saaphiere: Never leave your girl child with any man be it her father.
Maybe you should also say we should never leave any child with their mother since a woman in the north recently matcheted her children? This are unfortunate event that might stem from different causes; most time, mental sickness. What I can advise is vigilance and we must never dismiss any sign of mental illness in any family member
THE ASABA MASSACRE; I THE WORLD SHOULD NOT FORGET In August 1967, three months into the Biafran War, Biafran troops invaded the Midwest Region, to the west of the River Niger. They spread west, taking Benin City and reaching as far as Ore, where they were pushed back by the Nigerian Second Division, under the command of Col. Murtala Muhammed. The Federal troops gained the upper hand, and forced the Biafrans back to the Niger, where they crossed the bridge back into the Biafran city of Onitsha, which lies directly across from Asaba. The Biafrans blew up the eastern spans of the bridge, so that the Federal troops were unable to pursue them. The Federal troops entered Asaba around 5 October, and began ransacking houses and killing civilians, claiming they were Biafran sympathisers. Reports suggest that several hundred may have been killed individually and in groups at various locations in the town. Leaders summoned the townspeople to assemble on the morning of 7 October, hoping to end the violence through a show of support for "One Nigeria." Hundreds of men, women, and children, many wearing the ceremonial akwa ocha (white) attire paraded along the main street, singing, dancing, and chanting "One Nigeria." At a junction, men and teenage boys were separated from women and young children, and gathered in an open square at Ogbe-Osowa village. Federal troops revealed machine guns, and orders were given, reportedly by Second-in-Command, Maj. Ibrahim Taiwo, to open fire. It is estimated that more than 700 men and boys were killed, some as young as 12 years old, in addition to many more killed in the preceding days. The bodies of some victims were retrieved by family members and buried at home. But most were buried in mass graves, without appropriate ceremony. Many extended families lost dozens of men and boys. Federal troops occupied Asaba for many months, during which time most of the town was destroyed, many women and girls were raped or forcibly "married," and large numbers of citizens fled, often not returning until the war ended in 1970. The total death toll during early October was in excess of 1,000, although the exact numbers will likely never be known.
Suspect Ibrahim B. Haruna has sometimes been named as the officer who ordered the massacre, following a report of his testimony to the Nigerian Human Rights Violations Investigations Commission, known as the Oputa Panel.[1] This article quoted him as claiming responsibility (as the commanding officer) and having no apology for the atrocity. However, Haruna was not present in Asaba in 1967. He replaced Murtala Muhammed as C.O. of the Second Division in spring 1968. While there are no eye-witness reports of Muhammed ordering the killings, he was the Commander in the field, and thus must bear responsibility.
DO YOU STILL WONDER WHY NIGERIA SCHOOLS UNDER THIS CONQUISTADORS DON'T TEACH HISTORY?
seunmsg: Another Igbo writer attacking the Vice President unnecessarily. If you want to attack Garba Shehu, do it with your chest and leave the Vice President out of your misery.

Despirado121: Following the collapse of the marriage of the former minister of aviation Femi Fani-Kayode to beauty queen Precious Chikwendu, a video of the ex-minister praising his wife on her birthday in May has been culled up on social media, Igbere TV reports.
In the video, Mr Fani-Kayode expressed appreciation to Chikwendu also known as Snowwhite, urging her to speak on how it feels to be a year older.
Appearing hesitant initially, she said it feels good to be a year older but that she wanted to remain forever young.
Who noticed their body language there? Who noticed the girl can't look him in the eyes or keep a a gaze for sometime? They aren't free at that point. Like that video was done yo manage an issue
Robbery is a bad phenomenon. Have you been robbed before? Share your experiences.
Mine:
1. Armed robbers on highway.
Plying Makurdi road to Jos, we were accosted in Maraba. The very bondary between Nassarrawa and Benue.
I remember the silent cries of women and children alike.
These robbers just opened fire on our vehicle because it seemingly looked like the driver was disobedient with the steering wheel and refuses to stop.
