about things that affect tax payers without prompt notification. God help us. |
IF YOU KNOW YOU'RE YET TO EVER BOARD A FLIGHT, LIKE ME, AVOID FOOTAGE LIKE THIS ONE. OR ELSE, YOUR FIRST AND SUBSEQUENT FLIGHT EXPERIENCES WOULD BE HELL. BE WARNED!

I pray the new ministers take on the task of making Nigeria a better place and leaving their names nicely carved on the stone of time. Nigeria will be great one day. The Nigerian passport will be one of the most sought after in the world in time to come. God bless Nigeria. tuniski:I was going to ask the same thing. People have got the need to be enlightened honestly. ogashman:One month approximately isn't such a long wait. In fact, considering the interests across the country and intricate political quarters, I dare say the President put up the list pretty quickly. |
This is how to be an activist. Act! |
Turantula:You want them to show you pictures of a military manufacturing facility. ![]() |
Can someone please tell me how my referees can send their references to the submission office? |
The sealed envelope containing the application should indicate at the top left hand corner the position sought. All candidates should nominate three (3) referees who would also be required to forward references on their behalf under confidential cover to the same address. Such references should equally be received not later than 28th June, 2019. The above statement was made on a job advertisement I saw somewhere. I'm interested and want to apply for it, but I don't know how my referees would forward their own references to the address on the job ad. Please I need clarification. |
Wow. |
Kinikini:Arrogance and pride have always been at the very root of every collapsed empire. |
Hello. I'm desperately in need of information regarding the scheduling and cost of enrollment in Federal Fire Service Training School, Surulere, Lagos. I'd also like to know if accommodation during the training would be provided by the school. Thank you. |
I can relate. I participated in the just concluded elections as a serving Corps member in Plateau State and I'll have to say that the NYSC DG must, as a matter of urgency, engage the leadership of INEC on the ill treatment meted out on Corps members during and after elections. It's puzzling that Corps members would have to lead a demonstration before stipends for their efforts will be paid them. It's not funny anymore. I remember how we were almost dispersed with these canisters, if not for God that took control of the situation, simply because the EO refused to release monies accrued to us which he had right there in his office. |
Despite being impressive, these ideas will result into further degradation of the economy. To be honest, many of your propositions are unrealistic. If we're to go ahead with, even, 30% of your posted ideas the level of hardship amongst the populace will rise to unprecedented levels. You are basically suggesting we hand our country over to foreign investors. For instance, you suggested bringing in the Chinese to construct airports for us, and as a way of repaying the ensuing debt, we lease it out to them outright for a ten solid years. First, do you know what it cost to build a world standard airport like the Heathrows? Given the current revenue generated by our busiest airports, are you sure we'd be able to cover the spread in ten years? So, if we're unable to cover the spread what happens after? Again, the minimum wage you proposed is beautiful but unrealistic too. Where would you get the money to finance that kind of minimum wage in a nation of over 150million people? Do you realize that with our current national earnings anything beyond N50k as MW would send our capital expenditure to zero? Even if the economy grows by 100% in the next 10 years we still will not be able to finance any MW that exceeds N70k. Sorry. You seem to have thrown the main issues aside. Any change that doesn't deal with fundamentals will fail eventually. Our constitution is part of the fundamentals. That document should be the first port of call when effecting any meaningful change. The current one is anti-progress and serves only but a few. It is not a nationalistic constitution and as such it will make nonsense of any meaningful development we experience. We need a well thought out and patriotic legal document that will hold firm any effort we make to make progress or else, we'd simply be building castles in the sand. Secondly, we must fight corruption to the barest minimum. Every single proposition you made up there will face a massive challenge when it comes face to face with the monster called corruption. We can't make progress when 70% of funds meant for a cause will be diverted to other cause outside its original cause. I'm amazed that the average Nigerian does not appreciate the level of hurt that corruption does to this nation. What's the use of pouring out money into sector after sector when the official who's supposed to monitor and enforce policy and ensure judicious use of funds would be the one to embezzle the said funds? Who's going to monitor the monitor? We must constitutionally kill corruption if we want any progress. Until we get to that point where a public official would be afraid to even think about embezzling a kobo in office, we've really not done much, I'm sorry. Do you know how much progress we would have made if our public officers were sincere with managing our finance even with our 'meagre' earnings currently? We must take power off the exclusive list. That's the first place to start in any matter that concerns power improvements. |
stanliwise:No sir. PC keyboard. |
Let's do this one more time. Like for Atiku, Share for Buhari. |
Still haven't gotten past this stage of GTA San Andreas.

Interesting. You know, statistics like this one makes me question if we're truly 200 million people in this country. The future of this nation evidently lie in the hands of the Youths. One day we will get it right and assume our place in the scheme of things of this nation and stop being used as tools in the hands of desperate politicians.

engrchykae:Wrong assertion. Except for the capital city, Rivers State also have thriving towns like: Ahoada, Eleme, Bori, Omagwa, Igwurata, Omoku, Bonny, to mention a few. |
my imagination went wild
