Offcourse you're aware of the NL rule about have more than 1 (ONE) moniker...… or can I assume you don't ?

So, last week - after seeing post from a particular moniker that I consider as UN-REAL and FALSE - I started doing some self investigation (checking post and quotes of post). In less than 3 days, I discovered and can proof that that moniker has not less than 5 (not 1,2,3 or 4) BUT 5 other monikers.

He uses 1 to ask and another to comment, then another for verification of good work done....

MY QUESTION IS, WHAT EXACTLY DO YOU DO AS THE MODERATOR ?

But I think there is a mistake in your calculation for aggregates. You gave your cubic meters to be 18 which I think is short
Calculating the beams, slab and staircase together.

I've just discovered (based on your comments) that the 18 cubic meters is SLAB ONLY, There should be an additional 7 cubic for Beams and 1 Cubic for stairs. TOTAL IS 26M3

What about flat and contemporary roofs? We miss Skimanski, darlynx, I hope I go the moniker right and other architects that gives modern designs.

I know it will always boils down to clients' choice. The architect should also educate the client on modern designs.

that is not clay but Laterite and some part are gravel.... (visit Abeokuta to know more)

Abi I’m dreaming ni? 100mm thick or just 25mm? Regardless the size of the building I have NEVER budget anything less than 50k for DPC. (Read this part slowly)

Below is what DPC look like even in the government affordable housing scheme. You’re not allowed to manually mix concrete. I do minimum of 8 concreters for a 100sqm footprint.

Machine Operator - 1
Cement - 1
Water - 1
Granite - 1
Sand - 1
Loader/Carrier - 3
Bricklayer (leveling) - 1

Where will you get casting crew that’ll accept N1,500.

I want the two pumps to get power from their separate Electric Meters, two separate Buildings side-by-side, otherwise l will be settling quarrels.
But l want to avoid digging a second Borehole even as sharing the borehole makes the water better as it enjoys more usage. Water level in the area is high so supplying the pumps should not be a problem.

I am hoping that the Big bore Pipe can contain a second Pump and if it can, how to go about it.

THE SOLUTION IS SIMPLE:

* BUILD A RESERVOIR (like a septic tank but used for water only)

* INSTALL AUTOMATIC SWITCH TO THE SUBMERSIBLE PUMP, so it pumps water when the level water drops to HALF

* CONNECT AS MANY SURFACE PUMP TO AS MANY FLATS all getting their water from the reservoir.

Very Strange Experience With My Father. Should I Be Worried?

Hello guys.. the background behind this story is lenghty so to spare you the trouble ill jump straight to the point. My father though he has his flaws is a very religious and i dare say principled man in some aspects.n He never misses church service. Went to bible school. At one point he was even a house fellowship leader. He prays and fast often.

So on this day i was standing in the doorway to my dads room. He wanted to send me on an erand ''i think'', so he opened his wardrope to get to get the money. Immediately he opened his wardrop i saw a BAT...yes BAT hanging upside down right there in his wardrope. In shock i jumped and shouted

''daddy see bat see bat !!!''.

Guess what he did. He simply smiled and gently closed his wardrope. I have never been this confused. I saw a bat hanging upside down in his wardrop and all he did was smile and gently closed the door. I don't know what to make of it. I have already concluded, there is no way on earth this is from God. Up until this time i have never seen a bat up close in real time. The closest ive been was watch them on television. Contemplate how scared and confused i am now. I picked up an excuse and ran out of the house to go stay with my relative..its been a week since i left and im still too scared to go back.

What do you folks make of this? How can a man who prays and fast and attends bible school have a BAT in his wardrope. WTF !!

Working with 3/4 is very difficult though. I hate it. Workers and even machines hate it.

I love 3/4 down.

Instead of answering his question - you ended up creating more confusion for megacontrol

every granite stone size has its use, for heavy duty slab (factory, machine, bakery etc) use 3/4 whether any1 hates it or not is irrelevant.

for residential homes, use 3/4 down because you wld likely use it for columns also...... and for columns, 1/2 inches are more appropraite..

for filling station and related floors - na rocks ooh

Pls ignore all this amount flying up and down. Just start with what you have on ground and make sure you are on ground or have someone trustworthy when the building kickstart.
Presently building 3bedroom duplex and 2unitsbof 2bedroom flat and am yet to spend up to 20million

Remaining tiles, electrical and plumbing fittings, rails, kitchen and wardrobe cabinet, screeding and painting

Go with your pocket (LATERITE OR SHARP SHARP)

as long as you're not using clay.... if it was in a waterlogged land, I would have said sharp sand but on a solid man - laterite is better

U must build from foundation to finishing at a stretch! I had already bought the land before i saw that nonsense rule! So i just abandoned the land and got another one. PERSONALLY - I dont advice anyone to buy into an estate / property plan THAT IS NOT BUILT..... if it's built, you can buy into it, if its not at the time of approaching you 100% - run.

100% means with water, roads, commercial buildings, residential all in place - just pay and move in....

This is indeed a rough sketch and it will remain rough if not scaled and dimensioned accordingly.
Sketches ain't designs.
When you start designing a sketch (accurate dimensioning of spaces, you will know that your sketch is KPK)
Therefore: bring to us only designs and not sketches.

Land size is 50*100

The sketch looks workable - all u need is to now scale it (not difficult to do)

get a ruled paper or get a plain paper and rule horizontal and vertical lines on it using 1cm interval (get a ruler)

let 1 box represent 1m, then scale and see how well its going to be.
