deavicky: I was invited to Jehovah witness i didn't know the routine, so it was time for communion. i was seated at the first seat on the first row, so when they brought the communion the man stood at my front for some good number of seconds so i thought i was supposed to take it so he can go to the next person. I had to take the bread. i became the only one in the church of over 1000 person's to take the communion. When i realized i was the only one who took it. to make matter worse, when they brought the wine i refuse to collect it. every eyes was on me i felt like melting. Lol... Then why did they bring or prepare it? Seems all of them felt unworthy, therefore they rejected it. Did their elders and leaders not take it too? |

lilfreezy: My most embarrassing moment happened at the Archangels parish satellite town Lagos. I attended evening mass with my Lil nephew and during communion, I was looking for the Lil man. But behold the 8 year old monster was bouncing from the alter after receiving holy communion(the copycat did the communion ritual well so they gave him). Everyone was just looking at me judgmentally, I was embarrassed but the Lil monster was laughing. The then parish priest Rev fr csllistus nwachukwu had a long talk with me after the mass. But the boy chop beating as we dey go house. Lol.... It's simple... The young boy get liver pass you |

festacman: I have a strong feeling that most of the notoriously HEARTLESS bandits, cattle rustlers and kidnappers operating in Nothern States are either escapees or 'graduates' of these wicked informal institutions. No way anyone will come out this HELL with their sanity and emotional feeling intact because the wicked operators destroy their victims' humanity with their acts of inhumanity. You are right. That was the first thought that came to me after looking into the guy's eyes. Their tortures turn them to monsters and evil beings who see nothing in causing harm and pain to other people since that's what they have known in the developing years of their lives. |

Dee60: Dear David, I truly sympathise with you on this one. But I must say that I have a better idea on how the 1 million can be used. Ignore the ladies and instead offer the money toi anyone who can help us to reach our government officials. Someone needs to shout that we need more than a declaration of a state of emergency on our roads. What does 'state of emergency' mean sef? Traffic is no longer bad but has become a terrible nightmare. How long do we want to see school children suffer like this to get to school or to get back home before we act? I thought that a state of emergency would mean that we shut down offices, schools, malls, markets etc for two good days and add a Saturday to it to fix as many roads as we can! Mobilize everyone to come out with their shovels, pour the gravels etcetera. That it rains like this is not an accident, it happens every year, and I think we should not blame the rain. What we are seeing is on our roads is unprecedented. I believe the excellencies are doing something, but I think it calls for a lot more. If we shut the offices, malls, markets for two days, we will catch up afterwards. What do we gain spending four hours to get to a place that should ordinarily not have taken more than fifteen minutes? The world is watching. We should not wait for BBC to feature this before we do something. Let us show that we can fix things. May God help us all. Go to David's instagram and twitter handle and present this. There's little chance he will see this, being nairaland... But those are the places they frequently visit may be he will reason with you. |
