Page-up:This is what I mean by the negative awareness/education parents unknowingly inculcate in their children and then blame the media afterwards. Thanks for drawing out the dangers of these smart ideas people here think, it's cool! |
Hell, no! What kind of negative awareness/education is that? Why would you want to do that? And for those who support that, and think it's smart - wait let me help you all with your weir-do thinkings and show you how to do it properly! Right, I suggest, you and your wives or husbands first of all: get the family seated in the lounge (for a big family film watch that way, you'd be Westernising them properly) and then, you and your wives or husbands start entertaining them by removing your cloths at the count of: Ready; Steady; Go o o o o!; and when you'd done, grab your Equipment and show it to them. In fact, give it to them to have a good feel of it and give you both their feedbacks, how about that? When they'd done tell them, boys and girls you see, with these equipment I and your mummy/daddy made you all and they'd love you. Secondly, after the first show why not slot in that p o r n movie you bought yesterday, for family relaxation so that everyone is well entertained? That would be a very nice garnishing for a family day, well spent. That way, you would have been very good parents who loves their children very, very, much indeed and you'd win PARENTS OF THE YEAR, I promise you! Try it! Thought you wanted ideas that's a good one, try it! What an Evil imagination! |
We are equal, gorit? Until men get a grip of this, they will never be happy and I thank God, many women are independent and have careers these days! May I use this opportunity to thank my Mum and Dad for sending me to school and I thank myself for having the wisdom and patience to listen to my teacher who helped in moulding my future otherwise, life would have been miserable under these men (I know that now, based on these comments on here ), as the battle between men and women are raging in this our time. At the end of this 'battle of the sexes', we'll know who is going to be the loser obviously, not us. ![]() This equality thing, is important! It might not be important to men but we are not going to relent until our message gets home i.e. sink into men's brains. It's important men respect it for the sake of peace and harmony at home after all, they would be the ones that would need a shelter, a warm bed and an affectionate bosom to lay their big heads on at the end of a hard day, na lie?? It means for the sake of peace, when I and you leave the house at 07.00hr to work - and to return home at about 17.00hr, whoever, gets in the door first, should put the kettle on, right?? No, probs! Reason being, both of us are working hard for the family and after a hard day, both of us are tired. So, we need each others strength for support. For example, you see kitchen business is not only for women but men because, they've got stomach and mouth to eat food too. Therefore, its right if they came in before us to put the kettle on because, we'll need a good cup of tea as we get in, just as we fix you one when we are in before you - so, what's wrong with that?? That's good, isn't it? Equality bring peace and harmony - inequality brings oppression and trouble for the whole family, don't you forget that! Men are not comfortable with the truth because, darkness is never comfortable with the light. The light is the truth and reveals a lot - it show up corners the eyes could not see in the dark. That's why many of you are here complaining because, your wives are resisting your oppressions at home. In my view, it's only insecure men that oppresses their wives and they should stop because, it doesn't pay any one rather, it brings tears for the entire family - treat your wife the way you'd like to be treated, that way you'd have peace and happiness at home and a lasting marriage. But, if you treat your wife like a Master and Slave, be ready - when the Slave gains her freedom, you'll know! I have never seen a secured man that oppresses his wife, they don't have the time to do silly and immature things like that. In fact, a secure men gives his wife the greatest freedom any woman could ever ask for. As far as I'm concerned, some men should get a grip else, they will be left outside like an old and battered truck because, women have got power these days and remember, the world is moving forward and not backwards - your choice, not ours. |
Are people still going on, on this woman's blunder But, she is not a Head of State, is she? So, what's the heck?Even Margaret Thatcher in her days as British Prime Minister made an un-forgiveable blunder when she was announcing the birth of her first grand child to the World Press in 1988 or so she said, "We are a grandmother". How about that from a Head of State? I now challenge you trouble makers to check that one out and see whether she was strangled for it maybe, this your childish attitudes will end now. It doesn't matter all, what's important is, communicating meaning to the the receiver - and the world understood her so, you all can go now and chill. After all, Margaret Thatcher, Tony Blair, David Cameron and their wives can not speak any Nigerian language, yes? So, what makes you think English language is 'Heaven' and your language isn't? The obvious reason is, Nigerians are still suffering from inferiority complex. Everything Oyibo is better in fact, the Tokumbo effect/complex is still with us, sorio o o o o o o o o o o! Some even claimed English language is almost Nigerian first tongue, really? Because, we were colonised by the British and we use the language in our schools, that made us English, is it? After all, is Nigeria the only Country colonised by the British ![]() Well, let me inform you all, there are further 46 Countries or more the British colonised who do not speak or use English the way our sister even tried - people from those countries are even worse! India, Pakistan, Malaysia etc don't even try therefore, let's move on because it is not important! |
