And do not marry polytheistic women until they believe. And a believing slave woman is better than a polytheist, even though she might please you. And do not marry polytheistic men [to your women] until they believe. And a believing slave is better than a polytheist, even though he might please you. Those invite [you] to the Fire, but Allah invites to Paradise and to forgiveness, by His permission. And He makes clear His verses to the people that perhaps they may remember.

My first daughter is 5 years old and my second daughter is 2 years old .

Ever since they were born , there has been a tussle between myself and my parents ( mother especially) to allow my daughters go for Female Genital Mutilation due to the reason that females that don't do it tend to be promiscuous in life .

But I have always stood my ground that not doing such for them doesn't mean they would be promiscuous.

I have always told my mum that doing such is risky and unhealthy and my researches have shown that most females who undergo such procedure tends to loose interest in sex later in life which later creates marital problems in the future .

I don't want promicuosity and I don't want marital problems for my daughters .

Should I allow them to do it or stand my ground still ??

Stand your ground as you have always done.

Teach them good morals from a young age,teach sex education when they are of age, responsibility and the way of God.

You need to learn how to read taking into cognisance figurative expressions.

1)Gen 9:6 says man,meaning mankind was made in the image of God.Genesis 5:2 says male and female created He them.
This settles the issue of who or what gender is made in the image processing glory of God.
Apostle Paul's teaching in 1 Cor.11:7 has to do with cultural practices and dressing of Israel at the time.You will notice he dwelt more on appearance in that scripture.
However,man has spiritual leadership in his home and the 'glory of the woman' as spoken of in that verse is in the spiritual leadership of her husband.

2)For man to express the image of God in him,he doesn't need a woman to do that(as expressed by the author).You do not need to express God's image or glory through/over/in another being.
The woman being the helpmate(or helper) didn't mean she was surbodinate(this word was never used).We know a helper is not necessarily someone under you.

3)Genesis 2:18 shows us why God created the woman.He said it is not good for man to be alone... It wasn't because he was trying to model His relationship with the church.

4)Yes,God gave man spiritual authority in his home but not because he has to 'exercise authority' as you would have in the military.Jesus gave a perfect example of leadership when He washed the feet of His disciples.Man's image and glory of God is not about being Lord over the partner.

5)1 Cor.7:4 says,..'the wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife'.
This scripture shows who owns who.The husband has not in anyway 'purchased and owned' the wife.The traditional rites in marriage where a dowry is paid are man's rites and culture.

6)Wives are admonished to submit(meaning yield) to their husbands.The husband himself must be yielded to the word of God.Wisdom is also profitable to direct.

7)Yes,God made man the provider for his family.

8 )God made man physically stronger than the woman.God made the husband the protector of his wife.

9)Funny.....you talk about the husband loving the wife and sacrificing and end with 'rebuke and chasten' her?

10)Weaker vessel is in terms of physical strength.Mental acuity,intelligence,wisdom and knowledge is not in anyway gender based.

There's this very close childhood friend of mine who is AS and considering marrying an AS lady. I have been trying to convince him to give up the relationship as it may end in regret, but my friend is not interested in any of of that. Even the lady doesn't care about the incompatibility. He will be interested when the time comes and she will care too As the woman she will even 'care' more because she will be the one spending more time caring for a sick child.

Don't worry your child will definitely grow out of it. From experience, just ensure your therapist is a good one and make sure you confides in the class teacher so that they can gently follow him up in class and also to avoid harsh reactions towards him as a result of him not coping faster like his mate in class. Remove sugar from his meal and follow up with folic acid. But most importantly, call upon our God who alone can correct every anomalies in our system and I believe he will heal your child and make him whole in Jesus Name amen!
Do not be afraid, encourage him, get him a lesson teacher also from the school. Surround your house with educational materials, so as to enable him constantly see them and memorise them gradually.
