This is what happens when you appoint bigots to sensitive positions. Of all the issues facing Nigeria right now, it is sharia law that is this man's priority?!
Just look at the quality of people we appoint to positions. What a shame on this country. |

Gerrard59: Considering the tribal and nepotistic nature of the vast majority of Nigerians, I prefer Indians managing the factory to Nigerians. It's better a no-nonsense set of individuals manage a facility to a set that sees as opportunity to squander everything in the name of my people or religion. Maybe for a small company but for a big firm, I will advise a foreigner manages the facility instead of a Nigerian. BTW, why will Indians not manage Dangote's refinery very well when they manage Reliance Industries - which has one of the biggest refinery in the world? Isn't that where Dangote sent its new employees for training? So I guess if we assume you rise to the top of your career and have an opportunity to head a big company in Nigeria, at that point it's better that role is given to an Indian. |

Voltron, Do you have a frontal full feature picture? Side views can produce false identification sometimes.
Picture below is Bajulaiye of Lagos, a Prince and son of Oba Oyekan. This criminal needs to look like this guy, moreso they are around same age. Report said the criminal was 50 when the crime was commited in 2012, he has to be about 57/58 now...same age range with Bajulaiye. The report says the 50-year old prince, it didn't say he was 50 then. Plus, it is not a must anyone has to look like anyone. It's left to genes to determine that. |

jpmoriarti: Who determines what is fair and equitable? Do you think that other foreign countries are all interested in which region a particular officer holder comes from? Our sheer hatred for each other in this country will continue to keep us divided in ethnic lines. Lack of love has polarized this God-forsaken country. Nigeria is a MULTI ETHNIC country unlike many foreign countries which share the same language and culture. Which is why the federal character principle is necessary for such a nation to exist in unity and peace. You cannot preach about love whilst ignoring fairness. Such love is a sham. For your reference: The “federal character” principle, which has been enshrined in Nigeria's Constitution since 1979, seeks to ensure that appointments to public service institutions fairly reflect the linguistic, ethnic, religious, and geographic diversity of the country |

brosammy: The question remain why Dangote? Why can't the federal government make our refineries work? Or is Dangote now bigger than the federal government?
Sir you just ask the same question I was about to ask, A citizen is doing what the Federal government can not do. So Dangote is richer than the whole of Nigeria. God save this country from the hand of leaders who care less about the prosperity and fortune of this nation. Million dollar question. Unfortunately, you can't expect anything progressive from a government run by retrogressive individuals who have nothing upstairs. Other countries have left us wayyyyy behind. Yet some dunces are defending this mediocre (to put it mildly) retrogressive govt. Takes one to defend one in any case. |

rawfact: Kindheartedd, this is going to be very long and deep so don't just scan through. My guess is that you are married to a Yoruba man. I can't tell the tribe you are from. But whether you are also Yoruba or not, you need to know who a Yoruba husband is, whether he is in church or not. Because church or whatever will never take his culture away from him. "Husband" according to Yoruba Culture is know as Ade Ori (Crown) of the Woman, and not just Head as declared in the bible. You can't afford to raise your voice back at him or those other nonsense I read from your previous post. He must have tolerated all that while waiting for you to outgrow them. Because such is for Boyfriend/Girlfriend Stuff - never a Yoruba Marriage. You will have to learn on how to humbly follow his lead. After all, you trusted his leadership before saying yes to his marriage proposal.
With that said as an introduction, you will permit me to abuse you where necessary despite the fact that you seem to hate such. Meanwhile, learn that abuse from a loved one that is above one (parents, elders, husband, uncle and co) is for one's good and never an evil nor intended as such. This is Africa for goodness sake and not some white man's land, where the wife throws out the husband out of his house while his kids calls him by his first name or even shuts him up. Even some good friends can abuse someone to stop one from making a wrong decision. No wonder your bible recorded that the sting of a friend is better than the kiss of an enemy. Anyway, I took out time to read many comments on your thread and I really commend the likes of Newguyhere, Triniti, TheRedpillguy, PrinceMajestic, tunjilana and a few others who were not timid to serve you raw facts. The rest commenters literally boosted your pride. Clearly, you are an abuser. |

SOME CHRISTAINS HAVE FULL UNDERSTANDING OF HOW GOD WORKS AND ARE SWIMING IN PROSPERITY. FEW GIVE 99% OF INCOME AS TITHE AND CHARITY ARE HAVING RESULTS. seunmsg: When are we having a regulatory commission to carry out similar investigation in Nigeria? The British brought Christianity to Nigeria and they are sensible enough to create a commission to regulate and investigate churches in their country. But in Nigeria, Churches are untouchable and pastors are beyond reproach.
The last time someone at Financial reporting council of Nigeria attempted to issue a regulatory code to guide the operation of churches, he was fired in less than a week after the issuance of the code. Whilst I get your point, the commission mentioned regulates charities (of which churches are one), not only churches. |