oludashmi:Well, it's your prerogative but this is mine. It seems you can not see that there is some thing lacking in their spiritual lives. And, that the family is in trouble hence this destruction, I wonder! Our God is a God of peace. A God that not only love peace, tranquillity and harmony but also prescribed the same for us. In any environment whether in the context of family, organisation or Country, these are the hallmarks of stability and development - without peace, there is no stability and certainly no development, gorit? That is why, in a war zone, you only get destruction instead of, the THREE TOWERS of New York (unfortunately we no longer have that now due to evil again, destruction!), or EIFFEL TOWER in France and the BIG BEN in London, ok!!! These are World Land marks built in peace time - not war! But, who would build and develop in a war zone? As you said, even those blessed with maturity still need a peaceful environment to think out ideas on how to deal with the situation we are here arguing about. As you can see, all the roads now leads to Rome = PEACE! This family doesn't seem to have that right now, do they? Then, how would they grow and develop? I attach deeper meaning to this, when I say 'grow and develop' not in literal sense, please! Satan like chaos and destruction, yes? This is it, the way this family is going right now can't you see that? Thus, their spiritual life needs to be in tandem with God's Will and for them to achieve that, the devil in this family that is stiring up these troubles has to be defeated and trashed into the abyss - that way, they will have peace. Therefore, no amount of wisdom (even if, borrowed from King Solomon) will resolve this because, families have people with different dynamics - some difficult and some very difficult to deal with therefore, need a touch of the Holy Spirit in their hearts to change them otherwise, it will crop up again somewhere/sometime in the future and you and I will be here (or similar website in future) not only reading about them but also arguing the points all over again. FOR PEACE, TRANQUILLITY AND HARMONY belongs to God! So, they must seek God for peace! And, for those of us who love peace at least, let's remember this family in our prayers tomorrow, if you can. |
occam:Thanks, good man! Ignore those who are whiter than the whites themselves. They think English is their forefathers tongue! One could obviously sense some peoples jealousy in their comments here and, I wonder if it were their mothers, sisters and aunties how better could they use English language therefore, I say, go on Mrs Jonathan, enjoy your position. |
This is sad! For a family to tear themselves up this way, is really sad. Satan will always try to destroy anything good God has made and, he usually succeeds through a weak (i.e. physically, mentally, emotionally, psychologically and spiritually weak) family member, it's a pity. But, with God everything is possible! Just have faith in him you will triumph! We all understand that this essay here is not only touching but heart breaking however, we also know that there are two sides to every story, don't we? Dora has not said hers yet. Therefore, we reserve our judgement. And for those who criticise the write-up above, take it easy in your criticisms! Remember, this family is going through emotionally and psychologically traumatic phase in their lives, for them to come here to open their hearts to the world is a cry of desperation. Perhaps through years, months, weeks, days, hours, minutes and, seconds of time had tried to make peace among themselves but failed woefully thus, decided this is the only medium to get each others attention to that end therefore, cease your criticisms and stop adding salt to injury. For it does not pay anyone to kick someone who is already on the ground, does it?HuhHuh? So, sympathise with this family's plight instead of helping to destroy it with silly remarks on here. This family is emotionally, psychologically and spiritually suffering, just help with your God driven advice and support the best you can, please! Yes, they hadn't ask for our help on here but a person created by God, you naturally have it in you to help others in whichever way you can so, do it in order to save the lost souls in this family. The devil is at work here and we should all try to stop satan and his agents in his destruction of this family via our godly and peaceful advice/support. For my support, I suggest this family first of all seek spiritual help and that's the only way to destroy satan and his people. Seek God first, take your problems to him and he would resolve it! Seek help though his highly spiritually gifted and humble Apostles (not those that made/call themselves bishops please, no!) There are many highly gifted Apostles in the world today, you don't look for them but beware of the wolves out there too!!!!! That's all I can say and may God bring eternal peace to your family in Jesus Name, Amen!!! |
