Nairaland General › Re: Best Gift For A Millionaire Mentor (Please Help Me) by solonubinho(m): 6:35pm On Jul 11, 2020 |
southniyikaye: Please guys, well, I am just coming out of recession infact I recently graduated from the beggers association of nairaland(B.A.N) being their president.
So please I have 10k and I want to surprise a millionaire mentor.
Though we aren't together anymore, infact it is almost 3years I left him in good accord but today, my mind just remembered him. He helped me alot in the past, he even Financed my academics in the uni and we are not even related. Lived like a king in his house for years, he made me his sole manager. He was so nice to me but I just have to leave when the ovation was high.
So what can I buy with 10k that will surprise him and likely make a Lil diff?
And let me use this medium to thank Mr bello extensively. This man called me on his own accord, he adviced me and spoke positive words into my life and he said,
"that business you talked about, how much will you need to startup? I said 25k will be enough and he said what if I see 30k? I was so happy and he said he will get back to me on the following day which is a Sunday.
You can imagine my surprise when I received an alert of 100k from him. I first thought it was a mistake and told him and he said, do whatever you can to help yourself. I am forever grateful sir from the bottom of my heart.
Pls lalasticl.ala help me move to front page for a wider coverage. It is actually good to appreciate people who has made impact in our life. Though they may lack nothing but aside our prayers for them, let us appreciate them with little things we can afford.
So I want something I can order online and they deliver to his home address in mushin Lagos thank you. Google 'gift ideas for someone who has it all' |

OP, I think you should pursue the masters abroad. That way you can make more money to build that house and many more. |

Good one, no more using Ajimobi's death for Photo Op, while sponsoring malicious content through Sowore to paint him bad, last time they allowed the deputy in, he made a video and leaked it to embarrass the widow
Makinde thinks rubbishing Ajimobi would get him second term
Ladoja allocated plot 48 Agodi GRA to himself as a Governor but never paid any Kobo on it, Governor Akala repossessed it and sold it to Aare Musulimi Alhaji Arisekola, Alhaji Arisekola sold it to Ajimobi when Arisekola was broke and before Ajimobi became Governor,as a private citizen Ajimobi developed a property on it, he even declared it as at 2011 before becoming a Governor
A night after Ajimobi died Makinde sent Police to seal up the property, and gave a publication on state TV that no Dead body shall be allowed burial inside a GRA
For almost whole week Ajimobi was denied burial, President Obasanjo called and Vice President Osinbajo pleaded, but Makinde wouldn't budge.. and after close to a week he allowed just the burial at Ajimobi's Old house at Oluyole GRA and not the new House
Weyrey won go chop Amala, gbegiri and ogunfe, and snap some oju aye pictures

About 150,000 people died today world wide....more 90% of them were positive in their confessions and never wished to died.
The words from their mouth, their thoughts, etc was to live, but they still end up dead!
Now, if 90% who were positive end up dying, and only 10% who were negative died....by every scientific measures....it means, one stands the chance of survival if they are negative.
Am not in anyway saying that, been negative somehow makes one not to suddenly pass...am only bringing in stats to let you know that, the data did not back your conclusion....they even appear to contradict them. True. But you do not have statistical fact to confidently claim that 90% of them were positive and 10% negative. Although, your argument is logical, the arbitrariness of your statistical figures ultimately defeat your argument. But I get your point sha. |

Sandrazima: There is a guy I met few months ago. He has all the qualities I want in a man. I met him him before the locked down when I travelled for a business trip to Abuja where he resides. We had a long interesting conversation and we realized we shared a lot in common and he seemed very into me.
I was sad when I had to return to Lagos because he was such a great guy. He said he occasionally travels to Lagos for meetings and business trips and that made me happy knowing that I would get to see him more.
The lockdown and ban of interstate travel distanced us for months but we exchanged calls and text messages all the time. The more I got to know him the more I fell in love with him. He told me he was attracted to me and I felt the feelings I had for him were mutual. We flirted a lot, exchanged pictures and talked about sexual topics.
A month ago he just stopped responding to my texts and calls. When I text him the messages will go through, but he won't reply. If I call him the phone will ring and he won't pick. We didn't quarrel and put last conversation ended on a good note. It's been a almost a month. I see he is online and he occasionally updates his WhatsApp status so I know nothing is wrong with him. I feel very disrespected.
Why would a guy tell you he likes you, flirt with you and then just disappear from your life? Doesn't he know that he is hurting me by acting in this way? Men are indeed trash. Maybe he wasn't sure he was getting anywhere with you. You may have made him feel that you weren't into him as he was into you. Trust me on this one, I recently did the same to a girl I liked. Turned out she really likes me but she just wasn't putting in any effort....and we men of nowadays don't really have time to waste..you get..so we move on. |

