You must be a very good teacher to successfully teach F5 in 36 hrs and i would really like to understand how you get to achieve that considering the fact you teach humans.

For instance. . . . . . There are 5 parts in the F5 syllabus. . . . . so on the average you take 7.2 hours to cover each part of the syllabus.

Lets take the first part, Part A (Specialist cost and management accounting techniques) as a case study.

In this part we have
1) Activity based costing, 2) Lifecycle costing, 3) Target costing, 4) Backflush Accounting and 5) Throughput accounting.

That means that on the average you would take 1hr 26minutes to complete each topic.

How do you get to teach them and make understand these topics in the time frame specified when you have to teach them the principles and then solve questions to make them understand how to apply the principles?

How long does it usually take to treat a standard exam question on a particular topic with a student that is learning the topic the first time and how many questions do you need to treat to drive home the points?

Is the class a revision class for people who are familiar with the subject and have written the F5 exam before or a class for people who are just starting out

I have not gotten to the more complex parts of the syllabus.

I am interested in your methods.

Do you want to complete the syllabus in 6 weeks and have enough time for revision?
Would you like to have the class at the convenience of your home at your most preferred TIME?

somebody just rounded up F5 class today, u can imagine having 3 months of revision time
F5 syllabus in six weeks?

How many hours of lectures did you have?

Was it a revision class?

Have you written the F5 paper before?

How long have you been teaching F5 and which other papers do you teach?

I commend Dora for what she has done.

The truth is that we need her to remain in the FEC so that other dissenting voices would be able to speak up.

I think that Obasanjo's comment on Yaradua seems to have emboldened some people.

Since we are almost certain that Yaradua cannot make it . . . . . . . . . . it's time for Obasanjo's boys to take over. . . . . . .

Back to the basics, any minister could have find it difficult to represent the country well in this awkward times. Ojo Maduekwe should be left alone. Nigeria will pass through this phase, just a matter of time.
What the hell are you saying?

This foreign affairs minister practically embarrassed us on cnn and you are saying we should leave him alone? How on earth could he say that it was not unusual for him not to have spoken with the president in 2 months in the middle of a foreign policy crisis? This people are just disgracing us.

What sort of 'olodo' cabinet did Yaradua put together sef?

I thought it was only the minister of justice that was dumb now his colleague in the foreign affairs has proved that he is a greater olodo, just like their oga, Mr President.

It is true that our politicians IN GENERAL are incompetent but at least he spoke good english unlike that gorrilla called obasanjo.

Is it his fault that he has not seen yaradua?
if you verbally abuse him because the nigerian politicians are useless in general then fair enough
but if you do so because he is igbo, may thunder destroy your entire village with all of you in it.
Obasanjo is far more intelligent than Ojo Maduekwe

L&G, do you get the feeling that these guys are all fake from A to Z?
I totally agree with you except the part that suggests that everyone is fake.

I identify with some of Pastor Bakare's points but he is also guilty of some of his accusations. Does he receive tithe from his congregation? Does he know the source of income of ALL the people that attend his church? Does he organize regular meetings or conventions that people attend (the nomenclature attached notwithstanding)?

According to him, he has moved from one church to another (i can't remember how many) before he started Latter rain Assembly. He strikes me as someone who believes that any interpretation of the scriptures that is different from his own interpretation is wrong. That might explain why he had to move around until he got to a point where he would not be answerable to anyone.

I don't know what his motives are but i think we can learn from some of his assertions. We need to develop Christians that can truly study the word by themselves and not take everything sold to them hook, line and sinker without asking questions.

Becoz you think they cheated on age as such will soon run out of age in 2 to 3 years or a we talking abt anyother thing here? To exposed your ignorant i listed out some Dedicated Nigerian players who remained vibrant until the last day of their football career. The above in bold was comment from you, meaning in 2, 3 to 4 yrs this boys will be no where to be found in football becoz the are over aged. In other words saying that Nigerian senior players are performing so badly today as a result of their age. Next time if you dont want to be interpreted you mind the kinda comments you make.
[size=15pt]Now i know that you are daft!!!!

How can the possibility that most of these boys will not be found in football in some years time mean that the senior players are performing badly today as a result of their age?

Are you telling us that age is the problem of Nigerian football today?
Dont know some people can lost their sense judgement becoz of hatred.
Kanu Nwankwo is still playing foot after years of heart surgery, Okocha could jst quit national team when we didnt qualify germany. what abt Finidi, Olishe Lawal was forced out of Super Eagle if not he would still love to called up.  These are men who played football with their hearts and for their passion for football. They remian vibrant in football until the day they hanged their boots. Here we are now blaming age on the failure of Nigerian football full of players who plays for money and not passion, where we cant appoint the right person for the right job.

These young talented guys are playing their heart out for Nigeria all we can do is discredit them. I bet many you have not any single good thing for Nigeria even being at their age. They say give honour to whom is due. They are making great sacrifies for Nigeria and we should encourage them. Anyone who thinks other is nothing but a coward and a hater.

is born is not a future or past event, but a present event, David! For sure Isiah and Jesus were of no same generation, so inferencing that it was Jesus that Isiagh was talking about is ridiculous! Read the "is born" as it means that time, presently! And Jesus did not have any governance, and if you call him son, you also call him father? If you do, then know that what you said happened to him on earth also happened to father. No? Prince of peace who brought about "war and not peace?"