Hey, what are we talking and criticising about here? English language and it's grammar, abi? But, who cares if her grammar isn't perfect? Or is she being criticise because, she is the wife of a Head of State? What about former Nigerian Presidents, knowing they represent us on International platform yet, could not put sentences together and talk of use of grammar? As a President, Obasanjo could not use English language properly, coupled with his serious lack of etiquette = Zooch! Did anyone see him drink garri on the Net some months ago? If you haven't, well, I suggest you look for it and then tell me that's the kind of President you want to represent Nigeria's interests in the world. And for that reason, I suggesting anyone with money to set up 'School of Etiquettes' for these Head of States, their Ministers and wives to attend before they could take Office that, would help them a lot and stop this kind of criticisms. Until them please, stop criticising! We are doing well with the toughest language in world to learn, English language - A language made up of several languages - there is French in it, there is German in it and, there is Latin in it as well. But hey, can the English speak any Nigerian Language They are the worst and laziest at learning other people's language and we are here criticising our sister who is even more perfect in the use of the language than most local English men/woman, I know. Oh please, stop it!!!! And since you think, this woman is not good at using this 'heavenly supreme' language called English, have you considered how other citizens of Europe use and write English I mean both educated and illiterates among them e.g. have you heard the Polish, Russians, Ukrainians, French, Slovakians, Turkish , Spanish etc speak and write this heavenly language we'll all be speaking in Heaven when we get there. So, think about it when you set out on your journey of criticisms. And for those looking for perfection, remember, we all have our respective faults and weaknesses, too! |
Champions of Evil Thinking!!!! What else could Nigerians be good at, if not creative negative thinking, what else? The blame is not really on us but our evil leaders who have plunged the country into poverty thereby causing severe suffering for people. Yes, I feel for people in Nigerian in their struggle to survive each day thereby involving themselves in all sorts of evil doings and, that's not an excuse! But, what excuses have those abroad with better opportunities e.g. free education, quality Health care, chances of employment and business set-ups than those at home yet, they are into evil doing, why Ambition + greed = Evil! We let our ambitions and greed get the best of us if not, why 360 fake marriages paying £15,000 per short? 'Cause, we are not contented with what we have and we don't really want to be rich, we want to be extra ordinarily soaking in it so that, it can come our of our eyes, ears, noses and a r s e s, how about that? ![]() That's causing us a lot of pain and, why so many are dying of unheard of diseases we never used to have in this country. Today in Nigerian, imagine the prevalence of High blood pressure, cva (i.e. stroke), ca and not to talk of HiV aids which in fact, is another story and in part, self inflicted but, with exceptions. That tells it all - our ambitions are killing us because, we want to be like the Jones', we worry and start thinking evil like this lawyer thief and his accomplice vicar now, serving it. I hope they rut there but knowing the British legal system they won't suffer in fact, will be out soon on parole and, with all their loots not really touched yet, another dent on Nigerian's name. |
Akan:How do you me? You just wrote, 'just make sure say u no vex us'? Well, anyone might perceived it as generalising but, tell me how much more bad and horrible news shall we expect from that zone? Imagine you warning and threatening me, a person you no know - say, make I no vex una? You see, na dey thing wey I dey talk be dat. So, you slaughter peoples head or you do them bad thing because, dey vex u, abi? Abeg o o! |
W h a t Another Akwa Ibom again W h y ? It seems people from this area are naturally evil or should I say understand nothing else, but evil. But hey, before you jump out of your pram criticising my work as 'generalising', tell me, when did we last hear of something good from this area? Excuse me, you can't say it can you? There you have it!!!! Not long ago we read about a 40yr old Akwa Ibom man sexually abused his 12yr old daughter over several years and in the process, made her pregnant and gave police, a senseless excuse for doing so. Now, tell me how good is that news Imagine, he became the judge, the jury and the executioner under one umbrella, yeah ? He is the father, the grand father and the great grand father (i.e. both paternal and maternal sides) of the baby when he/she eventually, arrives. Abi?? Has anyone thought about that evil? Now, consider that a super good news if you still can't see that, that zone in Nigeria is riddled with demonic characters. It's tragic they target women only - the weak ones and what about men, ah? Hmmm! THIS IS EVIl! I sorry for those wey dey go there marrio o o. May, God have mercy on us! |
