I contacted a nairalander sometimes in August 2019 who was selling a VTU script and requested for one, he told me it was 100k, after much negotiation, we settled for 30k. All through that period, he was very polite and was friendly. As soon as he got the money, he became totally rude. I tolerated it because he kept reminding me that I paid lower than the agreed sum for the script. Our agreement was that he would work on it and build up the script to the required standard. After he told me he was done, I proceeded to check on the site, but realised there were many unnecessary details on the site and that the script wasn't functioning as earlier taught. I complained about this to him and he quickly replied me that I didn't pay for customer service. I asked him if this was how the script would have been if I had paid the 100k he earlier requested, he never replied to this. From that day, that was the Genesis of my problems, almost everyday, I was paying him to problems on the site and I ended up spending the said ₦100,000 he earlier requested. In spite of all these, the site became worse than it was at the beginning.
One day, I logged in to the site to fund a customer's wallet, I met with a bug on it "user not found" I complained about this to him about it his reply was "is it everyday that your site is always having problems" he told me he was tired of working on it. Note that in all those times he would fix any problem on the site, I paid everything he requested from me.

After he made that statement, I was severally pained. I contacted a lot of developers who would help me overhaul the site, all of them said they can't do so because it is only the initial developer who could know which file was which. I continued this search until I abandoned the site for almost 5 months, I lost all my customer base.

When I got enough payment from my NYSC allowance I continued the search, but each told me only the original developer could work on it. That's how I contacted this man again, I led down everything to him. We agreed on 45k and I paid him a total of 30k in advance and then balance the latter after he was done. He said it would take him 2 weeks after the end of the two weeks, he complained that he had been sick. I gave him an extension. After 1 week, he returned that he's done. My instincts told me to check the site first before paying him the remainder. I went back to the site and observed that the site was still as it was.
Also note that when I told him to overhaul the site, it was to change the method of earning on the site. Could you believe that he changed nothing but just added features without removing the other details on the site? With this every thing I clicked was clashing between them. I complained about this to him and told him in simple terms that since he previously complained that the script was always having problems, why is he still using it, why is users still showing "not found" and others.
His reply was "after suffering to build, you're not saying that what I built was trash" I told him, how can you think someone would pay for a work and not expect the work to function properly. I proceeded to tell him to either take care of the errors I listed(he asked that I show them to him) or refund the money paid so I can continue searching for someone else. He refused, when I continue requesting for refund, he blocked me. I sent my cousin to talk to him, he also blocked the person.

Please anyone who knows how I can reach him or know how yo settle this because all I need is my money, if he's convinced that what he built was good, he's free to take the site along with the hosting but he should just refund my money to me. He knows if I was in Abuja with him, I would have visited him in his office, he's only behaving like this since he knows I can never reach him.

“What does bootstrap do?”

it's the original site and the only thing is that it's browsing from another URL.

Yes simple HTML frames can do the work. But you can also use CURL.

A friend of mine is advising me that going for my masters is a waste of time and money I should go for certification courses. It is more proficient in IT industry than going for masters. And you can not hate frameworks except uve never built anything serious that requires you to write complex logical codes. You'd rather spend your time doing that than redundantly reinventing the wheel

I don’t think you know who I am and how good I can code. You probably didn’t understand what I said earlier. Many people start learning JS by starting out with a framework, take it or leave it. The basic concept of JavaScript was learnt along with them. But you didn’t see where I mentioned that it is not the best learning method. I know of many guys who started using ExpressJS frameworks of Node to start learning web dev before they fully grabs JS.
Many started using JQuery before the understand what some deep concepts of JS. And I never mentioned you don’t need to have a single understanding of basic JS. I only said the understanding don’t have to be deep. Many frameworks dis days are easy to use since their ideology are based on abstraction. You don’t need a deep understanding to use today’s web framework. And for your info I don’t like using frameworks, they always have their own learning curves which over time can become a habit to change.

Since you have decide to be a front end dev, concentrate on it now. There is a blur line concerning learning frameworks and the real codes. You have to be doing the two side by side but one advice I will give you now is to treat them patiently and stick with a learning style until you’re comfortable to move on. So if for example you start with Vue.js. Just ensure you keep on it until you understand it properly. As for learning JavaScript properly. It should be your watch work. Keep learning pure JavaScript time by time. It will in on the long run help you have a deep understanding of any framework you are making use of. But I mean on a long run. If you’re doing small UI projects. Handle it will Pure JS, CSS and HTML . But if big then use frameworks. Frontend design has two part of it. It has the artistic prowess and the coding part. Almost no one is greater than the other but just concentrate

Let's say MR A got admission to a university using fake result and details with the help of MR B(REGISTRA). MR Ais one of the best student in his department or faculty. MR A fell out with MR B...MR B decided to blackmail him. Are you saying the school authority should ignore the fact that MR A got admitted with failed credentials because he is one of the best student in the school?

I am not in argument of trying to save the Edo Governor. Infact I barely know who he is. If anyone was to Judge Obaseki. APC is the last body to do so as they lack all moral background since they were also involved. MR B lack all morals to judge Mr A.

All I am trying to say is that we citizens shouldn’t fall into their games of politics, it is what they always do. Let us vote people based on their mandate and legacy. Let us vote who can do the job. It doesn’t have to be from APC or PDP. This certification saga is nothing but a ploy and a distraction and the last people to get involved in it is us the citizens.

I am gonna ignore your first sentence.
People knowing what they are doing is bad is very accurate but not everyone knows so well about the after-effect of their actions in the future. When we were younger we took actions that appeal to our pleasure but as we grew older we refrain from some them because we now understand better that if something wrong happen it pose a greater threat than any pleasure we can ever experience. And look deeply into the previous comment I made. I said “Not Everyone”.
Some people are evil and have made being evil their mandate and legacy they want to leave behind. But many other are based on being naive, ignorant and lack of proper exposure.
