Hello guru in the house. I’m new here. I need an answer to my question ASAP because the whole thing is bothering me oo

I submitted my Canada study visa application last week Wednesday

The problem is on my “Application made outside of Canada form” I ticked that I haven’t being refuse a visa before but I was 2018 at the US embassy. I hope this won’t affect my chances of getting the visa or the VO won’t find it it as an act of violating the rule? It was an unintentional mistake

All other documents are sent by my dad twin brother from the US(a citizen).
This might lead to a ban. Withdraw your application if you can.

Abeg close mouth abeg ...the way most of una dey talk sef .. Nigerians do scam reach Russians or Americans?? Wetin even concern Ritual killing, Terorism and Kidnapping for this discuss?? This your yan na real Okoto Meow tbfh. ..
If our Government was a responsible one many of this countries wouldn't be treating us like trash so spare us this your shallow Reasons
Yes, Nigerians do scam pass all of them, truth be told. Also citizens of those countries don't go to other countries and become a menace. I bet you that a certain percentage of people applying for visa here do not plan to complete their degree once they get to Germany.
Also all the people booking AD without any admission, or all the canceling and rebooking stuff. Nigerians always look to cut corners and all these are enough reasons. Many African countries gave governments as bad as ours and do not get this treatment. It's not always the government's fault.

Hello everyone. Please for those that schooled in schools that don't give transcripts to students (especially ABSU) how did you go about getting a copy for applying to various schools?
Get them to send it to another school or company where you know someone that can pick it up for you.

Pls advice me, between Canada vs Australia, which should I opt for, considering long time goal, settling down n making money?
Both are very good countries, with very good economies.

In terms of visa application, both are difficult. I think Australia might be slightly easier to get now than Canada due to higher number of people applying to Canada. Though you'll probably need an agent for the Australian visa.

In terms of salary and quality of life, there isn't much difference.

Canada is close to USA, Australia is close to Indonesia and New Zealand.

The other difference is the weather : Australia is known to have similar temperatures to us while Canada is very very cold.

Your decision.

A fresh microbiology graduate wants to apply for an undergraduate degree in medicine or nursing in Canada. Will that raise a red flag in getting a visa/study permit?
Yes. A masters is more advisable.

Adequate info would be so much appreciated or links I can get them from. Thanks

Please, I would like to know universities in US that do give Funding (full or half)
Program: MS in finance
CGPA(WES): 3.56/4.00 in International Finance (undergrad)
And I'm planning on writing GRE next month

Kindly help a brother
Thank you
You have to check the websites. All highly ranked universities in the US give funding. So it's up to you to visit their websites and check funding availability for your course.

The police report will still be inclued in the online process? And is there anyone place to get it done apart from Lagos?! Thanks once again
The police report is not really compulsory.
But you can still get it done if you are not in Lagos.

You're welcome.

So between offline and online application; which is easier and preferable?
If you have lots of documents that might exceed the limit then you should use offline as it has no document size limit.
If you are not too comfortable with tech ie scanning, converting to pdf, compressing etc, offline might be better for you.

Those are the two advantages of offline (paper) route. Otherwise online will save you the stress of going to submit documents, you can just upload everything from the comfort of your home.
None of them will give you an advantage over the other in getting your approval though.

What are you talking about quota? People are getting visa everyday.
Around April, it was like 50-50 approval and denial, now we see about 1 approval to 20 denials

Sorry. I would tell you to apply for your GCMS notes but that does not help these days.
I think CIC have probably reached a kind of quota for the year.
In my opinion, don't reapply this year.

After 2months of waiting, I just checked my application status now and this is what I get:

Visa application, tracking ID No.20191008CALASTU35614 – Your processed passport is ready for collection , on 15/11/2019 at the Canada Visa Application Centre. To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website

What does this mean pls?
Did you get a medical request?
If not then it's likely a refusal

I'm much grateful sir. I wouldn't know maybe it the combination of the two exams TOEFL and GRE that will be helpful for me in getting scholarship or GRE alone. Please I need advice on this. My course is MBA with concentration in Marketing or Operation Research
Of course, you should write the two exams to improve your chances.
MBA generally requires higher TOEFL scores than most courses, so don't take TOEFL lightly.

Thanks, but the express entry score is low, So can I cancel the EE profile while I apply for study permit. Do you think a having a profile that was cancelled just before the study application will be a concern for the VO? as you know all profiles in IRCC for the same individual are linked.
Yes of course, it's a concern.
But are you really sure there isn't anything you can do to boost your scores? If there isn't really anything you can do, then you can give the study permit a try. You never know.
But stay with EE if you can.

Good morning house. I plan to write my GRE by February 2020. I want to know maybe it's after I've written my GRE that I can now apply to schools with full funding scholarship or I can do that before writing the exams. My graduate course is MBA and I want to major in marketing management and research. Also please can anyone in the house explain to us how to calculate our CGPA on a 4 scale using the WES iGPA calculator to American standard, I'm not getting it at all. My undergraduate CGPA is 3.82/5.
I am open to any form of advice as far as it will be of help and also to schools I should look forward to applying to. Please Please and Please. Ejowo

Your advice will be highly appreciated.
Thanks
Your gre score will help you determine the schools to apply to. You have to write the exam first because you will also use your scores to apply to the schools.

As for your wes, use their online conversion tool https://applications.wes.org/igpa-calculator/

Is it safe to have an an active express entry profile and then apply for study permit at the same time?
Will that raise s red flag to the visa officer that you will not come back after studies?
According to Canada immigration, this is allowed.
But I don't recommend it, it's definitely a red flag. Just go with the best option for yourself out of the two and only that.