How the driver managed to escaped was still a shock. Reaching Lafia, we all came down like Noah and his kids and behold, the wind screen was designed with bullets but both drivers weren't hurt at all.
2. Robbers attacked our hostel.
I remember hearing a knock on the front gate and people mumbling in fierce agitation of what they'll do if the door isn't opened.
O boy, I reason my roommate, we enter celling. Mehn, landlord don already enter o. We didn't know it was a regular visit.
We dey there dey hear beating dem dey issue students wey no get laptops, fancy phones and better foodstuffs.
They also raped some students. My roomy as stupid as he was wanted to have a good night and watch what was going on so he began moving in the celling like Spider-Man.
Behold, one celling broke and he fell into the den of about three robbers. They beat craze commot for him body.
I was so bothered the guy would disclose our location but dey off him mouth. He wanted to talk about us but they were like 'shut up, shut up' under general beating. It was like Angel Gabriel was fighting for me.
3. While in Borno state, my friends lured me into going to a particular stream with them to catch fish.
We didn't stay up to thirty minutes before some armed men attacked us on gunpoint. A typical Boko Haram militia.
I was cold. How could I die in the hands of Boko Haram judging from the numerous and gory way they kill, and from the videos we've eatched.
One of my guys was already crying sotey en catarrh don dey enter en mouth.
They requested our identity cards and let us go. They were Civilian JTFs and thought we were bandits or Boko too.
I was so happy that day and repented immediately.

NK is an absolute dictatorship. Ruled for the beneft of the Kims and the Kims alone.
West actually engage in propaganda against people they don't like. Many of those things in that piece aren't accurate. Many rumoured executions have since been seen to be inaccurate
In 2013, Kim Jong Un released a list of haircuts that people in the country are allowed. There are 28 (18 for women, 10 for men) state-approved hairstyles that people can keep.
Tourists visiting the country have to deposit their phones and computers and are allowed to take them back only before returning. Guides accompany tourists who must religiously follow the what guards say.
Falling asleep in a meeting while Kim speaks could fetch a capital punishment. North Korean defence minister Hyon Yong-chol was executed in 2015 with an anti-aircraft gun in front of over 100 people for having fallen asleep during one of Kim Jong Un's events.
Oh please...this person has since been seen in public. North Korea is far from perfect, bit we should be wary of how the west that you are obviously toying with your piece tries to paint people that are not in their circle of friends
Vianna: 4. You’re only allowed to date someone if you plan on marrying them Many things that we take for granted in the West, North Koreans are not allowed to do. This includes things like public displays of affection (including hugging and kissing, even for marries couples,) getting tattoos and having piercings. North Korean men expect their brides to be chaste and to have been in no previous marriages. They must also be without child. In the DPRK, if a woman gets divorced then it is always her fault and as such, she has very little chance of ever finding another husband. Domestic violence is not frowned upon and many men who abuse their wives will be supported by the government. Again, Kim Jong-un gets a free pass to do what he likes with women. Female defectors from the country have described how school girls are pulled out of high school and taught how to become sex slaves and pleasure the notorious leader.
Honestly this smirk of lies...the type that was said against Gadhaffi. Authoritarians no doubt exhibit excesses, but they are also afraid
Vianna: If you commit a crime, your entire family goes to jail When it comes to punishing citizens for misbehaviour, North Korea is about as hardline as countries get. Take the case of Jang Song Thaek, Kim Jong-un’s uncle, whom the Supreme Leader had executed in 2013. As part of a government purge by Kim, Uncle Jang was reportedly stripped and fed literally to the dogs. For ordinary citizens, things aren’t much easier. If someone commits a crime, for example, they might not be the only ones who go to prison. In North Korea, an apparent ‘three generations rule’ means that, if one person is jailed, their entire family might be too.
