Germany likely to head into recession, central bank warns

25/10/2019

Germany’s economy is heading into recession after the country’s central bank warned that a slump in exports during the summer was likely to continue into the autumn.

The Bundesbank said a downturn in orders for cars and industrial equipment in the second quarter of the year was likely to continue in the third quarter, leaving the economy on the brink of a technical recession, defined as two consecutive quarters of negative GDP growth.

The bank, blaming a drop in exports, said Brexit and the trade war between the US and China were among the factors responsible for a 0.1% drop in GDP in the three months to June and would likely create a similar drop in the three months to September.
Thanks. But I don't think anybody here will care too much about this.

That's what travel buddy means bro. Because you have to stay alongside each other when you didn't even book tickets together. I'm just saying It's not achievable. No be fight oh. Please, Biko, Dalu!
It might also mean going to the airport together, waiting for departure, boarding together, booking hotels together.
But the fact remains that the person did not ask or quote you, why bothered?

Hello everyone,

I applied for BSc and got denied for TRV twice this year (May and July precisely).

I don't know if applying for MSc would raise eyebrow as I initially applied for BSc in order to get TRV.

Can someone help with this?
Why did you apply for BSc? If you already have a Bsc, applying for another is likely a refusal.
You can apply for Msc as it shows study progression.

Hello everyone, I’m new here and I would love to ask few questions 1)I need recommendations on good schools in Canada, I studied political science but I want to do my masters in Human Resources management
2) What are my chances of getting visa, since I’ve gotten an America visa before would that to my advantage.
1. Check University of Toronto for Master of Industrial relations and human resources
Check University of Regina for Master of human resource development.

2. Yes, as long as you didn't violate any rules, it's an advantage.

Hello everyone. A big thank you to everyone making this forum very active and informative.

Please when Reapplying for study permits for an application initially denied cos VO " felt he might not come back".
Do I need the police clearance certificate. Though in the first application I didn't do any police thing. Is it necessary now?

Appreciate the time and effect in ur kind responses.
No, police clearance is not a requirement, whether first time or reapplication. Although you can add it if you feel like but I'm not sure it matters unless it's one from a foreign country you've been in.

I'm on the application process for a Canadian visa (not students visa) but was asked how many persons in my family e.g. spouse, partner, etc and how much I'll be bringing to Canada for their upkeep?

I'm single but have siblings (most of my sisters are married). If I include all of them we may be about 10 persons. What's the chance of getting visa if I include all of them considering that the amount I need to state should be higher? Or should I just make it myself and the current amount I have?

Thanks guys
10 people is a whole lot. From the VO's perspective, you all are trying to run to Canada together.

What type of visa is this?

Like I said everyone has the right to learn new things , so please don’t respond by first saying am asking a stupid question .. you don’t even know who you’re talking to .. I am not even in the Nigeria you are ... please for clarity .. if you can’t answer pass .. I don’t know why Nigerians are full of hate , pain and anger ... go abroad bro .. so you see how the whites respond ... to even the most stupid questions ... I would always say , Nigeria is cursed because of Nigerians .. not the leaders
No one asked where you are.
Secondly, if you go through my posts, you will see that I always respond to questions calmly, never insult anyone but always advise people not to ask stupid questions on here for obvious reasons.
You that asked the question here, did it seem to you that using a study permit as a way in is the right thing to do?
Again, my reply is not an insult, I never insulted you personally.

Please I would love to know , if I apply for canada study permit ,, when I get to Canada , is it compulsory that I have to study ?? Because me wan go work there o.... I just need a way In
Don't ask stupid questions like this here.
It's a study permit, yes you MUST study or you won't get the right papers for the work that you want to work.
If you want to work not study, go for express entry.

Paper route or online route, which is actually better. Advise pls
it's all a matter of choice. If you mean the one that gives you the higher chance of visa approval, honestly they're all the same.

Good evening everyone here, I am a rare visitor here, but I've decided to check out on Canadian student visa. I have applied for u.s visa twice but got denied. The most recent happened today, I want to go for an undergraduate degree in computer engineering or architecture. Please how is the visa approval rate and what are the likely documents to be asked? Is the interview face to face appearance?
Hi, sorry about your refusal. No, there is no interview in the Canada study visa application.

Yes i didnt indicate no in my application but they only refused me based on financial ground please check the attached gcms note. But my fear now is i hope i wont be barn if i say yes in my next application and i need your help to reapply again when my new admission letter is out
I don't really know about this. Canada shares info with US so they likely knew that you have been refused visa before, maybe you got lucky and they didn't take any further action apart from a denial.
Any other person can offer their thoughts on this.

have been a silence reader after i applied for my student visa, my visa was refused on june 2019 based on financial ground. it was after i submitted my application that i realize that when someone has been refused visa in any country i have to indicate NO, meanwhile have been refused US visa before i travel to Turkey to go and study. but my fear now is that hope i wont be barn with my next application, moreover i just receive my GCMS last week and have differed my admission already , please someone should help me.
Your question isn't clear enough.
Do you mean that you didn't indicate that you have been refused a visa when you submitted your application?

Good day everyone, please gurus in the house I need some guidance, am married but my account is more robust than my husband own. Must one have a sponsor if you can sponsor yourself what is your chance.
Yes, you can sponsor yourself but you must show proof of funds for the total duration of your studies.

If you are using your husband as your sponsor, you will only need to show proof of funds for a year. However, be aware that the VO will take your kids (if you have) into account, and if your husband will be financially able to sponsor you, while catering for them.

Thanks, Friend.
One last question, Did you write TOEFL or is it optional since Nigeria is an English speaking country?
95% of the time, TOEFL/IELTS won't be required for Canada . They normally waive it for Nigerians.

1. What if you had a 2nd class upper of 3.63/5 which is low in Nigeria?

2. What if you don't have kids or married? Will they reject your appliation?
1. You can get admitted for a masters degree with that gpa.
2. No, you don't have to be married or have kids to get approved. But you will need a good home tie like a good job, properties etc.

1. Is there any school that will offer me admission to either study a PGD or a masters based on my Bsc grade and work experience?

2. I have three kids, if I can get admission should I apply alone or with my husband and kids? Although my husband cannot join me in Canada at the moment due to work and businesses to run here in Nigeria.

3. What courses is advisable to apply for if PGD or MSc. As it’s over 10years I graduated and have not done any other course since graduation.

4. My kids are all USC, do I need to apply for them or they can join me in Canada if I apply alone?

Please your advice, opinion, suggestions and positive criticism will be well appreciated.

Thanks all
1. There are several schools that will offer you PGD or post graduate certificate related to Computer Science (depending on how high your 3rd class is too). Check Algonquin College, Lambton College, Conestoga College , Centennial College, Seneca College. If you are choosing a PGC, try to go for a 2 year program rather than a year program. Unfortunately, you cannot do an Msc with just a Bachelor's 3rd class in Canada.

2. If you can apply alone for the moment, it is better. That way you use your husband and kids as your home ties.

3. Courses related to Computer Science and your current job e.g. database development, I.T. Solutions, Web Development etc.

4. Sorry, I don't understand what you mean by USC but they can still join you later if you apply alone now.
