My prayer is that her new age treats her the way she treated Nigeria in her politically active years... I don't wish her evil.. I only leave her fate to the mills of karma (good or evil) |

lilvicky68:You have a small mind or you don't understand how the business world works. Is a million naira too big to be owned by a wholesale pepper dealer? Dont estimate the worth of any business by just the daily or onetime earnings from sales. Also look at how long a person has been in a particular line of trade. Many young people think like you do and that's why they overlook a lot of promising Ventures and take to crime or get stuck in poverty and blame the government for not spoonfeeding them. |
This young man is definitely an idiot. People like him end up simps. Disregard the fake show of manliness he's trying to put up. Let nobody waste time replying him. |
Watch how the once craved pudding has become a lethal poison. Before now, the Army used to be a property of the Nothingners which they had sole monopoly of. Insecurity has now changed the narrative and for the first in the history of this zoo, the Army is coming on its knees to get recruits. Every sensible southerner should keep away and watch the owners of the zoo die from the poison others were never allowed to have a bite of. |
ivolt:Go back to basic grammar and brush up from there. "Openly" doesn't necessarily mean publicly. Using his cult membership to intimidate and get the student to have sex with him amounts to an open threat if it was said to her hearing. It wasn't reported to be a covert attempt at sleeping with her, but that in a bid to intimidate her, he told her that he was a cultist in his school days and still maintains ties with the group which he won't shrink from using if she doesn't submit to his randy demands.. I took time to break this down for you knowing that you are struggling with basic comprehension. I recommend books like "Brighter Grammer" to help your effort It's never too late. Cheers |
slachtoffers:The truth will eventually come out. The young won't watch his name tainted if he's innocent. I strongly feel this is a case of transactional sex gone wrong because if it wasn't, I wonder why the student waited till she got pregnant before speaking out. I not denying that many male lecturers are he-goats but also don't forget the games being on them by female students.. I know coercion and subtle threat for sex happens, but going as far as citing his association with cultism is way too much a stress on his part just to have sex. He may have said all that after the girl became pregnant and refused an abortion, but threatening her to such extent just to have sex is really doubtful. |
slachtoffers:Bros/sis, I know and I've heard the konji smitten nonsense a man spews out just for access to the thighs of a woman when that fire below his belly flares up. The reality on ground here is that this lecturer didn't go as far as dishing out threats just to have sex with the student. He may have used coercion but I strongly doubt his use of brute force. The lady in question may have played along with her eyes fixed on the man's money or a marriage but when the odds came against her, she went nuts. If it was rape or anything close to that, why didn't she make a report immediately after the incident but rather waited till she became pregnant.. What we've read so far is only a one sided account from the student and probably on the ill advice of a cheap charge and bail lawyer. Let's wait till the truth emerges fully. |
I'm surprised at how people don't smell lies in this nonsense. No lecturer would openly threaten to victimize a student for not yielding to his sexual demands.. They know the repercussions of that and nobody wants to put his job on the line. I feel the lady in question had an agenda of keeping the man down with pregnancy and when that failed, she took to blackmail. Read the story carefully to the point where he boasted of being a cultist while in school and still maintaining ties with them up till now. Who goes that far? No doubt he was reckless in his affairs but that lady has got some real serious questions to answer. |
Congrats to Granny. Covid 19 isn't a nice way to bid farewell after a 101yrs. You've gone, you've seen and you've conquered. Lesson to all.. Take extreme care of your health in your younger years. Your overall longevity and health in the future depends on how you live today. |
People don't know this man. They think he's weak and inept but he's a political genius. Such a Deadly smooth operator. How me managed to silence every opposition in Enugu state tells a lot about him. If the SE gets a chance at the presidency, he's definitely going there. Mark my words |
nedekid:I know how lawless and incorrigible we are as a people but truth is that this measure is way too hard. This alone is enough to change the economic status of a family for a whole generation. Imagine a commercial driver who's livelihood and those of his family depended on a danfo bus that has been auctioned out. The psychic shock will continue living with many and many drive some to suicide. Fines work better in situations like this. It's a win win for both the Authorities and the offenders. Anybody who continues to violate traffic laws even after paying 50-100k in fine still won't take his lessons after having his vehicle impounded and auctioned. I don't see this from compassion and empathy alone, I also look at the long term consequences on an already ailing system. |