President Muhammadu Buhari has been frequently vilified even by opponents of "federal character", for appearing to abandon this policy. "I don't have a problem with any part of Nigeria but I have a problem with the way government is directing its appointments," said Mr Ekweremadu during a fiery session in parliament in 2018. At present, 17 out of Nigeria's 20 service chiefs appointed by Mr Buhari are from his northern region, while 16 are Muslim like him. And 15 out of 21 serving assistant inspectors general of police are from the north, while 16 are Muslim. In defence of his boss, presidential spokesperson Garba Shehu told me: "Are you going to give your command positions in the military to people you don't trust?"
HigherEd: Breaking! CHRIST EMBASSY TO BUILD WORLD CLASS MEGA HOSPITAL
Ground Breaking Ceremony Kicks off Construction of LoveWorld Medical Center by Trauma Care International Foundation
Multi-specialty hospital to provide quality community healthcare, catering to trauma and emergency victims.
On Tuesday, September 22, 2020, the Trauma Care International Foundation (TCIF) kicked off the construction of a world class multi-specialty hospital; the LoveWorld Medical Center. The special ground breaking ceremony which took place at the LoveWorld Crusade Grounds, Aseese, along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Southwest, Nigeria, was well attended. The foundation embarked on this project in recognition of the need for adequate in-facility care for trauma and emergency victims, strategically siting the hospital along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway — the busiest interstate route in Nigeria — which is used by over 250,000 passenger car units on a daily basis.
Trauma injuries are among the top 10 leading causes of death globally, and they are usually associated with significant morbidities and subsequent disabilities in many of those affected. The Trauma Care International Foundation (TCIF); a member agency of the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation International has through the years focused on improving trauma management and emergency response services in Nigeria. TCIF has achieved this through its numerous initiatives which promote enhanced pre-hospital care and first responder education, its voluntary blood donation programs and community based health projects.
Dignitaries led by the Chairman of the occasion, the highly esteemed Rev. Tom Amenkhienan, officially flag off the construction of the medical center.
Studies have shown that on the average, 12 people die every day from traumatic accidents in Lagos State. This explains the need for such a facility which will cater to the health needs of those in surrounding communities while providing a point of care to victims of trauma and emergencies along the expressway and across Lagos and Ogun States.
While delivering his speech, the Chairman of the auspicious event, the highly esteemed Rev. Tom Amenkhienan, (Member of the CEC), expressed profound gratitude to the man of God, Reverend (Dr.) Chris Oyakhilome for the vision of the multi-specialty hospital. He said it is a laudable gesture as it will contribute significantly to the care of critically ill patients, and mark a new beginning in trauma and emergency care in Nigeria.
In her address at the special ceremony, the Chairman of the Trauma Care International Foundation, Dr. Deola Phillips, heralded the hospital as the LoveWorld Nation and the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation International's significant contribution to nation building, and as part of a strategic plan to ensure definite improvements in the state of trauma care and emergency response in Nigeria.
Eminent dignitaries that graced this occasion were some members of the Central Executive Council of the Loveworld Nation, members of the TCIF Board, the representative of the Ogun State Commissioner for Health, Dr Kudus, Dr Adelakun, Director Ogun State Ambulance and Emergency Services ably representing the Permanent Secretary Ogun State Ministry of Health, the Baale of Aseese and executives of the Community Development Council, media practitioners and other distinguished guests.
Power belongs to God abi? I have met wonderful Edo people and I have also met others from the other spectrum. Edo really is not Lagos, but Edo helped brought about Lagos. Way back in history Eko (Lagos) was a colony of Benin (Edo). Learn to love history. I hope to God that our historians will learn of something called Lidar. I have always been proud of Edo, more because of what they built. I hope I will be proud of what they will still build. *#VICTORY#*
PUNAengineOIL: You are wrong, ugly girls have more body count than you can imagine. Majority of guys have low self esteem and they always go for the less pretty ones.
The only 'wife material' girls now na wowo girls. If u try start any relationship with any fine girl now, just know say u dey enter joint investment or community project. In fact good girls ended in the year 2009. *CHAIII HEADACHE OH! THIS HANGOVER NO GO KILL ME♂️*
Is there anyone who would normally inherit another person's bill?
