@Kiwi992, Yah! I get it now, thanks for taking the time to make it clearer. While trying to break the code, can one get all the materials one needs for the 'recommended self study from the official SAP academy i.e would they sell the materials to you without you registering as a student? |
@Kiwi992. The best thing to do is simply train yourself at home in preparation for the Consultancy exams, using the training methodology that I advocate in my numerous postings on this thread. Failing that, an attendance at an official SAP Academy in India or Vietnam where the cost of training is a lot cheaper as compared with the UK. Never, ever go to any private training organisation for your SAP training. Everyone one of them is rubbish. They'll tell you all sorts of lies to take your money. Worst still, the course duration is far too short to be of any benefit to anybody. You can not learn anything about SAP R/3 in a matter of days. It's impossible. Worse still, you will not be able to do the job because your training was too short. How disgraceful is that? The only way to pass the SAP Consultancy exams (and perform in the workplace) is through a thorough and sustained training period of around nine to twelve months, using the official SAP Academy training material and IDES ECC 6.0, inorder to acquire the extremely important hands-on skills. You simply won't pass the exams unless you acquire the necessary practical experience with the SAP R/3 erp software. Take it from me. Thank you very much, I have been following your posts. I am not clear about something- You need to pass the exams before the Academy can send you to a company to acquire practical skills and then you need to acquire the practical skills to be able to pass the exams. Is this not a dilemma or did I get it wrong? Please explain because I am relay interested in the best steps to take. |
What?!!!!!!! I am beginning to regret having anything to do with this post. |
Na wa for all these yappies, only because of this post? Why is it that many Nigerian men just hate any woman that talks back and does not take all the bad they have to offer? The next thing you hear, is that the woman is frustrated, when they know absolutely nothing about the woman? The most annoying thing is that the one that is not your husband too expects you to keep quite when disrespected. My company has a big restraurant/canteen where we all have Lunch, many times my male colleagues (not in my team and are not familiar with me) need to get the jug of water , they just point to the jug of water and expects me to pass it to them as a 'well brought up African woman". I never pass the jug and do not utter a word I just continue with my meal, the next topic of discussion on the table will become how women 'do Beijin conference' and how some women will be controlling their husbands at home! Ofcourse I do not say anything, just finish up my meal and go back to my office, I work in a male dominated industry with supposedly well educated professionals, I must also say few of them are very polite but when you trace their background you can almost always find a link to the western world, either by Schooling abroad or taking up career assignments abroad I am not saying everything western is good, but if it involves treating a fellow human being better, why do we not just do likewise? |
I gathered that the new Nigerian e-passport does not allow one to insert children's names on it. I did that on my old passport but was not allowed to do it on the new one. |
I really do not know what all this denial is about. I may not know what happens in Brazil and other parts of the world, but I know what is obtainable in Nigeria. Do you know what women are presently going through in Nigeria to keep their marriages? You will not believe the society still does not believe a wife should deny her husband sex for any reason at all, and if the man should just open his mouth and mention he is being denied, everyone condemns the wife and tells her she is the one 'pushing' her man outside. I know this does not happen in all homes but when is covers a great percentage would it not be right to generalise? Who would you tell in Nigeria that since you work and contribute to the upkeep of the home that you expect your husband to help/support cook, clean up, bath the children, the next thing you would hear is that you want to take over the home and turn your husband to a houseboy because you have money. Please do not tell me this is an Islamic thing, your Church Pastor or Cell leader would probably be the first to make that statement and the sermon on submission begins! and God help you if you leave the marriage. I am yet to see a situation where a man is blamed for a failed marriage in Nigeria, everyone tells the wife she should have been a little bit more patient! |
@Poster I am equally appalled by the activities of the so called men of God but I have a feeling that your motive for starting this thread is different from what you stated. The primary business of a Christian and the basis of our religious write ups should be soul winning, do you see that happening from your posts? or from all the responses received so far? Faith cometh by hearing and it can also be destroyed by 'hearing'! |
@ANITA O I am not an HSE officer, but I work in a place where there is a whole department dedicated to HSE. There is a professional body, Nigerian institute of Safety professionals and they conduct traning and examinations. If one in the town you reside, you could pay them a visit and familiarise yourself with what they do, if you do not know. This will go a long way in showing the interviwers that you are ready to learn and face chalenges. |
How I wish I had this kind of exposure before getting to the University! I must print these posts and give to young people around me. It is what I have been trying to let them know for some time and they never listen, maybe because I did not have a first class. Now I can show them something from the 'horses's mouth'. Jascobee:This is the kind of execuse Undergraduates in Nigeria give for thier failures. I agree that settling lecturers is common now in Schools, but how can it get you a first class? If you did not know before now, many posts on this thread have shown that you need to start from your very first Semester in School to be able to make a first class. I have never been dissapointed in any Nigerian First class graduate I have ever met. The 'sorters' will just have to settle for the lower grades. |