padresolomon:There's a limit to everything. If you punish for a crime or an offence beyond a certain point, you become guilty too. If you feel auctioning the cars isn't enough, then propose a death sentence for traffic offenders and see to it that it gets implemented. My prayer for you is that you put your life savings together and buy a car whether for private or commercial use only for the Authorities to impound and auction it... SAY A BIG AMEN TO THAT. |
nedekid:Bro, I strongly believe that lawfulness is what makes any sane society and I understand you feel measures like this acts as a deterrent to traffic offenders but in every sense of justice, this is too draconian, In saner societies, there's always a way to handle issues like without inflicting heavy psychological pains to an offender. What about heavy fines? What about seizures lasting a couple days or even weeks especially for commercial vehicles? Paying a huge fine say 20-50k serves a lifetime to deter anyone from violating traffic anywhere. Same goes for keeping a commercial vehicle in custody for weeks and putting a temporal halt to one's means of livelihood. This is satanic and no explanation justifies it. |
It takes real coldheartedness to buy any property auctioned under circumstances like this. How do you feel buying an item soaked with tears? I don't blame the authorities after all It takes two to tango. No buyer, No seller. |
Volkswagen90:You don't have to tell me. Those guy are just aliens. They perfect everything they lay their hands on... I won't also forget the Brits and Italians too. While they both aren't on the same technical level as the Germans, I love the class and aesthetic sense of the British and I admire the creativity and originality of the Italian |
All is see is technical superiority. As far back as the forties, Germans had attained such a height of advancement in design. Their supremacy didn't start today... I love class in everything, down to the minutest details of design and that's what the black man needs.. |
This is the worst time to be a zoogerian. The first class citizens of the zoo under the leadership of a cow have been rescued. For every one nothinger stranded abroad, there are thousands from the south. But who cares? The Daura cow is bent on exterminating the insignificant 5%. |
gaegae:Visit any of the secondhand cloth market in lagos and sound out a reliable dealer who's into good quality first grade UK wears (mens preferably). Have a deal with him to allow you be the first to select from a bale and offer him 1k per shirt. With 40k, you should be getting about 40 shirts. Start by selling with a small profit margin say #500 on each shirt. With good marketing, you should exhaust all 40 in a week and make a return to the market.. Start flying from there.. Best wishes |
Where are you based? |
gaius01:Life doesn't work like that. Passion knows no age. It knows no achievement. I don't know the economic strength of the old man or his children but I can tell you that passion for a particular thing keeps one firing well into old age. If you have been close to any old person who's entire sustenance was based on farming, you'd find out that most of them won't abandon their farm for any amount of money.. That's the beauty of passion and I derive so much joy seeing the elderly do what they love not just for mere survival but even in the midst of material comfort afforded them by their children. It's unfortunate he passed on this way. I wish the old man a joyful experiencing on the other side. |
Who still wonders why this country is like this? If her husband had won in 2019, we would have a woman who brings petty trifles like this online as a firstlady... |
Watch the nothingers, sorry I meant northerners fill the battle ground with troops from the south while gworo chewing and burukutu drinking abokis idle their useless lives away in the barracks.. ANYONE FROM THE SOUTH EAST WHO JOINS THE ARMY NOW IS SUBLIMELY FOOLISH. THE ABOKIS AND FOOLANIS MADE THIS WAR WHILE THE AFONJA ASSLICKERS DANCED ROUND THE FIRE. LET THEM CARRY THEIR CROSS. THE NIGERIAN ARMY IS THE ARMY OF THE NORTH. |
The reasons for high divorce rate are few. The average woman loves comfort and once she gets a man who provides it, she'll stay for as long as the bronco keeps providing it. She then moves to secure her territory by banishing other feeders from the trough or at least greatly diminishing their powers. The woman of today only stays when she hasn't perceived even the slightest threat to her comfort. Forget the sweet words and deeds they churn out like grinding mills when things are all smooth and cozy. Just watch her turn to a beast when things go south and you wonder if she was the same woman you walked down the aisle with. |
Kamdil:This is the most foolish thing I've read this year. Her mother in-law dished the first slap and the young woman was supposed to return a smile. Nigerian Mother in -laws take their mad quest for power to their sons homes and always forget the boundary lines..FYI, I'm a single man and when I finally settle, I'm never gonna condone any show of disrespect by wife to my mum but if my mum lowers her bridge of selfrespect, l'd graciously watch her bear the brunt. As for the birthday party squabble that caused this show of shame, the man could have sorted it out with the wife without the nasty mother-in-law getting involved to that point.. |
