All correspondence I had with the Diana lady and in the offer for the introductory course there were no charges but if I wanted to take other modules I will pay fees that was what I understood. Let me even send a mail to them now.

Why say its completely free then you send a bill for some hidden charges

By small print, I mean the terms and conditions. If you corresponded via post, check all the letters they sent. Then read the small print (usually placed at the bottom of letters and documents even online)

Most times, we are enticed by the caption in bold but when you read the small print (usually contained in the terms and condition) you see something else. Na so oyibo dey do although its wrong. I've fallen victim before and so I know.

I did apply for one introductory to project management which the agent said its completely free plus the textbook I think it was supposed to run for some weeks.
They did send one nice textbook, a flash drive, a pen and a sort of ID card. I didnt even finish the module.


Late last year I got a letter that I was to pay for IT I guess information technology.

I just checked now its 160 dollars. The agent told me the short course was completely free though.

Did you read the small print to confirm its totally free? Have you paid your debt now?

Very simple, one day as you guys are eating, pause for some seconds and allow her carry on with her bad habit. Then suddenly ask (IN AN AMUSED TONE) why do you do that?

"Do what?" She would ask.

Then in a loving tone simply correct her.

NB: my room mate had bad eating habits then. I managed for sooooooo long until one day I suddenly lashed out "why do you do that?"

"Do what?" the person asked.

On friday i got a text from them inviting me for an interview and the instruction was that you come with two passport and nothing more. But on getting there the HR started asking for CV's and original certificates which he succeded in using to chase most people away and then he came up with the big one "If you are an HND holder please leave" and this was the same organisation that invited me, i didnt apply o, na CV I drop. My question is what crime has HND holders committed?

immediately I opened the gate of my house to get in,a little girl of about 6 years ran up to me and tapped me on my dress,when I looked back at her,she just muttered "Sister God bless u"smiled and ran off!.....I was astonished!....
