You should know the public sector barely pays as much as most private firms. Even a business analyst with roughly 3 years experience would earn more in basic salary than most professors.

Continue being confused, the way some of you on NL think though.

As a rule of thumb, when changing jobs especially if you are comfortable where you are always make sure the salary upside is at least 50% of what you currently earn. Leaving where you collect 250k to collect 300k in a start-up is not a good decision.

That's my two cents.

Someone says he takes loan based on careful analysis of the market. Middle and lower levels are wome and ground level and support staff like are mostly men again.

Until you can prove that there are more women than men in the said organization, then there's no reason to quote me.

Someone shared a false information that people are already debating. Someone even said they employ females for various reasons. Again, pick a random bank. Then search for their financial statements, look under employee section if the ratio of male:female is higher and stop spreading false narratives. Instead of you to do the needful so you know, you are here arguing needlessly. Y'all, won't ever learn. It's appalling.

This number is false, I can beat my chest and say no bank in Nigeria has more female employees than male. Take any bank you want, download their financials, there's always a section for employee mix. Educate yourself and stop passing wrong information to the general public.

Take each day as it comes. Don't overthink things that you can't control. Work hard but work smart. Always save for the rainy days.

And lastly, be humble in success. Life is in seasons.
