We don't need US to help us fight Boko Haram. The truth is that they are not fighting them. Rather they are using them for ethnic cleansing in the military. If small country like Chad could overwhelm Boko Haram in less than three days, don't tell me Nigeria can't defeat them. Give the service chief appointment to an Igbo or Yoruba man, Boko Haram will be history in matter of weeks.

It's more than a waste. It puts the life of communities around the gas plant in danger. Bomb explosion in such gas plant will kill thousands of lives and destroy the communities around it. Nigerians are just too quiet to a fault. We should say no to this project. It is meaningless. They should take the project closer to where we have the gas wells and save cost. It should be built where we have relative peace and not in a troubled zone.

I am not a Tinubu fan but his suggestion of recruitment of 50,000 youths into the military was spot on. Even as I don't understand why some people criticized it.

If you asked me, I'd suggest the number be increased to 100,000.

Recruit any youth who is young and fit irrespective of qualification because those terrorists don't ask for 5 credits in WAEC before they recruit their fighters yet the so called "illiterates" keep giving our military bloodied nose at battlefield.

Deploy about 5,000 men into each of those flashpoint areas with moderate equipment and let me see how those bastards won't be overpowered.

When the war is won, absolve some into the civil service, draft others into reserve and let those who wish to continue a career in the military to continue.
