Looks like you are not getting what that fellow is saying.

It is not about who controls the port, but about getting it built and functioning.

The FG has given the go ahead to 3 different states to construct ports (the person controlling as you are saying is not the issue now)

Lagos state has brought in a private investor who has built in conjuction with Lagos state and FG, and the company will make its money back by controlling about 70% of the revenue generated there for a specified period of time. Lagos state will make money also for its role in bringing the investor by earning about 20% while FG also gets its own percentage.

What he is saying therefore is that the other states should seek for investors and stop folding their arms. Those other states that believe they need ports in their states also should seek FG approval and once they get it, let them either build it or source for investors to do so for them.

This does not have anything to do with exclusive list or not. The exclusive list is just to let you know it's the FG that controls and can legislate on Ports and other things on that list. Now the same FG has authorized those states to go ahead and build if they have the capacity and resources to do so.

Obi's candidacy is an opening call especially to the politicians. For the youths, they'll be massively disappointed when Obi loses and hence, their phobia for elections may be reignited

I have these questions:

We have 19 states in the North, which of them do you genuinely think Peter Obi will win

We have 6 states in the South West, which of them do you genuinely think Peter Obi will win

At best, Obi's candidacy is just an awakening call to the Nigerian youth and politicians too that it won't be business as usual. The politicians will know they are now answerable to the people. As for this election it is a straight battle between Tinubu and Atiku. Obi and kwankwaso are only playing spoilers.

No Lagos governor did more projects like Fashola because with the withheld Lagos allocation he received from Yar'Adua + IGR, no governor in Nigeria has been able to control such an amount.

The withheld money was still Lagos money. Did you ask how the state was surviving when the money was being held? That is where good governance comes in

Nobody gave Lagos the money it generates. Lagos makes its own money by thinking outside the box. Let those governors you mentioned think outside the box and look for ways to generate those money not handed over to them.

Have you heard of LAKE rice? Its a recent partnership between Lagos state government and Kebbi state government in production of rice for Lagos market. Even though the project has not really attained the level I expect it to be but that is an example of thinking outside the box.

Most of those governors you are talking about are waiting monthly for federal allocation from abuja and later come back to say give me the money Lagos have and I will do wonders. Generate your money and do wonders with it, leave Lagos state alone to do nonsense with the money they generated.

You are not smart. Borno registered voters is less than Anambra. Don't forget Borno has good number of Christians in Southern Borno and they are OBIdient. Kaduna has 40% of Christians. Even Buhari could not get 1million in Kaduna because of southern Kaduna factors. PDP candidate in guber poll in Kaduna got more than 800+ votes. Gombe and Adamawa can give PO more than 25%.