Hmmm! Governor Fashola, a beg make I ask o o? Na only Churches this decree is talking to? Or na all religious groups in Lagos State e.g. Christians, Muslems, Hindus etc. I hope na all idey talk to o o o that way, igobi fair decree and not discriminatory, abi? Think it's time Churches and Mosques both shut down their amplifiers for good, don't you reckon? Or is the law, tipping one side here in favour ooooooooooof----- ![]() Because, it is said that Allah is a fair and just God - na lie?? Remember, if the decree no fair God go vex o o o and judge the person wey pass am o o. Im reward go dey wait for heaven when im get there. So, I suggest you check dey decree again o o o and make am straight where idey rumble o o o so igo dey straight and equal o o o, before you put am on the Bill board and dey Big Book of law for we wretched folks to look o o o . Because, my take na fairness and justice for all, maka ndi uta na elu igwe, biko o o o! For Nigerians don sofa too much injustice na aka ndi nachi achi, enof na enof! |
manneger:Did you say, 1st Versity degree presido? How do you mean? Don't think that's quite correct. Thought Nigeria had a few back in her previous life - the likes of Late Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe and, Late Yar Adua, abi? Please, correct me if I'm wrong - I think both were highly educated men in their own rights. So how come our memories so short in remembering these things? Well, if we would forget I'm sure history will not therefore, it would be nice to set the record straight, don't you reckon? |
Aigbofa:Quite right bro, quite right and I hear you, peace now - I promise! But remember, I did not start this. I was just an innocent bystander when this satan decided I was his target but hey, I flushed him out down the drains like a flash, silly! Please, warn these little silly school bullies who think they can intimidate to submission, any female on here - glad he'd noticed the difference - Ignorant! He think he has a monopoly over knowledge hence, the gut to correct my essay - how dare him? And who say people should/must think through his chicken brain and use his words to compose what he consider, an appropriate essay, silly! But if there's a need to correct people, why not do it in a civil and polite way? There's no need to be rude, as no one has a monopoly over knowledge on here. This only shows his stupidity. 'You miss the point', he said as if he was telling his little sister, how rude? Silly, thing! Anyway, thanks for your godly intervention and because of you I'm taking a truce now, it could be permanent. |
Princek12:Hello o o o! What gender are you? Male or Female? Anyway, let's focus. You see, I don't know where you got your education and it wouldn't surprise me at all, but all I am saying is, you lack skills in these areas: a) Imagination = 0%, b) Logical ability = 0%, c) Common sense = 0% but remember, it's common not everyone has it and that's obvious in you. d) Over all report = a dunce! Therefore, if you care about your image and self esteem go tidy up these loose ends, right? And, when you get back kiss my a r s e and say thanks! What a woman handbag? |
Princek12:Ambiguous and vague? No, check the link from another thread where it all began it was loud and clear, only the blind and those lacking logical mind and imagination (i.e. in simple terms: 1 +1 = 2) and common sense to fathom out ideas on here would find it difficult to analyse things correctly, and it seems you are in that category. But who said, I must use your term 'mental laziness' to communicate an idea when I meant some thing different, altogether. I used the word 'laziness' in its literal sense to mean anything e.g. physical, mental etc. Again, your lack of imagination/logical skills obviously, prevented you from noticing the word 'brainlessness' in that thread - a jargon I use to describe our leaders inability to think critically for Nigeria's future. You didn't notice that, did you? No! What you saw was, intimidating and bullying me to use the word you consider appropriate instead, sorio o o o! You came to the wrong door! Again, try and develop logical skills it will do your confused mind much good beside, this is a forum and not a medium for analysing intelligence - gorit |
Princek12:And what's my point? You too are missing the point in my post. Why is that some people on here are quick at critiquing other's work instead of developing their own analytical skills before jumping the pram. Perhaps, it was an over-sight on your side therefore, I suggest you re-read the post then you would realise, that intelligence is equally 'mental power'. Intellectually bankrupt or lack of intelligence can only suggest one thing - one lacking mental ability to do something. So, where did I go wrong? It is because, I did not use your word - mental laziness? Oh, too bad! And, may I ask, what's the difference between 'mental laziness and intelligence? And where are both located? In our bottoms or in the brain, mind and memory? The three have to function together to enable the intelligence that feeds our mental ability/power to perform. Please, you guys should get a life here!!!!!!! After all, light minded people understood exactly what I was trying to communicate here except you and the likes therefore, keep critiquing until the cows come home because, only you knows your bug - I don't! |
