RomanceRe: How I Met My Girlfriend by Shattuck(m): 3:24pm On Aug 20, 2023
kayus621:
It was during my national youth service year in Akwa Ibom State when our paths first crossed. We were both posted to ukanafun as National Youth Service Corp(NYSC) members, and little did I know that this would be the beginning of a beautiful journey.

From the moment we met, I was captivated by her warm presence. She had a way of making me feel at ease, and her infectious laughter filled the room. She had a nickname for me, "Kayo," which she said in a playful and sexy way. It quickly caught on, and soon, my fellow colleagues started calling me by that name too.

As we got to know each other, our connection deepened. We discovered shared interests, passions, and dreams. But one of our most cherished moments was when we started coming out at night to talk about our lives under the moonlight. It became our sacred time, where we could share our deepest thoughts, dreams, and fears.

We had made it a tradition to come out at night and share our lives with each other, reminiscing about our past, our secondary school experiences, and our university lives.

But one thing that always stood out for me was when she spoke about her former job as a receptionist. There was something enchanting about the way she told her stories, especially when it happened under the moonlight. It was as if the moon itself was lending an ear, illuminating her words and giving them a magical touch.

I would listen intently as she painted vivid pictures with her words, describing the challenges she faced and the interesting people she encountered. She had a way of making even the simplest of tasks sound fascinating and captivating. And as she spoke, I could feel myself being transported into her world, experiencing every moment alongside her.

It was during these nights that I truly got to know her on a deeper level, understanding the experiences that had shaped her into the person she was today.

Sometimes, we would sit in silence, just basking in each other's presence, the moonlight creating a serene ambiance around us.

But it wasn't always smooth sailing. Like any close relationship, we had our fair share of misunderstandings. However, what set us apart was our commitment to resolving those misunderstandings under the moonlight.

When disagreements arose, we would find ourselves back in our special spot, away from the distractions of the world. There, under the moonlight, we would open up to each other, expressing our thoughts and feelings with honesty and vulnerability.

We were willing to confront our differences head-on, to listen and understand each other's perspectives. Under the moonlight, we would apologize, forgive, and embrace each other's flaws. It was in those moments of vulnerability that our bond grew even stronger. We learned to appreciate the beauty of compromise and the power of understanding.

Looking back on those nights, I realize that our misunderstandings were not obstacles but opportunities for growth. They allowed us to learn more about ourselves and each other, deepening our connection in ways we never thought possible.

As the days turned into weeks and the weeks into months, our bond grew stronger. We became each other's confidants, supporting one another through the ups and downs of our service year. Whether it was navigating the challenges of our assigned tasks or finding solace in the unfamiliar surroundings, we were there for each other every step of the way.

Looking back, I realize that meeting her during my youth service year was no coincidence. It was a serendipitous moment that brought us together, shaping the course of our lives in ways we couldn't have imagined.

even in a relationship she has to open up to her partner about such condition, this even helps her filter suitors in her life, atleast those that will stay already know what to expect.
CultureRe: Ifa Council Suspends Isese Festival In Ilorin by Shattuck(m): 3:34pm On Aug 18, 2023
Lanretoye:
For national peace...the statement released by the council will make someone like me rather worship ifa than go to mosque, religion must be peaceful no matter what.all other religions apart from tradition are alien and any religion that does not respect the constitution of a state is not a true religion.
The government on its own part could as well approve a venue like the stadium for their festival like the LASG did during ambode regime for the eyo festival so as not to disenfranchise any body.
true words, never been a fan of traditional worship, but kudos must go to the ifa community for exemplifying true humanity by not resulting to violence, this is where the Islamic community always fail thinking the can bully and oppress others into submission to their ways, all these are just signs of insecurity which can mostly be found in Islam,as a Christian obviously for me I rather convert to ifa than Islam.

Ministerial appointments are mostly administrative positions. While technical knowledge is important, it is not a deal breaker. Being a good manager is "importanter."
this even makes tinubu more clueless, because those he appointed were terrible managers in their various states, obviously they lack both the intellectual and managerial knowledge.

This is an opportunity for Nigerian entrepreneurs to start local manufacturing of most of the things Nigeria imports. It is the only panacea to reverse high rate of joblessness in the economy. It is an apt response to the current situation of the economy. Check out Japan. They became the second largest economy in the world until recently by heavily devaluing their currency against the dollar. Tinubu is on the right path.
with what? Will they start local manufacturing when the price of fuel energy is so high, where is the fund or infrastructure to support that level of massive local manufacturing? Can't even differentiate who is more clueless between tinubu and his supporters.
PoliticsRe: 62% Of Nigerians See Country Moving Forward Under Tinubu - CMC Survey by Shattuck(m): 9:26am On Aug 14, 2023
Jbleenk:
The steps Tinubu is taking is what any sensible person who knows his onions would take in light of situation we find ourselves in Nigeria.

A country who spend 90% of her revenue to service debt can’t continue servicing electricity, fuel, fx etc else it will implode.
but can continue servicing corruption, giving the Senate billions to loot, budget padding, compensating loyalists with 47 ministries and ministers, govt officials having an unreasonable amount of aides, rewarding looters with more juicy positions, the way some of you think, I wonder who raised this kind of folks, so shameless.

I support Obidients on this. Why is it difficult for Otti the only LP governor to lay a good example, it means all their noise of new Nigeria is all fluke.

