For those making sales, whats the topic used for mails sent? I have been using the domain i want to sell.
Any other suggestion
Some pros in this stuff use the same thing as you. Therefore, I think you're in good company.

But you may try using domain keywords only - that's what I use. Let's say you have twowords.com as your domain name; use "Two Words" as the subject without the commas.

I got this idea from Namepros some months ago while researching for better subject lines. It made sense to me.

This is getting scary o. shocked For days now, I haven't seen any GEO domain name that's worth regging for me. I hope these people get tired soon enough.

How man go dey shell out at least about 60 bucks to dropcatch a name that might not get sold.

I guess it's time to start looking at names more than 1-2 times before letting them drop. Make man kuku renew a good name for more years fit better pass this dropcatching o.

Please do you normally add price to your sales letter or not?
Bro, I am honestly confused about what style to stick with, so please don't take whatever I state as a rule.

I used to add price (until last year) but stopped earlier this year after reading up more, both here and at Namepros. However, I have started including prices again, partly because of some comments I read (including one by Ikhalyfah) and my plan to stop disturbing probably uninterested leads with follow-up emails.

I resumed inclusion of prices in initial emails around two weeks ago. The Brookline name was one of the firsts I did that for.

crudedude:
You had a great month bro. The sales may not be up to $350 each but they do add up nicely wink. Congratulations

@bolded I worry about this and stop sending follow ups on some older geos of mine after a while. I feel it's pestering endusers. I should probably do give away for one or two of these domains

How often do you send follow up/reduction emails over the year on a single domain? can you share the letter you use?
You can say that again, sir! Thanks.

As I noted initially, I wasn't comfortable about disturbing leads with unsolicited emails. I'm, therefore, tentative when it comes to following up.

For most of this year, I first sent out a short email without price. I then followed up with the price and how to buy 3-6 days later. I wasn't convinced that method did anything until the experience with the Florida name.

I can't really put a number to the times I followed up. The model I have worked with for the most of this year targeted 2-3 follow-ups. However, the target is two follow-ups max for the current one that involves including price in my initial emails.

But note that I have seen people that make more sales suggesting that they follow up several times more. You may see if that works for you, too.

I can change my current approach any time I come across something more convincing.

It's not just about letters, bro, but more about grace and the names you're blessed to own. There are numerous letter samples here. You simply need to take a look at each one and see what would make a nice addition to the current one you're using. I pick idea from here and there myself.

Grace and favour to us all.

Glory and thanks to God Almighty!

October made it the first time I sold more than two domain names in a month grin, although the sales figures might not seem so awesome for some people here.

That feat, however, is behind why I decided to share these reports. Maybe someone could get some encouragement from them. Progress. We shall get there. cool

The reports (all names in .com):

Name - Denver/Bail/Bonds/Service
Price sold - 100
Sale type - Outbound (reduced & followed up)
Hold time - 9+ months

Name - Florida/RV/Repair
Price sold - 299
Sale type - Outbound
Hold time - <2 months

Name - Austin/TX/Home/Loans
Price sold - 100
Sale type - Outbound (reduced & followed up)
Hold time - 9 months

Name - The/Brookline/Dentist
Price sold - 250
Sale type - Outbound
Hold time - 10 days

Name - Jacksonville/Foot/Care
Price sold - 299
Sale type - Outbound (reduced & followed up)
Hold time - 6+ months

Personal Notes

- The total sales value for October was the highest I have managed in any month all these years!

- I outbounded for names that were under 60 days lock for the first time to see what could go wrong; sold two of those. I usually waited until after 60 days.

- With the Florida sale, I experienced the dreaded DAN payment issue first-hand. I might not have been aware of it were it not for the follow-up I did to all contacts after the initial emails. I was contemplating to stop doing follow-ups that don't involve price reduction because I didn't notice any benefits; only apparent inconvenience to leads. But this incident has made me rather confused about whether to stick to that decision.

- The Brookline name was probably the first I had registered in a long time for a city having not close to 100,000 inhabitants. I just decided to give it a try seeing that some people here have sold names for smaller cities.

- I didn't plan the follow-up that led to the Jacksonville name sale. While reading some posts on the thread last Friday, I saw a suggestion to offer Halloween discounts. I just decided to do that for the name and one other; got the sale notification in the night. Strange thing is that I was prepared to renew that name if it didn't sell.

Keep the hope alive if you are still hoping for your first sales. These reports are mainly intended to encourage anyone that might be feeling unlucky (like me cheesy).

Let's keep learning everyday - this thread helps a lot! I found out many folks that became aware of this stuff after me don become bosses; I am not too shy or proud to learn from them. You gats to gba f'oga e anyhow. cheesy

The next milestone I'm targeting now are sales greater than $350. Good luck and more sales to us all in Jesus's name.

Two options:

1. Use boomerang to send your mails and it won't be blocked

2. Email warming: this is the process of sending mails from a new email in other to create activity (u can achieve this by sending and receiving emails from family members and friends for like a month) before you start using the email account for mass outbound. Hope I could help. I be newbie o
Thanks, bro. But I don't think Boomerang has anything to do with preventing having an email account disabled.

ElonMosque:
You can use streak - 50 mails per account . I believe you can also use the Mail merge for follow up - just use the same subject line and the message will automatically fall under the previous ones you sent out ( not 100% sure). It’s best not to send more than 50 mails per day regardless of the age of the account, after the 50th mail is when bad things happen lipsrsealed
I appreciate the tip, bro.

