There is no reason why it is not technically possible but the naira will become junk and a piece of tissue paper will be more valuable than that.

Basically, the naira is only valuable if it's scarce, because we use it to procure scarce resources.

In this day and age when many young mothers avoid breastfeeding their babies and opt for processed food formula, I respect the woman in that picture for still feeding such a grown baby.

I remember coming back with my masters and feeling fly. I didn't just have the masters but I had the experience as well from the obodo land
Everyone told me it would be easy to settle in but that changed when a year later I was still hiding my face inside room.
I was ashamed because I had done all I knew how to do and nothing was happening for me.

Today I got a call from a family member. It was filled with the usual rhetorics of how bad the country is and how even those graduates with professional courses have nothing to show for it.
I was dejected, this was my tale some years ago but my story has changed today. This short topic is to encourage graduates. Yes you can make it. Do not despair and one more thing, you don't need a god father. If you have one, nothing spoil but just know you don't need one to get that job

My brotherman Mike the scam is very, very real. I was asking people in Port Harcourt where I stay where these 30% interest is coming from and nobody could provide any reasonable answer. I was later directed to one guilder here in P.H. and the clown was busy beating about the bush without answering me where the 30% interest was coming from. Threads like this are meant to help you. Love is sweet but when one is in the marriage and is taking care of sick kids, that love will be so tested. You can't be forming hot love with an ill child. Do you have friends with sickle cell anemia, you go borrow yourself sense sharp sharp. I personally have lost a cousin (an only child) and a classmate to this SS ailment.

I have lived with a very close family friend whose first child was the one born with SS. We have no peace/joy when that girl was sick then. Every one will be on edge praying and doing vigil until she recovers.

In other cheerful news, there are medical solutions now available that can help a couple test while a mother is still pregnant. I have a friend who does that but please know you need the funds for this sort of venture.

There are other options too. A very good write up was done by a Dr Craig on BellaNaija some years back. Google and read up. Knowledge is power. Some of our parents didn't know any better but we have no excuse in this day and age.

On the 27th of October, I received an official mail from Palmchat about a partnership deal. According to them, they have been meticulously reading and following my write-ups on both my blog and Nairaland. I quickly replied and declared my interest in the offer. I was asked to fill an official form which I later reverted back in the right fashion. Three days later, the head of content created an admin account for me and forwarded my account details and I was told to report at their office this morning to conclude the deal.

It was all like a dream until I got to their office and got to realize it wasn't a scam.
I received a charming welcome and the first attack they gave me was by interrogating me on how I get my inspirations from. I just dey laf like one gentle man. I was later given an hour tutorial on how to use their portal

To cut the story short,

A for effort but there's so much I could have done better.

use a different plant that doesn't need a lot of sunlight. I didn't read up much about this jade plant before I got it. It was the smallest succulent I could find in that store and I was tired of lugging baby girl around so I just bought it and left. Besides I was too excited to start already so I didn't want to postpone it any longer. Next time I'll use smaller plants so I can fit more into one bowl and make an actual ecosystem in there instead of a lonely plant all by itself.

Added seashells of aesthetics.

Its absolutely lovely. You are lucky u hv d ease in assembling some of these stuff. Perhaps I don't know where to get simple stuff in lag but sometimes its so much drama for little stuff. Say like identical flower pots at a fair price. I didn't even know where to get them in d first place. I finally had to reach out to a family member who got me simple rubber pots from poundland. I got that little hanging basket too. I'll share some pics really soon.