Don't every Nigerian knows this fact? Why wait for Ribadu to say it. I even mentioned it somewhere in one of my posts yesterday and didn't have to wait for Ribadu to tell me about the laziness of our so called leaders , including himself. What does he think he would do differently if he gets there? All their laziness and idleness have led to all sorts evil popping out in Nigeria today. People developing all sorts of creative negative thinking in order to survive the hardship they imposed on Nigerians. So, do we really need this man to tell us what we already know? And if we do then, we too are emotionally/physically and intellectually bankrupt as them therefore, should stop complaining when the leaders are under performing. |
ElRazur:Oh thanks for your correction! Actually, what I was trying to communicate here (as shown in the highlighted part of your post) is the link between burnt/charred foods (not necessarily smoked foods though they can cause ca, as you've testified) to carcinogens/development of full ca in human bodies. Understand there are other factors to consider when discussing this issue e.g. lifestyle, environs, hereditary etc - that's what I was trying to inform (but ended up focusing on hereditary, as if the only factor) so that people will be mindful on how they live their lives. Anyway, its all about informing and educating people and not about our expert knowledge in this field sure, everyone has their own area of speciality, don't you reckon!. |
redsun:God bless you for speaking the truth! You see, our people are creative thinkers but what kind of creative thinking do we do? We are creative negative thinkers that's what we do best. We are always thinking of how to take advantage of things, people and situations. We are opportunists, always on the look out for better chances and this is because, we are highly ambitious but also very insatiable people - we never get enough!. Yes, you can say that again, "The only thing we do best with our resources is evil". Once we have that resource and the power that goes with it, we use it to subdue, intimidate, control, maim and to some extreme ends kill without a blink of an eye yet, we forget there is judgement one day. One only have to look at the state of the Country - decades have gone by since independence yet, Nigerians are still suffering and this has led to so many worms in the Can in this Country why, when we are so blessed? Because of greed, corruption, lack of foresight, laziness and brainlessness (hey, my jargon!) of our useless leaders leading Nigerians into creative negative thinking on how to survive this imposed hardship by our leaders. Thus, we are good at nothing but creative negative thinking - and that's what we do best, period! |
Yes, that's absolutely correct! It can and not only tongue cancer but all sorts of cancers due to the Carbon content in the food. Smoked foods are toxic and carcinogenic therefore, people should be careful especially, those with history (i.e. hereditary) of ca. in their family. This is because, carbon can easily reactivate or trigger dormant ca cells in their bodies thereby causing this horrible disease. Hope people understand and, try to keep away from such foods especially when there's a history in your family. We know it's tough/difficult to do when most of our foods are smoked based e.g. smoked dry fish/crayfish, smoked bush meat, smoke yams/plantains, goat meat (burnt skin), cow legs, kpomo, suya etc but for your life, you have to try and keep away from them as there are other satisfying foods one could eat. |
Yeah, police will blame their inefficiency and incompetencies on any one, won't they Blame the GSM Companies when they hadn't made much efforts in finding out from their counterparts all over the world on how they deal/tackle their own criminal issues in this our modern time - our technologically advanced world, instead of moaning. Get the government to support the GSM Companies (if they're serious about crime prevention in this Country), by investing money in the technology that way crime will reduce, but it won't disappear because, human beings are still on this planet and thinking and planning evil even as they sleep. |
zebra543:Excuse me, no need to abuse, ok! You see, it seems you lost the point and you have a problem reading long essays hence, lack of comprehension. You only understand things from a literal point of view and I ask, whatever happened to your skills of critical analysis/judgement before jumping into conclusions and abuse? Yes, it might not reflect your need as an individual but at least 70% of adults in the world today would rather have their own children than without/adopt and thus, differ from your views. Certainly, they would vouch it is an ambition or a life time achievement for them and, that sums up the fact. So, why this attack when you could argue reasonably without insults. However, if you don't want children that's ok but, many people do and some are on it as I type this. Yes or no? And, that's the reason even you, yourself is on this planet earth - you family wanted you and that's why you're here. Based on this, you have actually answered the question you are trying