If I am not using the voice prompt, I always have the decency to pull over and check my positioning and how long I have to get to the next turn off. Yes it delays me somewhat, and yes, it is inconvenient, but it is a smaller inconvenience than a parent having to carry his broken child to a hospital because I don't want to spend an extra 5 minutes getting to my destination.
Sat nav works by real time.... When u stop, it stops.... It directs u as u drive.... Cars now have GPS installed on their dashboard..... They aren't stupid, manufacturers know what they are doing....
There's no proof anywhere it puts road users at risk or it increases the incidence of accidents on the road... ... If anything it helps naive drivers avoid wrong turns, thereby making roads safer....

A lot of things can happen on the road in that split second one is staring at the map on his/her phone. The proper procedure is to pull in at a rest area, a petrol station or any other safe parking spot, memorise your route including landmarks, then move. Hanging a phone on the dashboard and driving while googling is very distracting. Later when they hit someone's child; like someone hit mine; they will be begging up and down and crying false tears. Using a phone while driving is dangerous.
I know that selfishness is ruling us here but we should try our best to consider other road users' safety even if we are not concerned about ours.

One girl slept didn't wake up and was rushed to the hospital. The doctors ran tests, and did all they could (in their illiterate mind) before confirming her dead.
The mum however refused the hospital moving her daughter to the mortuary, insisting she was alive. Now when someone dies a final injection is given to the corpse before the body is moved. The mum fought tooth and nail against it's administration.
The family ordered one of their doctor sons in the USA to come back and run a final check on his sister. He took an immediate flight and arrived a few days later. Now note throughout all this the girl's body was covered on the hospital bed like a dead corpse.
Dude came in, didn't even need any fancy equipment, just checked her body and confirmed.....SHE WAS ALIVE!!!! He ordered specific tests, gave her some injections after which she regained conciousness.
The incident still scares me to this day. If not the family had him, the hospital would have killed their daughter. How many people who are in a worst financial situation have suffered a worst fate?

Even abroad, doctors are earning higher simply because of extra hours and calls they do....if you are ready to work extra hour aka overtime even as a normal pay day worker abroad, you will be earning as much as doctors, though their work rate is sometimes higher....doctors are only over-hyped in Nigeria, outside Nigeria, they are seen as normal pay check workers working per hour.
I speak because I have lots of doctor friends and I do yab them a lot to their face lol.....don't mind me, I am born with a bad mouth lol in writing only oh lol
my friend who is about to finish his residency training in the USA was offered 300 thousand dollars/year for his first job. my GP friend in uk bought 2 houses worth 400 thousand pounds each same day, after working for 2 years. even in naija, my friend who has a private hospital in Ibadan completed his 3 storey building project within a year. You obviously know very little about medical career prospect.

Whatever the case, the woman's death warrant has been postponed for a while.... The op action bought more time for the poor lady on this earth.... In have already asked you to tell me where these major components of any vehicle are manufactured in Nigeria. And if you are not manufacturing your own engines, transmission, windows, drive shafts, axles, wheels, lights, curved body panels, subframes, petrol tanks, seats, etc etc, what are you manufacturing that you get to 70%........battery? (bear in mind you said 90% but lets let that slide) I am 100% sure they do not manufacture these critical parts because you need to manufacture in hundreds of thousands and millions to justify establishing manufacturing plants for these components.
I am almost certain that alsmost no major auto manufacturer manufactures 50% of the components, it just doesnt make economic sense, so I take those figures with a grain of salt. For instance there are less than 5 or 6 companies that manufacture all the alloy wheels to nearly all the vehicle manufacturers in the world, there is a country I read about in Easter Europe i cant remmember which, one of their major exports is alloy wheels because they are a major supplier to worldwide vehicle manufacturers, there are 3 or 4 companies Bosch, denso,Delco that supply virtually all the electronic systems for all cars in the world. There are 2 or 3 companies that produce most of the gearboxes used in the world ZF being one of them. Most manufacturers do not manufacture their own seats, or tyres for instance. most airconditioners used in (0% of the worlds cars are manufactured by a handful of companies. if you find a company that can claim it manufactures more than 50% of it's components it is probably because it owns a subsidiary company like toyota owns denso and i think Gm owns Delco that also supplies other manufacturers making it viable. So when people just come talking rubbish, it shows ignorance more than anything. it's like the fashion industry (5 of all zips in this world are made by YKK and another company, the name I forget. manufacturing is a high specialised industry Innoson cannot manufacture even 20% of it's components for a mass produced car in a country like Nigeria and be profitable, even abroad it will be unprofitable at their volume level. People who do produce millions of cars every year. Most vehicle manufacturers design their cars, manufacture their chassis and then assemble components from suppliers. many dont even make their own engines. Innoson does none of these.
another reason why common sense will tell any reasonable person that innoson is not a manufacturer is because it has too many models. How many cars do they "manufacture" that they will setup a stamping die for each body part? how many body parts will the die produce to justify the expense? some things are just common sense. its like when people say Nigerin leaders have stolen 1 trillions dollars since independence...a sensible person will ask from where? how much oil have we produced that they can steal that kind of money? it all depends on whether you want to be reasonable or a jingoist.