dermmy: Good one from China. UK please wake up from your dream you are no longer a colonial power. China is a sovereign nation and has the sovereign right to impose whatever law she deems necessary over her territory. China was foolish to have allowed the autonomous status, why would a colonial master steal your territory from you, ruled it for over a century and still dictate to you how to govern it after. Well that was when China was weak. Oga Hong Kong has been granted autonomy, China agreed to it. Let them respect that agreement. |

Kobojunkie: Would not washing one's hand prior to eating be considered outward uncleanliness as well? Remember what Jesus said about that? What I mean is maintaining the most basic level of personal hygiene. Not washing your hands before eating after you just did some work on your soakaway with the same hands or just trashed the 3 week old bin isn't good personal hygiene. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Is Cleanliness Really Next To Godliness? by solonubinho(m): 5:06pm On Jun 15, 2020 |
BackllGodNaija:
"If you are 'clean' inside and a pig on the outside, then Godliness is far away from you."
The above comment is yours abi, so what context are you talking to?
If you try to shift your goal post because the point I made about Lazarus debunks your idea, you shouldn't also try to shift blame. I chose to use the instance of Lazarus the beggar because he perfectly illustrated the bolded of your comment, yet godliness was not far from him. I could have used the disciples who didn't wash their hands...yet were not just close to godliness but to God Himself in the human form.
I said I wouldn't mind being a pig to you but clean to God, and this comment of yours further justifies that statement, because you sound like those would view the "Pharisees" who were "pigs" in God sight as clean, but the disciples who were clean to God as pigs.
I am not against the cleaning up of one's body as you already know, however if you really think that it's just outward uncleanliness that makes one prone to diseases and early death, then you're highly misinformed and so far away from the truth. Inward uncleanliness is the greatest cause of diseases and early deaths. Exodus 15:26
Have a nice day. *sigh* Just read what you wrote. Devoid of any logic whatsoever I did not say "it is JUST outward uncleanness that makes one prone to diseases or death" I said X causes Y and Y causes Z. Hence, the fact that X causes Y doesn't necessarily mean that it is the only cause of Y. *sigh* as I said earlier, learn to read with context in mind, It'll prove very useful in the long term. I dont want to take you on your last line because I foresee you spewing another rubbish so I'll just save you the embarrassment and leave it here. But if you still wish to spray your ignorance in the air, for us to see then its fine. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Is Cleanliness Really Next To Godliness? by solonubinho(m): 2:14pm On Jun 15, 2020 |
BackllGodNaija: To be honest, I wouldn't mind being a pig to you, but yet clean to God, because a pig means something different to God from what it means to men. I'm quite sure that Lazarus the beggar would be a pig to you if he was here. Remember dogs licked his wounds so you can't tell me that he was not a pig on the outside. Yet he was clean to God which is the most important thing.
By the way, I ain't against outward cleanliness though. It appears you're terrible at contextualizing scenarios. But its okay, i'll explain to you. You see, Lazarus, the beggar was probably not dirty on his own accord. He was a beggar, one with little or no resources to alter his physical state for the better. Hence, we can establish that the use of Lazarus as an example is completely inaccurate. Thankfully, its good to know, as stated in your last line that you are not against outward cleanliness however, my position remains that both inward and outward cleanliness are on the same pedestal. Also, you see, outward uncleanliness makes your body, the vessel of God, prone to diseases. Diseases make you sick. Sickness leads to death. Death shortens one's life. A shortened life makes it impossible to carry out God's plan for such a person on earth (fulfil destiny). When you do not fulfil destiny, it means you have not done what God has asked of you. When you do not do what God has asked of you, it means you are disobedient, and if you are disobedient, then you are a sinner. I hope you understand. Not everything is bible this, bible that. That's why God has given us common sense and the holy spirit, Make use of these more often. Shalom. |
