@legendsmother - Yes it might be confusing, seem difficult n all but I'm sure u know of the saying 'Nothing good comes easy'.. Just take it one step @ a time. Its a long tasking journey and you have to put in the effort. One thing I have come to learn about the peeps on this forum is that they reward effort.. When they see that u have put in the time to garner info/research by reading thru, you'll be amazed by the number of replies u'll get...

Forget about using any agent, for all you know that ur agent sef is getting info from this forum. This is the one-stop shop for all info & tips you'll need to birth in the us. Since u don't presently have a visa that should be your first goal... There are alot of visa interview experiences posted here, 4rm filling the application form to gathering relevant docs to the actual interview. U might not actually read everything on the forum (infact plenty skimming is required ) but read those that are relevant to u and apply them. You can start from somewhere in the middle of part2.

The naija visa on arrival is for business visitors and you'll have to get a letter from immigration in abuja.

We did it for some business partners in my office and it was full of comma and k-leg.

And if you end up with the ETC, pls make copies o! My in-law has not been able to get her daughter's naija passport in Lagos cos she doesn't have a copy of the ETC to prove that she brought Her to naija legally (the girl is 3 now). She's planning to get it in the UK since they already have UK passports.

I am not even considering the visa on arrival ish, when its not as if I don't know ow the 9ja system functions (or is it malfunctions )..
I'll now be dealing with comma and k-leg with my wife and baby after 11hours flight.... mbanu..!!
With this your example sef, I'll even make soft copy of the ETC and email it to myself.

Are u sure its ur husband that can't hold it or you..?? cos I remember a couple of days back u posted that u were patiently waiting for oga to come and 'encourage LO to come out' - lolz. So na you want am and no be oga. Oga shouldn't have too much problem. If you work on im with the other methods like olokings says, he'll be alright (at least 4 a bit). Its you that has the problem because no torchlightin or touchin of your down-under.

Anywayz, gibberish or no gibberish... You'll just have to wait until renovation work (to borrow 4rm olokings again) is complete down there. You are a dr so I don't think I have to explain the health effects to you, (lochia,infection,pain etc). You just have to explain it to him, get him a decoder for the gibberish if need be becos ur health is more important than a couple of mins of pleasure. Let him know that if you fall ill as a result of the gbenshin, he'll be the one to take care of your baby - changing diapers, singing & dancing all night long etc

I also don't think that oga sef would enjoy it if he logs in and finds out that his highway has expanded by two/three lanes or you sef begin to search for his truck/lorry on the highway....

Just coming back from the Naija embassy people @ Comfort Inn.
They are not issuing visas and even the passports they are processing will take 4-6weeks before you can collect it... - like I said, not for me.
The man also said that instead of an ETC, i can apply for the visa online and there is an option of collecting it in MMA II when I arrive in Nigeria...
That is what he said oh...., I don't know if it will work and I'm not that adventurous to try it mesef...

I don't know about lufthansa oh (I flew united) but try and get sum1 to go do it in their office in Naija; it'll be cheaper.

Update on ma story so far.
Had my precious one 29th September

Bills are as thus -

Obgyn - $2,990.00 (all inclusive as detailed earlier)
Hospital - $4,500.00
NICS (nursery pead) - $514.90 (discounted)
Epidural - they re quoting $1,500.00 buh I'm going to tackle them tmro Pronto. .. no be my head dem go open mkt. .mbah!

Got baby's birth cert ystrday 5th October.
Went for psprt and collected it same day 6th October.
Gonna mk contact for ETC.

I checked the requirements and decide to just do the passport one time since it's cost about the same amount. $170 & I was also trying to avoid that lengthy wahala passport application process..but I've done it now I.e passport application.
