Please I will need advise on which school can I run a *POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA* in the US and are mostly the requirements. Thanks in-advance for your assistance You obviously haven't been planning at all. If not you would know that the US doesn't offer post graduate diplomas. You're either applying for a masters or PhD degree. |

ifeanyimoses: ( The atheist point).....Bro, God is not a man and doesn’t think like us. To human thinking, atheist aren’t graced but that’s a lie, Jesus came for the sinners and non-believers.
Maybe we are saying the same thing, but there is truly a role of God and grace in all we do.
Conclusively, we shouldn’t overlook things and be lazy thinking God is there, but God wouldn’t do things that are in our capacity to do. Getting a visa is in our capacity. God will not come down and perform magic. Some of those VOs are Christians too… in Europe, getting a US visa is a breeze. Perhaps you think God showers them with more grace? We destroy our integrity on the altar of selfishness, greed and utter disregard to the laws of other countries, then cry grace when visas become a huge problem to get. |

Approvalll: Bro it does you can be overqualified and still not get a visa I’m talking from personal experience the VO’s are humans and can be having a bad day and decide to transfer aggression to applicants by denying them everything concerning the US visa is a game of luck or grace as we know it and always remember we are blacks the policies of the western world are designed to keep the black at the bottom(white American people are naturally racists due to times of the slave trade never forget that most white people see black people as nothing more than animals truth can be bitter sometimes) It isn’t grace… we are our own worst enemies. More often than not, visa applicants appear for visa interviews with falsified documents, routinely lie about our travel intentions and cannot be trusted to strictly keep to the terms of our visas. That’s why they treat us that way. Black people from other African countries don’t nearly have the same problem we do. I don’t think they pray anywhere close to us. But to each his own. My advice is: 1. Plan well in advance - identify your schools, test and application requirements at least 1.5 years before your classes start. So if you’re targeting fall 2022, you should have started your planning in March/April 2021. 2. Try not to avoid tests like SAT, and GRE. They are essential if you want some form of financial support in bigger schools. They are easy enough tests. 3. For a fall admission, apply by October of the previous year. In other words, you should have your admissions in hand by January/February of the year you intend to travel. 4. Apply for a visa interview ASAP - as soon as you get your admission letter. Don’t wait until 2 months before you have to resume classes. Chikena. |

Approvalll: That’s grace bro good luck with your interview when you get the visa make sure you drop the transcript That isn’t grace, that’s just due diligence. Tired of Nigerians couching their laziness and lack of planning as “grace”. If you are going for a fall admission, you should start the process as early as October of the previous year. That gives you plenty of latitude to not need to file an emergency request for an interview. In some cases, schools allow you to start in summer (especially grad schools) if you’re going to be working in a research lab. |

Taal17: The visa they put in your passport after approval is not the GC. You must enter the US before the expiry date on that visa. Once you arrive in the US it is then stamped. After that you wait for the actual GC which is a card , it will be posted to your address that you indicated.
Maintaining your LPR status has its own regulations, you are not expected to stay extended periods outside the US since it is to be your private residence. Some POE may quiz you, however it is only a judge that can cancel it. Typically no more than 6months out of the US , if you want to spend up to a year outside the US then there's another application you can make so that you can do that officially and get a SB1 (returning resident visa) That isn't true, the CBP officer has the power to decide if your primary residence is outside the US and revoke your GC. |

Futuragetty: Hi Everyone!
I hope y'all are having a great day, Please help criticize my proposed transcript. You can rephrase and come up with whatever response you feel is better.
Where are you going to? I am going for a bachelor’s degree program in computer science at the illustrious Xavier University in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Why US? US have the best classrooms in the globe. USA has by far and away the best labs, the best facilities and the most world class education there is. In addition, USA has the finest ranked institutions, Topnotch Academic programs and offer greater opportunities in Computer science than almost anywhere in the globe.
Why Xavier University? I choose Xavier University for a variety of reasons. First, asides that I was awarded a full tuition scholarship, I have also been offered a place in her unique google in-residence program where I will be taught the basics of programming in python. Second, the google program offers internships which will help me gain many technical and non-technical skills, make personal and professional connections and build a strong resume that sets me apart from other students. Lastly, Xavier University provides a fantastic learning environment because the classes are small, the coursework are more diverse and students have more time with their professors. Your answer to “why US” comes across as insincere. The US does not have a monopoly on classrooms a d world class facilities. You can find these in the UK, Canada or Germany. Also if indeed world class facilities are what appeal to you, then why Xavier instead of Yale, Harvard etc.? The “why Xavier” section is very good and personal to you. |

