This is not about how much he earns. It is about his financial responsibility. I don't think there is much you can do without him flipping out. IMO, I think k you should conduct you and your children affairs as if you are a single mother, as if he is no longer in the picture. Basically, you have to learn to save no matter what. Let all financials be in you name, not in both of your names. Cut down expenses significantly. You can have a weekly budget etc etc. Acidosis: If 70k is earns monthly and you o ahead to put your kids in a 200k/term school, then get ready to pay the bills alone.
You're being sympathetic to the whole situation. I believe you know how much he earns before you married him, so try and adjust events. If he fails to renew the coming rent, then you guys should relocate to a 1 room apartment, anywhere his 70k salary can acquire.
For as long as you (especially) is not ready to see your kids stay out of school; or reduce your meal to 1-0-1; or change from beef to kpomo, there is NOTHING he can do about it. His salary is fixed, and you know this before you married him! |

Go and see a doctor. You may be prescribed some skin products and/or drugs. Do not use funbact A and its ilks. Some are steroids, some are acid. Which means that if they clear your skin, they may expose your skin to something much worse than acne. You are not the first sucker for love and you won't be the last. Shit happens. It is an experience you should learn from. Don't let it change you do the worst however you should probably try to be less clingy, be more assertive and more often than not put your emotional health first-I am not asking you to be selfish but you should learn to balance your interest with your partner's. |

That moment when you have no female in your life worthy of being looked up to as a professional.....What a sad life. Blame your mama, not all women. She could have been one postive experience if others couldn't, alas she failed. hedonistic: The same thing I think about most female 'professionals' in Nigeria. Not who I would call upon if I want to get a good job done. Their calling card is seldom their expertise or competence, but the sentimental/blackmail-laden fact of their being a 'female' this or that.
They work best as cogs in the wheel...as freeloaders in organisational teams. Seldom excel as creative leaders or brilliant solopreneurs who fashion out innovative, 'good thinking' solutions to solve difficult problems. |

This is the best time to be your child's best friend. Find a way to get the name out of him. However, pending the time he is ready to tell you, tell him to inform you if it happens again and allay his fears. Predators often threaten the child, it is best if the child knows that no such thing would happen regardless of the threats.
I prat you find the beast

The society has been and is being reprogrammed, nudity on the streets and in the movies is influencing the society and causing various changes that are detrimental to the society in general.

Wawuu, you should have mentioned earlier that you could read minds. Who knew? We are not talking about whether it is a first time mistake or not. How unfortunate of him , too bad God didn't give us that ability to read minds like you. However it is not out of line to actually speak about it. That is the husband could have actually spoken to his brother never to barge into their room again whether they are around or not, whether they are together or not and whether or not the wife is absent. It is called common sense. That shouldn't be too difficult for you to understand, should it? johnson232: Lol...This is what the op's husband didn't fall for...kudos to him... Op expected her husband to beat his brother & sent him packing....& later put the blame on the man if she had a gun to his head...So Op husband is wise afterall going by your comment... |

I still don't get it. unclothedness does not the mean shit. Your great great great great grand mother probably could tied leaves to cover some parts of her body OR moved around stark naked. I can't see how it is different from what is happening in today and I am yet to come across anything that proved or disproved that they were more respected. Also, this issue with women's appearance is rooted in modern society thanks to Abrahimic religions. Don't get it twisted, man. Besides, the whole point of this thread is about barging into someone else's room without permission. It doesn't matter if it is a lady or a man nor does i matter if it is a matrimonial room. Geez! You can't help yourself. You must find a way to blame women, don't you? Kondomatic: Because women go virtually Unclad on the streets. This woman complaining here will go to beach and remove 97% of her clothes in public, turn on your TV and you will see Unclad women here and there.
I am not trying to justify what happened but all these have a way they influence the way people see and treat women. |

Family › Re: My Brother In Law Barged Into My Room While I Was Unclad!! by Sterope(f): 6:30pm On Jun 07, 2017 |
What does 'asking for permission before entering other people's rooms' have to do with the worth of a woman? Kondomatic: Back then when women knew their worth as women, a man dare not enter a married woman's room even if he's invited.
You get message? Deliver it from outside or wait until her husband comes back but those wey go school say wey dey imprison them so we set them free.
Guys trying to justify this act are just silly. You don't enter people's room without knocking, even my mom cannot enter my room without knocking. Unless something is after her.
The best thing to do when you enter a woman's room and see what you're not supposed to see is to turn around and leave without her direction a second time. |
Family › Re: My Brother In Law Barged Into My Room While I Was Unclad!! by Sterope(f): 6:26pm On Jun 07, 2017 |
I can't barge into my parent's room. It is common sense and home training which apparently, the brother-in- law lacks. In fact, common sense should dictate that when couples are inactive room together, you refrain from disturbing them unless it is important. If you were brought with barging into others people's room with no regards for their privacy, please know that it is very wrong and it speaks a whole lot about your upbringing. Seems to me like you are the brother in law in question Davash222: Can't she lock the door knowing she's UNCLAD |

You may be against women having multiple sexual partners. As for me It is not my headache. It becomes my headache when someone has to suffer emotionally and financially for her irresponsibility. Same way I won't ask alcohol to be criminalised because of some irresponsible dolts. She should be ready to bear the financial cost of the parternity test and other emotional costs that comes with it. In my experience, the mother usually knows the father of her child. Which means more often than not, the woman already knows how the father of child is. Zarzar already mentioned that in South Africa, it is not uncommon to request for a dna test before registering a baby. That is one way to go. I guess this is the price to pay for premarital sex, infidelity and unprotected sex. eyinjuege: Which one will work? Criminalizing multiple sexual partners ( putting men and women in jail for having more than one girlfriend or boyfriend)? Or criminalizing giving pregnancy to the wrong person? You cannot criminalise people giving a pregnancy to the wrong person without first of all making it criminal to have more than one lover. Because some of these women genuinely don't know the owner of their pregnancy, especially if they sleep with Ayo this morning, and Obinna in the evening. And then go and meet Ahmed the following morning. Please na who come get the pregnancy? Is it not the person that agrees amongst the 3 she will give it to? Meanwhile, while criminalizing multiple sexual partners, don't forget you have to do it for both male and female. So no more quaffing Bimpe, Nneka and Amina for only your willie |