to avoid or rubbish. On the same token, I admit having my children/raising them is the greatest achievement I ever made and they are very important to me - if not that, what else? It is one of the things in life I derive pleasure from, knowing they are here healthy and doing well. The greatest investment I could ever ask for - not material wealth e.g. not money in the bank, not fleets of cars and properties all over the world etc, no! Sure, the same applies to most people even the poster otherwise, why are we here discussing this thread? My happiness in life is my family and that's why I'm here supporting the poster to fulfil that need the best way he/she can. Secondly, it seems you have issues with my citations and if they are a worry for you, sorry! They are only here for reassurance - to reassure the poster that even if he/she could not achieve having his/her own children, not to take it personal because God has blessed him/her in other ways, simple. Again, if you lack comprehension of ideas please, I suggest you read widely to broaden your mind instead of attacking people's commentaries on here. |
Go for it! But what do we all need in life? Is not to be happy and fulfilled? Having your own child is the greatest achievement that could ever happen to us all. The greatest investment one could ever have made and, the most rewarding/emotional fulfilment we could ever ask for - our own seeds. But hey remember, Gods gifts to us all are different. Just as he gave some the gift of prophecy, the gift of serving others, the gift of encouraging others, the gift of contributing to the needs of others, the gift of leadership etc (Romans 12 v. 6- so, does God decide who could have children and who can not. He also, gave the gift of wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, distinguishing between spirits, speaking in different kinds of tongues and interpretation of tongues - to different people (1 Corinthians 12 v. 7-11). So, you can see it's not by our might/power or wealth rather, God blesses us in different ways thus, his gifts are given just as God determines it.Therefore, if we are not given the gift of the fruit of the womb as a result, we are unable to have our own and, we have tried and exhausted every possible avenue to do so by ourselves then, with the particular gift we are given e.g love, wealth, empathy, advocacy etc we should use it to help others just as you are planning to do - that way, we would feel happy and fulfilled in our lives. Personally, my support for adoption are for those unlucky babies/children who have no one for help and whose natural parents abandoned/died and not these modern days extreme ideas of adoption/having children via other people, no! For they are satanic devices and one could see how, some people who have followed such schemes end up in tears and heart broken instead of joy and happiness. Therefore, by giving someone else's child a chance in life - by loving, caring and nurturing them just as you would your own you are blessed but, you don't know it. I could hear some people on here argue but, they might not remember you? But who can guarantee your own seeds would? Any child you raised will always remember, some even would remember, love and care for you more and better than your own children would. For encouragement, I suggest you write to people who have experienced your situation and even the stars who have had similar experiences (e.g. Nicol Kidman and Tom Cruise, Angelina Jolley and Brad etc through their agents/websites but, remember they may reply/may not and knowing how important this is for you, it's worth trying and nothing is lost if they don't). So, go for it - give a child a chance in life, your reward is in heaven! But, shiiiiiiiiiii be quiet you never know, this adoption of a baby you are planning, could trigger in both of you the fertility hormones that would produce your own children as it did for Iman (Somalian model) and and her current husband, David Bowie in their pursuit of a second child. Though, they did not actually adopt a child but by frequently baby sitting their friends babies and children, Iman claimed helped kicked her fertility hormones into action and she conceived naturally and was able to be a mother again at the age of 45yrs or so - there you have it, you never know. But whatever happens, do not relent in your prayers as God who make impossibilities, possible will open the way for both of you. Good luck with your decisions! |
Akobaje:Yes, its possible but don't expect everyone to. Yes, one can forgive an error if the person is unaware of what he/she is doing - not when they knew what they were doing. For example, if a man/woman went off and slept with another person - would they argue they never knew he/she does not look like their husband/wife ?? Obviously, they knew and had a choice not to do it but independently chose to do it. So, how can I cope with that?My husband had a choice and the woman in front of him is not me - was it in the dark that he couldn't recognise that this woman does not in any ways bear resemblance of me e.g. my hairstyle, smell of my perfume, my bosoms and when he was kissing those lips, they did not feel soft/succulent and voluptuous as mine and then talk of my voice - boy, no excuse here o o o. He chose to do it and he's done however, I can't cope. Secondly, if women are now competing