Schools I want to apply to: UC, Davis - MSc Horticulture and Agronomy University of Kentucky - MSc Integrated plant and soil sciences TAMU, college station - MSc Agronomy UBC - MSc plant science
Will add more schools as time goes on. Any piece of advice about my choice of schools, funding, suggestions will be appreciated.
Excited to start this journey Really nice profile! I would suggest you take the GRE a little earlier - July maybe. You’ve picked top competitive schools (kudos to you) which means the earlier you submit a complete application, the better. I would suggest you apply for masters/PhD programs. You have an excellent chance for a fully funded program. Good luck! NB: consider schools in less expensive cities too… UPenn, Penn State, UMich, MSU would be great to consider as well. |

He's to resume in 10 days but ROBLOX asked him to send his international passport number to generate some paperwork for him.
Please I'd like to know
1) Can he get an expedited international passport within 5 days and how much will it cost? 2) What type of Visa does he need, can he apply for an expedited Visa in the next 3 days and how much is the cost? 3) can he Travel on or before the 9th day and within what range is the flight ticket? 5) Also, can 1.5 million naira run the whole process of leaving Nigeria and paying like 2/3 month rent? 6) Chances of getting his Visa approved?
P.S: The pay is 50k USD per year, he needs to get an apartment, cover his transportation, feeding, and accommodation. The contract is just for 2 years.
Background:
-He's an high achieving high school graduate, with a couple of international and national awards.
-His mom SOA is over 20 million naira as at last month.
- He runs an organization, and has worked with a couple organizations too.

On staying safe online, Pls I do not accept private message from agents, or promotion. Anyone who can help should say something here and if I feel the need to shoot a private message I'll do that myself. Thanks! There is no way your friend is resuming in 10 days. The company needs to file for an H1B visa for him, that alone takes months to be approved. |

JoEJOeJoE87: Good evening everyone,
I have an urgent request....
I got an undergraduate full tuition and fees scholarship to a College in Little Rock, Arkansas but the problem is, I don't have the money to pay for the room and board fees and it is required of me to pay the fees before I get my form I-20. The only option I have is if I have a relative or if I know someone who would be willing to vouch for me that I would be staying with them.
This is really important and I would be open to any other suggestions also.... Time is not on my side because I could get the scholarship taken away from me..
The deficit is $8000, My course of study is Psychology, I left secondary school in 2017, and I have a sponsor who is willing to pay for my cost of feeding for 2months and another who is willing to pay for another 4 months Thank you. I hate to say it but the obvious reality is you don't have the financial resources to school in the US. Your plan isn't well thought out: 1. Get a relative to pay your room and board - probably your best option. However, be aware that "room and board" does not include the cost of incidentals - phone bills, transportation costs etc. Also "room and board" is only for 9 months. You will need to find a place to stay and take care of yourself during the summer holidays. In other words, you do need a relative who is willing to provide you the funds you need on a monthly basis to take care of yourself. 2. Someone willing to vouch for you that you will be staying with them - If the idea is just to find someone to help you get your I-20, you're only shooting yourself in the foot. When you get the visa, what will you do about "room and board"? You still have to pay. If the idea is to find someone to stay with, how long is that person willing to put up with you? The entire 4 years? Is your intent to never have to pay rent, food utility bills? 3. Sponsor willing to pay - First you have a sponsor willing to pay for costs of feeding for 2 months and another for 4 months. This is not a serious option. Feeding is not the only thing you need - you'll need to pay phone bills, buy incidentals and pay for transport. What will you do then? Bottomline - you have not thought this through at all. Getting a visa should not be your first priority, making sure you have the funds to survive and thrive here is it. Take it from me, I have seen folks who came here without counting the costs, it was not pretty. The last thing you want to do is skip out on bills, it will basically ruin your credit score and some can even sue you to court to get their money - it is an offense in many states. |

I WROTE THE SCH D.SO ABOUT THE PROBLEM ON MY I-20 AND SHE FINALLY PUT ALL AVAILABLE FUNDS UNDER GRADUATE ASSISTANTSHIP. PLEASE ADVICE I wrote sch if i can start online or i defer till Spring,YET TO GET BACK. It's hard to say why you were denied but if i could hazard a guess, i would say 3 things: 1. Your age - it's not too common to see someone at 40 deciding to go for their masters. 2. You could not articulate why you chose this school. Much of what you said appears like it's rehearsed. There is nothing personalized - for example, at 40, you are at an age where career is super important to you, yet you cannot tell the VO in detail, exactly why this master's degree helps you further your career. 3. You don't seem to be able to clearly articulate what you do. Yes, you're the head of a powder coating department, but exactly what does that mean? What do you do? How passionate are you about your current career? How does your educational pursuit further that career? This is why I don't subscribe to mock interviews... you all end up spouting the same tired rehearsed lines, forgetting that every circumstance is different. It's hard to convince a VO when you have no personal attachment to what you claim you want to do. |

Please mind the way you address people's post As you have noted earlier, the only date available for you is 2022. The only way to get a date for this year is to apply for an expedited visa interview... you've also asked if you could buy a date from an agent... one is left to conclude that you are looking for an emergency date. But hey, feel free to play semantics. An F2 visa does not qualify for an expedited review... you can fulminate all you want. |
