PoliticsRe: Osun REC Admits Politicians, INEC Staff Bypassed BVAS by soojar(m): 11:28am On Feb 02, 2023
9jahotblog:
THE IGNORANCE OF THE WORKINGS OF BVAS IN OUR ELECTION AS RELATED TO RESULTS TRANSMISSION TO INEC SERVER AND THE REPORTAGE BY THE SERVER.

1. Inec put maximum of 500 to 750 registered voters per polling unit, thus the BVAS were programmed like that.

2. However, there are several polling units with over 1200 registered voters.

3. In such polling units as in (2) above will use minimum of two BVAS on election day for the purpose of election in the affected polling units.

4. At the end of the election, the votes are counted together regardless of the number of BVAS used for the election. The results are then filled into INEC form EC8A and same is then sent to INEC server via the BVAS. This is where the challenge is, remember each BVAS machine does *NOT* contain total number of accredited voters, infact, each BVAS will make the result "seemly" over voting until all the BVAS(s) used in such polling units *SYNCHRONISED*

5. In this context synchronisation means that all data on each of the BVAS machine has been processed together in the server such that all the data added up to form a single data. However, this takes time and depends on many factors such as data size, network of service provider, memory of server and processor, internal working of various diodes, resistors etc.

6. Practical examples of (5) above is when salaries of say police is made through a bank, it is programmed as a single schedule in the bank and paid by the push of a single button "pay" or "approved" but in reality the police officers will get their payment alert at different times across days sometimes weeks. If anyone print the statement of account of the while payment is ongoing the person will have different statements until the payment is completed, that's when system has completed synchronisation.
Another example is that we get many alert balance of account that is incorrect, infact sometimes the gives two different balance in a single text message -
i. Current bal. X
ii. Available bal. Y

7. This was what happened in the case under review, the APC fraudulently got a report from the server while synchronisation is ongoing while the PDP got another report from the same server after more data has synchronised.

8. The above explanation is not known to many people and that may include the judges of the tribunal and future judges at the appeal court and supreme court. *THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE*

9. We need to make this known to the entire public through public advocacy using NGOs NOT LAWYERS. Infact we need to stage INEC ICT Director in an interactive discussion in disguised voter education programme organised by our NGO people.

10. This must be done in national TVs such everybody including would be judges would have understood the whole idea before the appellate courts judgement.
Your number 7 is wrong sir.
APC obtained CERTIFIED report from INEC. It was stamped and signed by INEC and they also came to the tribunal to confirm they gave that out to APC.

They could have told APC that the system was still synchronizing but they didn't, they said that was certified and true report.
But they came back while the tribunal was in session that they now have another report (synchronized one).

Take note. INEC has said they will not contest the verdict, so it's left with PDP to go argue their case, INEC will only come as a witness.

The law is not sentimental, if PDP can argue their case well I foresee an upturn or at best for APC a rerun would be ordered.

PoliticsRe: Rhodes-Vivour Defeats Sanwo-Olu, Jandor In Independent Poll by soojar(m): 4:47pm On Feb 01, 2023
bennybuhari:
Labour Party (LP) Lagos governorship candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour has has just caused a major upset by defeating 15 others vying for the office of Lagos Number One citizen in the forthcoming 2023 general elections, in an independent poll conducted on Tuesday.

Gbadebo polled a total of 7,776 votes to defeat the incumbent governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Adediran Azeez Olajide, popularly called Jandor.

While Sanwo-Olu garnered 4,711 as runner-up, Jandor had 3,250 to come a distant third in the poll.

The poll, according to the organisers, was launched on December 6, with the sole aim of ensuring excellence in the promotion of credible elections, participatory democracy, human rights, and strengthening of governance institutions for the consolidation of democracy practice around the world, adding that Nigeria is of great interest to them because of its position as the most populous black nation in the world as well as Africa’s second-largest economy.

Now I want to believe those that have been telling us to disregard all these polls.

Because I don't want to believe that anyone (even if he's just landing from Mars) would think Sanwolu will not win Lagos.

For those that didn't read the letter before commenting:

1. Someone wrote to the agency to investigate a money laundry crime by alpha beta and a UK company.

2. The agency wrote back to the individual/individuals to substantiate the claims with more evidence for them to proceed.

Summary: The agency is waiting for more details from the whistleblower before the launch an investigation.

The presidential candidate of the APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has said that Peter Obi denied Jesus Christ three times, citing references from the Holy Bible.

He said: “Me, I am not afraid of anybody and I don't worry.

“The man who left here he calls himself Peter Obi.

“We read in the Bible that before cock crows three times, he will deny Jesus Christ.

“He denied [Jesus], so how can he keep a promise to you if he cannot keep promise to God.”
Tinubu's arrogance is legendary. That might eventually be his undoing.

Slowly, but unfortunately steadily, Atiku is making inroads.

You don't need account number, good network and waiting for alert to be confirmed if you have physical cash.
One time I visited folks in the village. I witnessed votes buying first hand. If same is deplored everywhere then this cbn efforts stops nothing.et

They have coordinators for each polling unit. The coordinator in turn deals with like unit leaders who receives payment on behalf of people he/brought down to the polling centre. One of my aunt's was a unit leader that day, and as early as 6.30 she had gone to mobilize her people. That day she went to her booth with 7 people. Funny enough she got the money later in the evening, yet they were so sure of getting the money.

Now imagine a unit leader that 35k is transferred to will not know how to sort out just 7people either through cash, or pos or payment later, or use it to pick goods? These things are actually easier in the rural communities than we thought. It can only be a bit difficult if you are trying to buy vote where you are not really popular. But where you have their "theifing structure" on ground, 1m CBNs can't stop nothing.

The government of Sierra loan bought vehicles from Innosson and have not had any problem but Nigerians instead of supporting their own brand keeps demarketing their brand because he is an Igbo man.

The fuss is about, if you truly live in North London you won't see any mechanic mad enough to be lifting a customer's car engine out of car like that, so why encourage that in Nigeria? If the guy wants to go for weight lifting contest let him join the nearest Gym centre.

As for pulley system, just type it on google you will see enough pictures and videos and even how to construct a simple one yourself.

I'm sure the guy in the video just did that for trending or they had a bet on if he can lift it single-handedly or not (hence the reason for recording it on video) I'm sure that particular mechanic workshop has the pulley system I'm talking about. Even at the end of the video you could see they have something to move heavy parts from one place to the other within the workshop.

I don't think we should be defending the indefensible here.

That was unprofessional. If it's my car someone is standing on like that I won't like it.

If he wants to exercise, he should enter Gym.

If he's an apprentice then, his master is very unprofessional.

if that is how the person that produced the car carried the engine inside surely you won't meet the car in one piece.

It is one thing to have power, it is another thing to have legitimacy.

Even the most brutal dictators in history still seeks for legitimacy despite knowing no one can challenge them.

Even if it is sure for Tinubu as you said (I don't believe he sees it that its that sure for him anyway), he would still need more and more people on board to legitimize his power whether by fair ballot or by rigging.