I wonder, too. But was he talking about Jesus, since the phrase "a child is born" killeth the effort to drape it on Jesus, a far away "after" generation.

The above proves that not eerything you find in the Gospel was from Jesus! Verses 6 thru 8 at least speak about "John", then we see other verses advancing the idea that the Maker of the World was in the world. You see the gimmick of peotry, since we dont know who the poet was?

If Jesus said he was not God by verse 29 of Mark 12, and many others, including his many prayers to the Lord, God, etc, can we say that the postulation put forward is correct as indicated above? Afterall, it is reported that no one can see Him and live. It is reported no one has ever seen Him!
The above analysis gets my vote for the dumbest comment i have read on nairaland today.

Christianity EtcRe: Woman Sues Faith Academy Over Child's Death by sharpman1(m): 1:33pm On Oct 23, 2009
I am really trying to understand some points that have been raised.

Patients die in both Government and Private hospitals everyday. Students die in federal and state universities, right inside the campus.

The issue should not be where the death took place but how.

If it is proved that the organization was negligent, then whoever is involved should face the music but if the school can prove that it showed reasonable care, then they would not be held liable.

People have died even in their parents home, due to some form of negligence or the other.

I am wondering why we are making so much noise about the name of the school when we should focus on how she died.

Just passing by so i decided to drop a line,

Pastor AIO:
Please don't.  I am curious about where you see 'severe and telling contradictions'.
Pastor AIO:
With number 4 my reservations are around the part that says 'this can be understood as spiritual salvation'.  I think salvation means different things to different people.  I think for example that for people like noetic salvation means getting into heaven.
Finding Christ is a salvation, yes.  But I don't want it to get mixed up with other people's notions of salvation, like I said there are many types of salvation.

Christ has many connotations for various people.  I try to avoid a mix up by using terminology that many others use in a very different sense from me.
I think that the highlighted words are contradictions.

Right.

Dont join discussions you cannot contribute reasonably to.
I want to note that the issue with the OP is one of the following:

1. The OP is dumb and cannot comprehend a simple sentence, OR

2. The OP is jobless and bored so she is simply creating an argument for the sake of an argument. She is not trying to have a reasonable debate or learn anything, OR

3. The OP has a point of view and is not ready to consider a contrary opinion even in the face of a superior argument, OR

4. The OP is trying to justify her present state.

This SHOULD be my last contribution to this thread, except the OP becomes reasonable.

What exactly has God placed in our hands?
Gamine, i am starting to get really amused. You are beginning to seem unteachable. Except if the problem is English language.

Lets go through my first post and then your reply,

Posted by: sharp man

1 Corinthians 9:27 - 'But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.'

This is PAUL himself warning us that it is never too late to be damned!!!! So we need to continually watch ourselves to be sure we have not left what God has placed in our hands.

There is nothing like once saved, forever saved
.

then your reply,

Posted by: Gamine

What im getting from the majority on this thread,
is that we are the ones saving ourselves.
Christ's death is of no consequence then,
We should have just kept on sacrificing goats n things

@Sharpman,

From that scripture, Paul wasnt talking about the ability to save himself,
He was talking about living life according to what Jesus preached,
i didnt find him stating anywhere that he'd be cast off from the presence of God

Now, who is remixing the scripturehuh huh

For the avoidance of doubt, i will re-post the bible passage in different versions and i will not try to explain anything. I will let you make your conclusions. Try not to create your own version, please.

NIV© No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.

NAS© but I discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified.

ISV© No, I keep on discipline my body, making it serve me so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not somehow be disqualified.

KJV But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

AKJ But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

ASV but I buffet my body, and bring it into bondage: lest by any means, after that I have preached to others, I myself should be rejected.

BBE But I give blows to my body, and keep it under control, for fear that, after having given the good news to others, I myself might not have God's approval.

DRB But I chastise my body, and bring it into subjection: lest perhaps, when I have preached to others, I myself should become a castaway.

DBY But I buffet my body, and lead it captive, lest after having preached to others I should be myself rejected.

ERV but I buffet my body, and bring it into bondage: lest by any means, after that I have preached to others, I myself should be rejected.

WBS But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest by any means when I have preached to others, I myself should be a cast-away.

WEY but I hit hard and straight at my own body and lead it off into slavery, lest possibly, after I have been a herald to others, I should myself be rejected.

WEB but I beat my body and bring it into submission, lest by any means, after I have preached to others, I myself should be rejected.

YLT but I chastise my body, and bring it into servitude, lest by any means, having preached to others -- I myself may become disapproved.

Abeg, somebody should please tell me what this passage means!!!!

That scripture is self explanatory, you do not need to try to explain it. It is written in plain and simple English and you can check other versions if in doubt.

DO NOT try to twist the scriptures to suit yourself.