Thank God Nigeria dogged the grenade in Obi
what has otti got to do with obi, you see how he is being dragged that is the beauty of democracy, can tinubu's supporters disagree with any wrong him or the apc does?

Ttalk:
Wiping unnecessary sentiment. How did Tinubu sidelined the Igbo? Which of the state in the SE does not have a representation in the ministerial list?

PDP as a party is filled with the worst politicians.
keep lying to yourself that you don't understand what he is talking about, you have 48 ministers and 36 states that is 12 extra slot, some regions are getting extra ministers yet non for the south east, if the constitution did not mandate one from each state I'm sure non would have been selected from the south east, look at his advisers how many are from other regions, not that I support the bloated ministerial appointment or his idea of leadership.

casualobserver:
so what? There were 39 ministers in Buhari's govt, how many of them had access to him? how many of them were important? how many did you hear of, how many do you know?

You can be a minister to fulfill constitutional and political righteousness but if you are not in the loop, you are not in the loop. Do you know there are ministries that never have any money? Why is ministry of sports always looking for companies and business men to sponsor tournaments?

I am sure you dont know that there are ministers (and commissioners at state level) that have absolutely no power even within their own ministries and it is the Special adviser to the president or governor that calls the shot in that ministry. Your power and authority of a minister is at the pleasure of the president.
you go explain tire, there is no justification in a president not knowing who his ministers are, if he can't handle something so little how can he checkmate each of their activities as president, obviously there is already a cabal in his govt.

Lol 😂.

Yoruba are not like that. How many Yoruba even know if Ireti is a Yoruba or not. How many Yoruba even know about Abuja Senator?

We are people of honor who love the Yoruba homeland to the bone. Labor Party through their senseless EXCO create scenarios that purposely handicap indigenous people.

Same error they made in Eti Osa where the rep is a non indigene. That’s the disadvantage of a disorganized party.
when you talk about indigenous people how many indegenes has ruled Lagos? Was tinubu an idegene when he became governor? After him, did he handover to an indegene? How many indegenes have ruled Lagos? Ggadebo, jandor jimi agbaje these past Guber candidates are all Lagos indegenes, you guys have intentionally kept out of power in their ancestral land, yet oluomo from Kwara, tinubu from iragbiji have taken over, so much for liberalism.

I support Dr. Joe Abah.

Shebi Abuja people dey shout ELupee 74 after being deceived with Peter Obi lies of being a Christian messiah.

Labor party already took their only senatorial slot for a non indigene, now Dr. Joe said they MUST not be appointed as minister over their own ancestral land because it will set a bad precedence.

Abuja na no man’s land now.
now you are saying elupee, but what you forgot to mention is that their senatorial slot was taken by a Yoruba woman, if she were Igbo I know you would have included your tribal hate and propaganda on it too, so shameless
PoliticsRe: Rerun: We’ve Done Our Calculation Well, Tinubu Won’t Be On Ballot, LP Claims by Shattuck(m): 4:16pm On Aug 06, 2023
Tareq1105:
There's no basis for any re-run.

Tinubu APC won the election and both Obi and Atiku are deceiving themselves.

You reported to police that your item was stolen from the house. Police now asked you what exactly was stolen and you said you don't know.

Obi said his vote was stolen by Tinubu APC but he doesn't know details of what number of votes, at which polling units, which Ward, local council or State it was stolen.
your analogy is insensitive, i report to the police that items were stolen from my house by my neighbour police now ask me what were stolen I can't list all items at the moment but I listed some, my neighbors swears that he didn't take anything from my house, then we search his house I see some of my shirt, shoes, now he goes to court and claim he is innocent even when my items were found in his house, in his defends he claims I did not provide the correct total of shirts and shoes he stole, so therefore he is innocent, even though my items were found in his apartment, remember Rivers result, even the BBC confirmed that obi won rivers his results were rigged for tinubu, remember benue and others that Obi is contesting in court.
PoliticsRe: Rerun: We’ve Done Our Calculation Well, Tinubu Won’t Be On Ballot, LP Claims by Shattuck(m): 4:00pm On Aug 06, 2023

"The Obi-Datti Campaign Organisation yesterday declared that with the damning evidence before the Presidential Election Petition Court (PREPEC) in Abuja against President Bola Tinubu, he would not participate in the rerun election should the poll be annulled. Also, the Special Assistant on Public Communication to Atiku Abubakar, Mr. Phrank Shaibu, said that there is palpable fear in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) on the likelihood of the court upturning the election of President Tinubu."

Re-run presidential election in Nigeria?
Never! I believe runoff election is possible between Bola Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar, but not re-run election. Rerun means do the whole presidential election again. That is not going to happen. Runoff is what I am betting on. Runoff means the two highest votes getters in last election will run again. That will be between Bola Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar. That is what election tribunal will rule.
according to several verified sources obi won benue and rivers, even the BBC's independent compilation gave obi the lead in rivers, if those disputed results are added to obi's his numbers may become more than atiku's and even tinubu's in that case how will the run-off be between tinubu and atiku?

We heard nothing of emotional reactions towards this from the North but if it were to be some people, it'll be a target to their race, they'll use cuss words on the President and his tribes. Blablabla

They'll even promise her secretary to one Twitter President's cabinet just to show their ancestral madness and immaturity.

Bitterness, emotional immaturity and loudmouthedness.
