Hello belong and other well known gurus here. I sm about to begin this process but have some questions. I trained as a lawyer (llb and masters in law) but work as an admin/facility person. My experience is in the latter. What are my chances of a successful assessment by the relevant body bearing in mind the disparity with my course of study and what I currently do.
Also i intend to get in under the occupation list while hinging on "facility manager" or do you think I'm better off sticking with legal even though my strongest career points ate not from that end
Also which of these areas will be best, southern Australia region, northern Australia region or Tasmania? |

IamLaura: In as much as his action is highly commendable,I'll like to add that he didn't really have much of a choice. He works in an organized country and in a company that has the database and information of all their workers so it would've been near impossible to get away with that. Ones' environment really goes a long way in changing their behavior and influencing their actions,if he was still in Nigeria I'm sure his instincts will have told him to do otherwise except of course he happens to fall in the category of those very rare and genuine Nigerians. Celebrate good please. I forgot my phone in an uber in Lagos. Dude brought it back to my office. He didn't even have to. Returning it to their head office in Lekki was ideal but he brought it back to me. Same Nigeria too... |

What a story bro. So sorry but I believe you need to put yourself in your dad's shoes.
Who wants him dead? What did he do or refuse to do? Are his fears valid? Have you confirmed this from his family and friends? Is it a case of village arrow or hallucination brought on by a medical condition? If his fears are valid, then allow him be in his spot at Abuja. I mean, if someone wants a man dead and he strongly believes this, taking him to that spot or state is worsening things.
Go and visit your dad in Abuja once in a while. Let the man be at peace and you too learn to give yourself peace. If he didn't take care of you since and you are standing tall then trust me, you'll be fine. Don't worry about what he didn't do these past years. You are lucky you even found your dad. Some die without knowing a thing. Give yourself rest I say again.
God bless you bro |

ogologoamu: Human rights lawyer, Mr. Femi Falana (SAN), has threatened to sue the Federal Government following his involvement in a road accident.
The human rights lawyer had broken his leg after falling into a manhole while walking to his office in Abuja.
He promised that he would not leave the matter to God like the ordinary Nigerian would, but will sue the government on Wednesday.
Falana who made this known while delivering his speech at the National Stakeholders Summit on Whistleblowing in Abuja on Tuesday said, “I am sure you saw me limping and using a walking stick when I was coming in. It is because I fell into a manhole while walking to my office on Shehu Shagari Way.
“I broke my leg and I am even wearing Plaster of Paris and I was even hospitalised. So, I won’t like the ordinary Nigerian leave it to God.
“I have decided that tomorrow I will sue the Federal Government.”

Family › Re: I Deny My Husband Sex Because Of STD by stonecoldcafe: 8:53pm On Nov 05, 2017 |
desreek9: Please take time to read this, I really need your advice.
I am a working mother of four kids (2 sets of twins) been married since 2012; I and my husband communicate well, our sex life is great (we explore diff. styles) and I make sure everyone is contented and satisfied or so i thought. How i found out he was cheating I noticed I didn't see my period for two months which is weird, I checked if i was with child but it was negative, before then I noticed burning feeling when i pee and pains so i decided to see a doctor, that was how i received the greatest shock of my life. I was told i had STD, I was in shock, crying and shaking cos i know i got it from my husband, was told to do an HIV test.
After the longest wait of my life and vomiting due to anxiety and panic, it was negative. Three months later was still negative, I went home thinking of ways to kill my husband. Later that night i first asked him if he was cheating he blatantly denied but when i showed him the test result, he was dumbfounded and started begging, i asked him why with tears rolling down my eyes, he couldn't give any reason because he knows everything was great btw us, i told him we would never make love anymore that i can't risk my life because of sex, he was begging me saying he would change, i told him i can never trust him cos once a cheat, always a cheat.
My people, it's over a year and we've not had sex, he can't chase me away from the house because we both built it and the land is in my name, sometimes he comes home late but i really don't care since we have separate bedroom. He said he can't leave because he will have to tell his and my people but he doesn't want the embarrassment. Apart from all these, every other aspect is great at home, so my question is this; is my decision too harsh or am i justified? Keep having sex dear but stay protected. How can you go a whole year with no sex? I give you hand o! |

I had a girl who I idolised and wanted to be just like her. She was gorgeous, intelligent, well behaved and so on. She is a few years older than me, so I always admired her from afar. I always sang her praises and I just wanted to be like her.
I one day plucked up the courage to message her on Facebook, I told her congrats for graduating university and I sent her a friend request. After a long time of waiting my request was DECLINED and message ignored.
I was confused, so I added her again.
After a long time of waiting my request was again DECLINED.
I was confused, I did not have a profile picture at the time but we had mutual friends, and to be fair she did not really know me we spoke a few times at a party as we went in a group, and my mother gave her a lift home.. but still if you have mutual friends with someone and they add you twice, and send you a congratulations message surely you will reply or something? Or maybe not, it’s not by force.
I moved on with my life.
A few years later she got married and her mother wanted me and a whole lot of other girls to be one of her traditional bridesmaids. She introduced me to her daughter (the girl I am talking about), and her daughter was really friendly and smiling and wanted to hug me but I did not go in for the hug so it was a bit awkward ... The reason I acted how I did was because I was like, why am going to hug you when you can not even accept my friend request or reply to my message. My mother asked her if she knew me, and she said yes.
Nonetheless, after reflection I was like let me give her the benefit of the doubt and I was friendly etc there after.
The next time I saw her was at her wedding, she seemed so so stuck up. The people (us black girls) she did not acknowledge us at all, whereas all her white friends she was so loving towards. She is also marrying a white man. She also seemed kind off like she did not like me by the glances she gave me.
I later sent her another message a few weeks later saying "hello Mrs [insert new surname here], how are you"
She made her facebook so I could not add her (the add friend button had suddenly gone!) and she replied 'All is well. You?' and I replied 'all is well’.. she did not reply again. Is that not rude, no THANK YOU for taking the day of work to be a traditional bridesmaid at her wedding, no furthering the conversation - she sounded so blunt.
I did not message her again after that, nor did I attempt to add her on Facebook.
After, I discovered her mother had blocked me on WhatsApp! I cannot think of what I did, at all.
2 years later, my mother died (her mother and my mother) were good friends and she (the girl I am talking about) had been through something similar- as her dad died a few years ago, I just reached out to her that is all, telling her that my mother had died and she saw the message but did not reply.
How can someone hate me so much? Someone I literally idolised.
Their whole family make me feel uncomfortable, I saw their mother at church the other day. She asked me how I am, how I am coping and I said I’m fine etc, but she had a weird look on her face. And then she asked me whether my dad had gone back to work, and whether I had gone back to school.(personal questions)
What should I do? The thing that made my mental health bad was my relationship with myself and with others, I don’t want to go into 2018 with bad relationships. Move on with your life please |

Na so my guy lose out Be very wise, next time get paid before dropping letter of resignation. All the best in your new job. |
