Hello everyone,

Following the highly successful outcome of the 2nd edition of the Xfire Nairaland Undergraduate Quiz Competition held last year, It is a great pleasure to welcome you all to the 3rd edition of this competition.


The 2nd edition was highly competitive with about 473 screened applicants partaking in the online test. This shows an increase of about 58% in the number of participants as against the number recorded in the maiden edition (300).

The eventual winner, Alphamaximus, a 500 level Petroleum and Gas Engineering student of UNILAG received a total cash prize of N100, 000. Having scaled through all the hurdles and being a recipient of two other scholarships, he no doubt was the worthy winner.

The 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th placed winners also received various cash prizes while the 6th to 15th placed winners received N1, 000 recharge cards each.

Thanks to the chief sponsor and originator of this competition
xfire who made a total cash commitment of N160,000 and our big sponsor Mayflowa who contributed N50,000. A big thanks also to Abike12 who came towards the tail end of the competition to support with N20,000. Due to her kind gesture, the 6th to 15th best got an additional N2,000 each.

The chief sponsor,xfire has pledged to make a total cash commitment of N187,500. The top 3 students will receive the following cash prizes (subject to a minimum score of 70%):

Winner: N80,000

1st Runner Up: N40, 000

2nd Runner Up: N30, 000

A cash prize of N10, 000 each will be given to the 4th and 5th best as consolation.

The 6th to 15th best will receive N1,000 airtime each or the cash equivalent

Hey guys,

I know the title seems creepy, but let's just think about it.
Religion discourages premarital sex but have failed to tell us how to manage our selves when the hormones are activated.

Often times, you get the urge to engage the opposite sex especially those that are in a relationship and then you are confused about what to do in order for you to not engage in sex, you just want to make the feeling go away.

I think this is 1 of the reasons why we have adolescents indulging in the act and then leading to unwanted pregnancies, HIV and STI's and others engage in masturbation which somehow turns into addiction and becomes complicated at the end of the day.

So to those who have mastered the art of controlling the sexual urge, please share how you do it for people to learn

Even me, a civil servant without property in US and just small money in my Dollar account, was issued Entry Visa to US last year and it was my first attempt.
