Politics › Re: I‘ll Not Contest 2015 Election – Jonathan by TippyTop(m): 11:44am On Dec 20, 2013
Obasanjo said the same thing but wanted to even contest for a third term. Fashola said the same thing and still ruling Lagos now. Why should GEJ not contest?

Politics › Re: Fashola At Microsoft International HQ For Collaboration In ICT. PICS by TippyTop(m): 3:41pm On Oct 13, 2013
Ikengawo: I'm suspicious of anyone that is paid to do a job and takes pictures of themselves doing it everyday. Does Fashola think he's a volunteer or Samaritan? Are Nigerians so disillusioned that we have began celebrating governors for taking pictures of themselves governing? How many classroom teachers take pictures of themselves grading tests and how silly would this be?
Its high time we expose Fashola's Machiavellian governance.
Undoubtedly the post of the week.

When George Bush was president he also had problem communicating in English and English is his first language. Navigate to youtube and see how difficult communication and logic was to the man.
Its only nonentities who beat their chest to announce they speak a foreign language more than the natives.

Was she a good biologist? This is the only way to judge her brilliance and not how well she spoke English.

ijaw citizen: The professor must be a very dull man. Where did he count 389 ethnic groups from when the entire Southern Nigeria consist of barely 10 ethnic groups?
The professor did his research, now go and do yours if you're not a dullard. What do you know as "ethnic group"?

This is great news, though some of us have said it on numerous occasions.

Big thanks to Rossikk for this insightful thread.
Politics › Re: Who Is The Smartest Governor In Nigeria? by TippyTop(m): 9:34pm On May 30, 2013
Past and present I'd give it to ex-Lagos state governor Alh Ahmed Tinubu.

For an unknown bonehead like Tinubu who made his region's governors directors in his Asiwaju company of Nigeria takes guile or if you like stratagem. You gotta hand it to the man.
For a man indicted in America for fraud to hoodwink an entire people to work for him and his family takes a bit of smartness.

Tinubu is the smartest Yoruba man alive.
Politics › Re: CPC's Fashakin Replies Reuben Abati by TippyTop(m): 1:52am On May 30, 2013
Fashakin succeeded in making himself a bigger bonehead than first thought..
He should learn from Obahiaghon that verbosity don't win elections.
Fashakin's reply was replete with excessive use of verbose, has he just found his thesaurus?
Politics › Re: Lamido-Amaechi’s Campaign Posters Flood Abuja by TippyTop(m): 10:26pm On May 29, 2013
killuminati: BIG FAT LIE! Stop the propaganda, the North are not trying to get the presidency back by all means, all they want is a good leadership. And can come from any zone as long as he can FIX IT. The PDP have been manipulating things since '99 and yet doing it wrong. So bro...it's not about nothern presidency, it's about God-fearing leadership.
They had decades to practice good leadership and they squandered it.

Ask the real owner of the account. You didn't come across as the real owner. You. couldn't explain why the forgotten password route didn't help you. Seems you're about to hack someone's account. Should I be wrong and you indeed owns it, then I offer an unreserved apology.

There's no credible opposition in Nigeria. Am afraid PDP is still better than all the opposition put together.
Politics › Re: Lagos Lawmakers Fault Tolling Of Lekki-ikoyi Link-bridge by TippyTop(m): 10:42pm On May 28, 2013
Nothing will come off this one, I think Baba Tinubu owns the tolling company or he has other vested interest in the tolling company.
Politics › Re: Corruption In Nigeria: Is It Reducing Or Increasing? by TippyTop(m): 10:02pm On Mar 31, 2013
Corruption has reduced drastically under GEJ, sorry to say this to doubters but its no longer business as usual. There are countless examples to show that its on the wane but am not going to name them. It will only make the lazy nairaland user not to do their own research All in all great job GEJ.

More names to come but the above names quickly came to mind.
Whatever you do, don't take the above people serious, they're only here to further the cause of Tinubu.
Politics › Re: The Shamefulness Of The Politics Section Hall Of Shame by TippyTop(m): 4:34pm On Dec 24, 2012
A VIEW FROM THE TOP

The most intelligent and dangerous tribal bigot here is Katsumoto. I hope Seun in his wisdom don't make that mistake of appointing Katsumoto a moderator.
Katsumoto cleverly uses subtle hints and phrases to hide his real intent. A hybrid of both good and bad, Seun think well before naming your next General in this section.

OAMJ and Jarus will be missed nonetheless.

Politics › Re: British Politician Chides Nigerian Press For Their Negativity by TippyTop(m): 5:19am On Dec 03, 2012
"You can't blame the international media, because they are re-echoing what the local press say about their country," he said, and urged the Nigerian media to be more cautious and objective.
Point of correction Lynda, they don't need to step on Nigerian soil, Nairaland is more than capable of revealing the excesses of Nigeria and Nigerians.
A nation where everyone blames everyone.
