It is the one. I never had it but I remember my mum bringing it home. It was a strange and scary fruit. I don't think it is native to Nigeria
You should try it, tastes good.

At least much better than Oro.

Can't remember
Wait I think we are saying the same thing o. I just remembered. Sour sharp is what my dad calls it not the shaka nonsense.

There are two types, one the size of Oro and the other, the size of a big pear. It's white inside, has seeds and taste like yougurt especially after taking out the insides and chilling it.

Good memory!

Never heard of it. That was the firat and the last time my mum purchased the fruitgrin. We didn't have to bother about it.

Have you had Soursop?
What's that? How does it look?

Lol, I remember its nasty smell. It was nightmare. It is one of those foods you just have to tolerate.
Sometimes I had mine replaced with another fruit called "shakashaka" or something like that. Sane size as the oro but this one has a prickly bark and a white, yoghurt -tasting inside. Don't know the English name though.

I hate that part, jeez! Maybe it is because I hate Oro.

Did you know they my mum came home one night with Oro. And she forced us to eat before we went sleep cry. Her excuse that we are Ibadan and we have to learn how to eat Orotongue
Mine did too. Never liked it. Lovely smell but bland taste. smiley

Do you have the answers?
Aliens. Maybe not the onion face, big eye ones we've been used to seeing on tv, but aliens madeto suit our eenvironment, with much higher intellectual makeup.

I think we are also aliens of some sort. We have been made to suit our environment, a dilute version of the original aliens.

We will only find this to be true when we've gotten to the intellectual and exploratory level where we can find out.

Pls note that a simple definition of an alien is someone or something that is foreign or did not originate from a particular place.

God is an alien to earth. Man is an alien to the moon or mars. If we start a civilization on mars, and after some million years generations after start calling us gods; it won't be out of place would it?

By the way, good job sile12

@semitunde

I hope you can now realise from the opening post that Bukola Saraki is first a Yoruba man before he is a northerner.

Whether Junaid like it or not, a Yoruba man will either emerge as senate president or speaker.
My point was really that we can have Saraki as senate president and still have a Yoruba as speaker simply because one is from the Southwest and the other is from North Central.

When northerners want to put people in post, they bring out the zone card, but when they see someone like Saraki they say he's Yoruba. They should follow the zone.

There are Hausa and Fulani people in North East/ West/ Central. When they put people in positions through such zoning, we don't complain that they are all Hausa /Fulani na abi?

Everybody get sense na im make them create ile ife.

Let me read the op sef.
Politics › Re: President Buhari Inauguration Speech by semitunde: 12:20pm On May 29, 2015
The best part for me was when he said the command center cannot be in abuja and war will be going on in Bornu state." The command will relocate to Maiduguri and remain there till the war is over" cool

Let all those fat, rich security chiefs go and stay in Maiduguri. I'm sure the security of lives there immediately improve.

Sirniyeh:
What you don't know can make you goof around. Pls stop that here. The Buhari I know very intimately will surprise you all. He indeed fled out without the knowledge of the Southern party associates.

So stop calling names when you are in the dark
We want Buhari to surprise us. Especially positively. If he thinks he doesn't need any of Tinubu's team.with him, then so be it. We just want the president to succeed and we move from the mess the out going GEJ had created.

If you think those who voted Buhari will turn against him for following his instincts in finding solutions, you're sorely mistaken.

If you think those who voted Buhari will turn against Tinubu for suggesting those to work with the president, you're sorely mistaken.

If you think those who voted Buhari will turn against him for not choosing some of Tinubu's suggested inputs, you're sorely mistaken!

You TANdroids don't ever think of the country but your will to be proven right, you have never been right. You don't like Buhari, you only love the seeming dissafection between him and Tinubu. Just as your other wild postulation, you will be proven wrong again.

Nigeria will move forward, with or without your support. I personally hope we'll do it without your inputs.

Abusing him is not even the point, we know some people curse their parents at home so they won't find it difficult to curse people that are GMBs/GEJs age online..The thing is why wishing a man ill-health all the time out of bitterness..It is really useless and unproductive.
Lol. The last sentence I wanted to add to that my post was:

"I didn't miss you point, just adding mine."

Was too lazy to type it tongue

Egbamiii! I beg your pardon semitunde, who is a Romancelander? Do you have eyes yet you can't see? Or you have ears, yet you can't hear tongue Btw, I am not pitching with anything or anyone, as a matter of fact, I abhor our leaders, past and present. The thing is anyone that can't wish his father death at home should not come here to wish GMB death..have I said that before?
No you've not dear, that's why I said you're now pitching in on political conversations.

I agree jare, no one should abuse especially a govt that hasn't started yet, when the one we staked 6yrs on, left us with a bed of thorns.

No one should abuse buhari.

May all you wish for Buhari, happen to members of your family that you hold dear, you, yes you.
Outside the fact that this man is the president-elect, he is also a husband, father and relative to others. As long as his detractors continue to wish him ill-health and death, may they also never do well in their endeavours.
GMB won the election, he won! The only remedy to the pains of his detractors and haters is a 5litre keg of Acid, drink it please and drink it undiluted.

Standd finally Pitts in with partisan politics.

All you romancelanders testing waters in politics section, hmmm. Anyway, like my Prof always said before any massive failure: "you'll either bend, or break!"

Oga KingTom I couldn't agree more with the magic wand ooo. Fair enough PHE has been reasonable in that part. TheSonofMark also attested to that.

Most parts of lagos the Madness is at its zenith. Complete dark out as though we are experiencing an apocalypse. sad

Radio stations shutting down to conserve fuel, airlines cancelling flights, cost of transportation sky rocketing per second, fights breaking out every now and then. *sniffs*

That was how my cousin was jejely standing at the bus stop, only for a very frustrated dude to walk up to him, hit him on his chest saying "Mo le pa yan!! - I can kill somebody o". Is this what fuel scarcity can cause? *sniffs some more*

I had to manage one litre of petrol to pump water last night. You needed to have seen how I tilted the generator.

#GMBNowThatYouAreThere.

We need a Miracle MAGIC

Lol @tilting the generator. I'm doing that at the moment. Dreading the time when the gen will cough and splutter to a stop.