Maybe Ozo would. Not me.
If NERC wants to show that they are working, they should focus on more relevant matters.
This particular matter is DOA. Only applies to dumb people.
My dear, its really an issue. Maybe you are leaving in a Behind estate. PHCN us threatening to disconnect our light because of past debt. My landlord isn't feeling too concerned because he doesn't leave in the house
No go read ur bible urself... Dey there may some people dey mumu u. Seek God now really while he may be found. He is not their in the noise of these pastors
Investnow2017: My dear, there is no better way to put it. People are deceived into believing these god of men who parade as Christians are true followers of Jesus Christ, they are actually the miserable agents of Satan the Devil described by Jesus at Matthew 24:11, 24,25. See what is coming out of a man who calls himself a pastor, a man who says he has a calling from God! Shameful and reprehensible. These are wicked deceivers and their days are numbered, their judgement is not delaying, Hab 2:3. Sad, and many are following. Well that is what Jesus says about the broad way. I am hurt to my soul seeing how many are defending evil.
Tankunland: Normally I would not respond to this because try to stay of any religious or homosexual topic but I have noticed the gullibility of we Christians. We try to sound woke too much that we act like fools I'm sorry for the word. Daddy freeze has made it his life mission to abuse pastors whether they are real or not, daddy freeze that would body shame and broke shame you if you dare give a counter reason to his own words. Just go through hus Instagram page and see him brokeshaming young men, I can categorically remember daddy freeze called OYEDEPO a bald headed screechen a man that is almost 70 years old oo and no one talked about that ( God bless OYEDEPO for been so full of wisdom to have known what daddy freeze want which was his attention I guess ibiyeomie fell for that that, wisdom comes with age I guess) daddy freeze has never for once talked about the injustice we are facing as a country from our leaders, fuel and electricity was increased just a forth night ago and not a single word from daddy freeze, there have been an Carnage and an ethnic cleansing of the Christians in southern kaduna but not a word from that hypocrite but when a pastor says anything his muscles rises like a Lion ( meanwhile he is just a scared lil man , look how humble he was while reacting to the issue). It's we Christians that would still support daddy freeze when he abuse and makes mockery of our religious leaders, there is nothing you can say to me, Nigeria is always gonna be a deeply religious nation. The Muslims are laughing at us because we allow anyone trample on our religion, it's our own religion that a comedian would make a joke of speaking in tongues or of people falling under the anointing and we will all laugh foolishly while the Muslims see us as not been serious . Just 3 week's ago a man in Kano was sentence to death for a blasphemous statement and I condemn it in it's entirety but I can assure you for the next 50 years no one would dare do that again because they know the consequences. Can daddy freeze try to abuse a Muslim cleric if his head won't be on a spike? this Etinosa girl once made a joke of the Quran and she was nearly finished by the Muslims and since then she doesn't tow that part again, Christianity doesn't mean stupidity or gentility, As a Christian if you slap me I would slap you harder oo, it's only Jesus that has that patience and Mercy. Yes there should be freedom of speech but it should never be abused no matter what. If daddy freeze thinks he knows the word of God more than those men then he should open his own church and teach his own perfect word of God, can you imagine a sane Christian would wanna take marriage counsel from a daddy freeze that Is a divorcee and cohabitating with a woman that isn't his wife than a man that has been married for 52 years (Adeboye) and 36 years ( OYEDEPO) anyway what do I know sef
From bible criteria I tell u unfortunately that you are not a Christian. If you can't hope to attain Christ level of humility, devotion and tolerance, then you can't be christ-like or a Christian. Many of these pastors are not the pastors bible describe. Bible say we should not fear them. A tree is known by its fruit. The irony is that its Mr Ibiyeomo that is a bastard. He has shown that he does not know is father. Jesus cannot be his father because he doesn't behave like Jesus. The shame this 'god of men' cause is to them not to God or his true children