Can't WAEC do something? Maybe you should involve them. Make some noise,do you have a journalist friend or family? It is not only about going to the US, it is accusing you of what you know nothing about. |
@dOYIN13 @topic I still think the lighting of the flame by the Archer at Barcelona is the best Opening ceremony moment I have seen. God bless you! I did not think anyone would remember that. It was breathtaking and it still remains my best, if one should use the word spectacular for an event, then that one takes it. |
You may not need a French Transit Visa if you have a green card. |
elsie2:@elsie2 Have this people sent your stuff? I will be in the U.K for just 2 more weeks, do you think I should buy from them? |
I am also waiting for Godiva, she seems to know what she is talking about.Suncreen is paramount in skin care. I am confused with the range of Clarins products, which of them is recommended for Nigerian residents? I am presenlty on holiday in the UK, I got confused after seeing all the Clarins products on display in Boots and Dubai airports. So ladies, please help out. I should also let you know that someone mentioned 'Secret oil' on another thread, I do not know much about it though but it has an SPF of 15 so you may want to try it. |
I got to speak with the guy responsible for Transit visa at the Airfrance office in Lagos. He asked me to obtain an appoitment pin from GTB to be used to get an appointment with the embassy after 24hrs. To my amazement, at the point of making the appoinment the guy told me he only had an appoinment day for the 7th(5days after my planned date), after I had consistently informed him, of my date of travel everytime I called him and he assured me of getting an apponitment for the 1st.It was at this point that he told me how people have been waiting for 4-3weeks for appointments, for Transit Visa?is Airfrance the only airline in Nigeria?. I was very upset that I wasted my time pursuing it in the first place, if he had told me all this from the beginning, I would not have bothered. I had to call my agent immediately not to issue the ticket, I was lucky he had not issued the ticket so I got on another airline as I had to travel on my planned date. I just thought it would be nice to let you know of my ordeal. If you must travel Airfrance and would need a transit visa, I suggest that you start with that first. |
All, I will be in Dubai on Transit soon, My Agent told me I could get cheap accomodation at the airport when I complained about the long wait. Is this true and how cheap is 'cheap' |
Does anyone know about Zenith renumeration? My brother ( a graduate) was just offered N75K a month to go to one remote village in the west! or is something wrong somewhere? |
Rlst84sale:thank you,I have actually sent an enquiry through their site but wanted a response from someone who has actually done it in recent past. igbonla:Thanks, I gathered that TV applicants have to physically apply at the embassy, so the Travel agent cannot do it. I will not be able to hang around Lagos for a week o! what for? na settlement Visa? Thank you for warning me. |
I just found out that my trip would be cheaper and more convenient if I went with Airfrance. I also found out I would have to visit the embassy to obtain the needed transit Visa. Does anyone know how long it takes? can I appear at the embassy and get it the same day.I do not reside in Lagos and the only way I can appear at the French embassy is when I am about to leave the country. |
ayusman16:I agree. It will only make LASMA guys richer.LASMA would tell you to quickly settle for 50K if you do not want to pay the official 250K, even a bible spitting pastor will find it difficult not to give the 50K. Since the government has been banning some particular goods in this country, did you stop seeing them in our markets? The custom guys get settled and the goods are still everywhere Laws like this do not solve our problems, they are mere 'showers of blessings' to our 'Law enforcers'! |
femigirl:Thanks so much. I will be visiting Queens district, by Farrockaway, close to JFK airport 11691 The $35 range will be just fine! |
Xiomarra:I do not agree with this, your happiness and fulfillment is not the only thing that matters in life. It is only o.k if it does not hurt any other person in the process. If you feel you are only 'fit to live alone with kids' please let your patner know before you have the kids. He/she may not be 'fit to live alone'! |
I heard it is basically GRE and lots of graphs.I am not too sure though |
I cannot believe I am seeing all these opal4real: Rhodalyn: big father:Would you all say the same thing if the husband pregnates the house girl, would you still see it as 'descending so low' and would you not accuse the woman of all sorts of things like 1. depriving the husband of sex 2. lack of care 3. being a career woman and not attending to the man 4.leaving the runing of the home to the house girl etc! Jesus said (even for those who are not christians,I am sure it would make sense) the second law after loving God with all your mind , heat and soul is 'treat your neighbour as yourself'. Why is this so difficult when it comes to man and woman matter? |
This is great. Does anyone know of such in NewYork(the US)? I plan to visit next month and my usual host may not be able to accomodate me this time! |
It beats me. Some people will just want to tear down what other people( out of their own kindness ) are building up just because of greed. Na wa o! |
@4Him 'when she was 21 she no gree us now she's crying. boohoo'. What about all the ones wey gree for you when they were 21, where dem dey now? you know? |
MallamMusa:I could not believe my eyes when I read your post, but when I saw your name I sort of understood. |
There was once a thread on this particular issue, please carry out a search to get it |
Does anyone have experience with this car? I have visited the website but would still like to get practical experience on issues like, Fuel Economy,Cost, Maintenance, Comfortability, adaptability to Nigeria roads and where to get the best deal, if I decide to buy. |
From analysis, it seems the girls simply graduated from receiving chocolates and going to movies to securing careers! Isn't one supposed to move up in life?, just pondering too ![]() |
@Bunmii Thanks, I am actualy aware of the Heathrow rules, but what of Nigeria's? Does the fact that we can take these things into the U.K mean we can legally take them out of Nigeria? |