Seeds that were fed by fertilizers(congregation). The seeds became tall trees while the fertilizers are decomposing into waste to make the trees taller. |
Building from scratch affords you the pleasure of exercising your architectural taste and the priceless sense of involvement. As for which is cheaper, building from the scratch is cheaper when compared to buying from a realtor whose motive is primarily profit. Buying may be cheaper in some cases especially in a distress sale by a previous owner but that belongs to the realm of luck... If you have the time, build from the scratch and be fully involved. It makes you more conversant with your house and you can tackle subsequent technical issues more easily. |
Ignorance is truly a disease but what kills fastest is not thoroughly scrutinizing and revising our beliefs.. Destiny in the way it is used today means an innate ability which when fully harnessed and employed would guarantee an accomplished life in the material sense... A holistic definition transcends material success and wealth....that's an entirely different subject for another day. As to whether sex can corrode our destinies and make us perform below par yields YES and NO as answers. If we proceed on a purely physical and material premise, we find coutless examples of men and women who conduct their sexuality in the most careless and negligent manner but who are high flyers in all walks of life and aren't showing signs of making a touchdown anytime soon. Comb through politics, sports, entertainment, business, civil service right up to the UN, military and even religion, you'll find keyplayers in each of these industries who have been involved in a couple of messy sex scandals and swim through without serious damage to their professional accomplishments right to retirement. ARE THEIR DESTINIES NOT INTACT GOING BY OUR CONVENTIONAL DEFINITION OF DESTINY?.... Irresponsible sexuality surely has a lot of negatives which may manifest in ones private and professional life (DESTINY) since sex involves a mutual exchange of energy and vibrations which can either strengthen or weaken our spiritual and physical health depending on the polarity and qualities of the partners involved.. Sum and substance is that MATERIAL DESTINY ISN'T NECESSARILY A FUNCTION OF SEXUALITY. THE GREATER HARM FROM VIOLATING OUR SEXUALITY IS MOSTLY SUFFERED BY THE SPIRIT. Ask yourself, are all materially successful people chaste and are all materially unsuccessful people impure in their sexual dispositions?.. The most important decisive factors of our earthly success usually range from BIRTH(BACKGROUND) and TRAINING to PERSONAL TRAITS such as DISCIPLINE, HARDWWORK, COMMITMENT, FOCUS, VISION, ORGANIZATIONAL ABILITIES, etc.. This isn't to encourage sexual recklessness. Remember when ones sexual energies are drained through Irresponsible sexuality, such a person may not have the vitality to carry on and Polish his innate abilities which translate to earthly success. As for DESTINY SWAPPING AND STEALING, that's a real hoax. Practice responsible sexuality for sake of your spiritual health and purity of conscience and develop sound personal traits for earthly accomplishment. |
Appreciating the manager with gratitude in this measure is good but announcing to the whole world is childish.. When will people learn to give and not say a word about it? |
Christine Largade... not hoes everywhere. |
Nigeria is a joke. With the youths like this, who sees an end to the messy state of things in this country? Of what worth is this girl to be allowed entry into such an important admin building much more with such a grand reception? I was in the midst of some profoundly foolish youths and expressed my reservations over Nengi's appointment as an SSA to an incumbent governor. I shuddered at the response of fellow youths with whom I protested against SARS and misrule. I was called a hater for not celebrating what was termed her "BLESSING AND FORTUNE". Going by their perceived descriptions of fortune and blessing, are our present crop of leaders not BLESSED and FORTUNATE? Why are we crying foul and demanding an end to misrule? Let's chill, make merry with them and enjoy Nigeria the way they shaped it... Swords will surely come for me but I care nothing . |
Brandonx:Why are you being so mean and devoid of compassion? Life isn't about children. It is primarily about the lives you are able to touch positively be it in your close and distant circles. Offsprings aren't material properties that humans aquire and dispose of at will. Being a parent in the biological sense is never more than providing a physical means through which another human being incarnates for his/her development in creation. Parenting transcends biological procreation and two humans (male &female) with functional reproductive organs will always carry out biological procreation, whether or not they satisfy the noble requirements for responsible parenting. The quality of parenting we give the younger generation is what we take with us at the end of our earthlives. It matters absolutely nothing if our biological children are not represented in the younger generation that we leave undying legacies for. A unfulfilled life isn't a Childless life but a life without a legacy for the coming generations... STRIVE FOR THAT IN ALL YOU DO. As for BANKY and ADESUWA, I wish them the strength to weather the storms of life and achieve their joint task here on earth and leave their footprints on the sands of time. THEY CAN ACHIEVE THIS WHETHER OR NOT THEY HAVE BIOLOGICAL CHILDREN... |