seriously with men in this aspect - too bad. But I for one, would never do such a thing whether for revenge o o o or to prove myself o o o - no matter the situation I can't but, there won't be any more loving from me to him - that's all I know. Glad you are here eloquently saying that Nigerian women are deeply into this wicked behaviour - not in terms of revenge to a wayward husband but for their own gratifications - that's very bad indeed. But remember, our men taught the women. When a man takes another man's wife or daughter into a hotel room for his gratification, what does he expect when his wife/daughter are taken by another sugar daddy to the same place? Men should ask themselves this question and answer it sincerely. It's all good, its all good, isn't it?? So, society has come to a point when a husband and wife can no longer trust each other in marriage then, what's the point of getting married in the first place when you could just drag any man/woman you fancy and make a couple of babies with them (assuming that's your need) thus, forget about marriage. You see, some time ago I presented this argument on here "that Nigerian women are as promiscuous as their men" but was jealously attacked by some ignorants here and now you are eloquently confirming this point. God bless you! You have an Eagle eye and that's special. So, I was not lying but those trying to shut me up were but, they can't. Anyway, that's my answer to your query but turning the table on this issue of marital infidelity, how would you plead? |
bawomolo:If Oga don't want to be left in the cold, he shouldn't trash his family into pieces, should he? That's my take! Whether na Oga's ownam o o o and whether it cost ten billion o o o, Oga go still stay in the dog house until such time when every letter in our agreement is read and analysed by the experts then, we will all be happy. His loss, not mine. |
eldee:Our God, is a God of Fairness and Justice hence the commandment, "Thou shall not commit adultery", and you did. Yes, in relation to unfaithfulness God hate divorce, no doubts [Malachi 2:16] and on the same token, justified divorce (Matthew 5: 31) on only one ground - this topic we all are dealing with on here - 'infidelity or unfaithfulness'. So, your argument doesn't hold at all and I don't blame you because, you are not of the Faith, you would have known. If you analyse Christ teachings well, you'd realise that cases were dealt with, in their own contexts - contexts under which they happened. Listen, it means - you don't work in Ibadan and head off to England to claim your salary, got it? Therefore, don't generalise based on what you're fed, just read the Bible to substantiate your arguments. No, point arguing over something that is unrelated to the issues we are dealing with on here. We are talking about infidelity or unfaithfulness and it's consequences and I'm sure those who have been victims understands the impact though, not from a Nigerian perspective as they can throw anything on woman - not in the West anyway, and I thank God for that! And may God bless the suffragettes for giving us a mouth in challenging evil domination of men You mentioned about "Turning the cheek". Turning the cheek is about forgiveness and forgiveness is an individual thing. Forgiveness is the hardest thing for individuals to do but tell me, how many more times would Nigerian women forgive these wayward husbands who understands the commandments yet, knowingly/purposely trash it? How many more times? Because, you seem a naturally forgiving person doesn't qualify you in condemning others who might need God's grace and guidance in this aspect. Please, don't judge! Personally, I will forgive but I won't cope with it. For there's a difference between forgiving and coping with the aftermaths. I haven't got that patience and I know my limits. For me, forgiving means: yes, we're still friends, I will still look out for you but, there's no emotional ties or connection left in me for you - It means I don't love you no more! So, tell me of what use would it be sticking together just to please the neighbours, family and society in general when either of us are not happy?? Is marriage not meant for two happy people that truly love themselves? To, me a cheat will always be a cheat because, a leopard never changes its spot. Once, a man/woman slept outside his/her marital bed with another person they'd do it all over again but I'm saying sorry, to the unassuming husband/wife. For me, you don't stand a chance of deceiving/hurting me the second time - no chance! |
bawomolo:Yes, like a flash of light he's gone! I won't have my children watching the ensuing 'Drama' under this roof and get abused as a result, ok!! No, they won't watch it, he's gone for good!!! ![]() |
oyinda.:Thanks Oyinda! You see, it doesn't really matter our 'Faith' whether Christian o o o, Muslim o o o, Hinduism o o o Buddhist o o o etc - what matters is that, all over the world people believe worship some thing, some thing they believe is supremely powerful than any thing imaginable and that is our God Almighty - maker of Heaven and Earth. Whether we believe in him or not - there is judgement and we will be answerable! So, let's keep supporting evil and committing adultery pretending that it's superficial soon, we will find out, won't we? |
papa190:Never mind, you'd get use to it, buddy! |
