Chuxx84: Good evening nairalanders. Please I need advice/opinions on this issue at hand. Why is it your Wife telling you about your Mum? don't you have a mind of your own? I have been taking care of my mother since before I got married, I have other brothers older and younger but they are not financially buoyant. (So they claimed) I did not mind this but kept on caring for her ( house rent, feeding, other bills).
Although it's a burden to me, but she is my mother. Now my wife suggest that any money I want to give to her should pass through her (I will send to my wife then she sends to my mother) or she does the sending and I later pay her back.
Her claim is my mother is fetish with my money. I'm confused can this be true? Sometimes my mother will make simple money request my wife would say I should ignore her. She says she is taking me for a fool. I am beginning to get tired of this whole thing. Please help with advice or opinions.
Thanks. |

Only fake folks feel the need to start faking phony phone calls. internationalman: Girls who do this are mostly teenagers and early twenties..
To date girls like those na wahala. You go correct them tire..
Simple solution is to look for a female friend to fake call you and pour out loving words to you with the phone on loudspeaker while she listens in the conversation. But pretend to be feeling uneasy by asking her to stop that your girlfriend is around that you love her too much and you don't want to ruin your relationship with her.
Secondly fake a WhatsApp chat with another person masquerading as a girl. Make sure the picture on the profile is prettier than your girlfriend's. In the chat make sure the person pleads with you to leave your girlfriend for her with promises of doing anything for you just to date her.
Let your girl see the chat but only accidentally..
This used to work for me like magic. You should see how my girl then was feeling insecure wanting to know where I was all the time.
That's how I restored my power in the relationship then.. Relationship is game of emotion and manipulation. |

Its women that ve done no self work, that re not self aware that u will pull that ur stupid stunt. What do you want? Is what you want worth wanting with what it comes? Whatever you do, don't try to change the behavior of another adult human being based on your preference. That question, "Are you jealous" feels pregnant with meaning. But try not to get lost in assuming what She may mean by it. Rather, try answerig the question honestly, to yourself first. "Are you jealous?" Whatever the answer is let that be your answer, then hear what She has to say. Based on this, you should have an idea what you ought to do. But in plain english, if you don't like a woman who easily gives out Her number to random guys, then you should probably delete Her number from your phone and affection for Her in your plans. Alexgman1: My so called fiancee is fond of giving out her number without stress or restrain to any man who ask from her. I noticed this anonying and dis-respectful habit since last year December.
Different people (male) will call her anytime and mostly late in the evening or midnight and she would still pick their calls in my presence, talk softly, smile and even laugh out loud at their jokes and sweet words.
She has given out her contact to guys on facebook, on the streets, in the vehicle, eatery, church, place of work, market, you name it and they disturb her every now and then because of her extreme fairness, beauty, elegance, prettiness and sexy shape. I have endured and tolerated so much for long and am loosing my patience and value for her. All that comes out of her is; "Am i jealous?"
Pls what should i do?
Warn her seriously?
Quit the relationship? Or
Continue to observe and keep quiet? |

Whether it's against a black, white , brown, yellow or red person. Racism is racism, damn it!! BRATISLAVA: Hopefully all those crying racism over a woman who isn't even truly black will feel happy. You guys love bandwagons and the feeling of being "woke" more than you understand what you really want.
Only on this forum you hear that all white people are "bloody racists" and scheming against blacks day and night, nevermind that sounds very racist like what they try to condemn.
The perpetual Nigerian victimhood in a land where there are more whites than blacks, but they enjoy the privilege of the opposite when they are in Nigeria. The irony. Never once does it cross their minds that people just don't like people and it isn't always about their color.
Don't worry, all the whites will vacate their seats so that you can feel superior. It won't be racism. Your race will deserve it, just like theirs felt they do. The unending cycle.
What really do angry blacks want from whites? Heal, so that you don't filter everything through your wounds.
If you don't have salient points, don't quote with black superiority BS or the usual balderdash. |

Have you been there to show your social skills ? It's beyond their social skills. Let's start with the fact that they have relocated from a highly communal society to a highly individualistic one. 79733139: Most of them didn't develop their social skills. They basically don't know how to make friends and they don't know how to approach (and take rejections) the opposite sex.
In Nigeria, their social life was structured and for guys, money might have played a big issue in dating. However, in western countries, you need to be proactive about your social life and having money doesn't give you a big edge when it comes to dating.
We also have Nigerian females who believe women shouldn't try and approach a guy to spark his interest. |

Oh please! You sound bitter. Like you prefer news that supports your all round negative perception of the country and its people. Talking about "those IVY League schools" blah blah blah... You obviously don't even know what 'IVY league schools' are, even though you think you do. If you doubt me -just 'google' it. Mtcheew. KingAzubuike: Just watch how because of this lonewolf incidence, Nigerians will come out to say Nigerians are the most intelligent in the world.. We too like hyping ourselves. I can't forget an argument I had with someone claiming Nigeria has the best army in the world.. I was like wtf!. Where do these clowns get their misinformation from.
I remember some years back, a school in the north (name withheld) invited the university of cape Town for a competition. Capetown sent anyhow students just to at least fulfil all righteousness and not disappoint. They got defeated. Next thing, the northern students started bragging on social media that they are a far better school than cape Town lol.
Back to the topic, competitions like these, you don't expect premium attendance. Those Ivy league schools don't get time for such and even if they do, they just send some of their less serious students to attend. Nigerians on the other hands will send the best of the best to compete and at the end of the day start beating their chest over mediocrity. |

One of the most reasonable comments I've read on Nairaland today. Well said. Charmingrascal: Nothing but the truth.
When I was a little boy I used to go Fulani settlements with my Dad sometimes we boarded canoes to take us across big rivers just to get to them. My Dad is an health worker and the Fulanis preferred his services so they were always calling him when there were sick people. (He did house service, my papa like money. Lol) and the Fulanis had money too, legitimate money made from selling their cows, grains and birds/chickens. Those days Fulani were nice people, I would always get maishan (very sweet butter/oil like stuff) and many other things, they were so nice and lovely people. As secluded as their settlements were we never got scared of going there, they stayed inside thick forest but we still felt safe with them As a young boy I always said I would marry a Fulani lady because they were so beautiful, friendly and nice people.
I am talking about 14 to 15 years ago.
What went wrong? F*ck!
Modified: I think those killer Fulanis that started terrorising Nigerians are not Nigerian and Buhari's failure to decisively deal with them led to the escalation of their killings and that also encouraged some Nigerian Fulanis to join them. Fulani groups that are suppose to condemn the killers were also being biased in their judgement, instead of fishing out the foreigners that are killing people among them, they decided to allow tribal sentiment overshadow their sense of reasoning.
If Miyetti Allah had chastised them instead of covering up for them things would not have escalated to this extent, also I will blame Buhari for not taking decisive action.
It is not too late Miyetti Allah should tell Nigerians among them not to join those foreigners in perpetrating crime, they should urge them to fish out the killers among them and the government should not be biased in handling this Fulani issue, Buhari or whoever is in charge of the affairs of the Nation should be decisive in dealing with these Intruders. |

Smoking weed is a crime under Nigerian Law, in case you dont know. Yes, many successful people smoke weed, AND unsuccessful people too. Hence my point that your bringing success into the 'argument' was and is still irrelevant. candygist: Please tell me a place in Nigeria constitution that says smoking is a crime ?