I actually send more than 50 emails per day, especially when I include follow-ups.

I don't send more than 2-4 emails to each lead over a year validity of a domain name, though. Yet, I have read of people who send follow-up emails up to like 6-8 times. I wonder how they manage it.

Prinss:
Bonjour monsieur,

Have you tried the tool on #3 below?? I have used it with all my email accts and sent over 2000 mails. I have never received the word blocked from Google. cool

Experienced "outbounders" in the house, please I wish to know what you do to avoid getting your email accounts disabled or closed. Do you use a paid solution? If yes, what's it please?

I have read from people that said their accounts were disabled and not restored. I'm trying to avoid that. I got a scare in that direction this evening.

@NkShallom, I think I read sometime ago that you send outbound emails manually. How do you keep up with that? I'm thinking of going back to that but the amount of work I see ahead is a bit...

Scroll down to add domains, on it, add domain name you want to list it will be added to the list of your epik domains.

Then right click beside the domain after refreshing your dashboard and click on marketplace to set up listing.

Yes. I get loads of unsolicited calls. What do I do? Once I picked and it isn't an enduser, I disconnect immediately. Most calls are for donations, or some are from prospects trying to sell to you (real estates and the likes).

If it is the latter, I carefully explain to them about my email content and they often say "we will relay your message to our marketing department."

So, I'll advise you to pick all calls. You never can tell if the one calling is a prospect...or another time waster
Thanks!

You're not alone bro, I also get these random messages and calls.

Personally, I feel Dingtone recycles numbers that have been used and left by previous owners.

Sometimes though, some of the calls are from websites/contact forms you filled while outbounding and they are only following up.

I get random texts/whatsapp messages all the time from people I have no clue how they got the number.

See screenshots of two instances.
I agree with the bold. I think it's too much of a coincidence that people are calling my number, even before I used them for completing a few online contact forms.
BusinessRe: What To Do To Make Money Online? by U1(m): 8:23pm On Oct 11, 2020
People who use Dingtone numbers here I would like to know if you also get random calls.

I have only used the number to call one person (ended in a sale about a week later).

But I also notice that random numbers frequently call the number - mostly see missed call notifications. I have only picked one of these calls (seems a robocall).

Now, I am considering adding this number to outbound emails, but these unsolicited calls could make it hard telling what calls are relevant.

Good morning to all the bosses in the house. Pls i need your advice on a particular domain that is about to expire and one end user has shown interest to buy for $80 which i have agreed but dan where i listed the domain dont allow any listing below $100. Pls what can i do. Is it possible to sell the domain on dynadot where i registered it for $80 or what is the best way to go about it. Pls Advive
I once had a difficulty doing this when I was more desperate to make sales by setting sub $100 prices out of the door. It appears the default price on Dan is $100.

If I remember correctly, you can set this to whatever you want via "Account settings" in your Dan account.

Don't sell via Dynadot, except you want to use the money to buy more domains.

Thanks bro, but I'm not a boss yet oo.

1. I didn't reduce price each time I do that. But I plan on doing that. Maybe start with, $205 then second follow up could be $165. I do this for my domains expiring in a month time.

2. 5 to 7 days.

3. No! I rarely do that. I use mail merge.

4. Yes!

Hope this helps.
It does help. Thanks!

Hold time: less than a month

I don't really like writing much words. Last month has taught me a lot.

I had some names expiring this month (about 14 GEOs), so I decided to reduce price and follow up again. Sold 2 during first follow up. Sold another 2 during second follow up still with reduced price. So 4 sales out of the 14 GEOs. I can use one sale to renew them all.

Also I bought a name last month, (highest sale in the list), did outbound the following day. Got 5 interested buyers. One went to buy the singular version probably because of my price. Another person called me and asked if it a scam. I cleared his doubt by pushing the domain to his dynadot account before he paid me. He was very happy.

The lessons;

1. Always follow up till the die minute.

2. For a quick flip especially those with large portfolio, put a reasonable price.

3. Check if the singular or plural version of your name is available. Act professionally if interest are flowing for the domain.

4. Call a buyer if he/she request for it ( I can help with that for a fee).

5. Dan doesn't have problems. I totally love them now.

Thanks! Please share your experiences for last month if possible.

More sales to us all. October to remember.
Congrats, bro. You're doing well.

You're now among the people I look up to on this thread - those who sell three or more names in a month or sold a name for more than $350. Una be bosses! cheesy

Please I have some questions, if you have the time to answer them:

1. You wrote that you followed up for some expiring domains up to two times. Did you reduce the price each time you followed up? If not, what was the message of each follow-up email?

2. Like how many days apart did you send the two follow-up emails?

3. Did you send all those emails manually?

4. I got the impression that you include your phone number in emails. Is that correct?

Thanks.

YoungandDepress, take it softly. Life can be hard, but don't let it break you. Did you really mean 23 or 33? If it's the former, I must say you worry a lot! At that age, I was just starting 100L, mainly due to financial issues.

Keep pushing and give it time. You will get better by either getting what you want or realising that you don't need to have some things to be happy.

I'm not where I wished or people expected me to be yet. But I don't worry so much about that anymore - I get over worries more easily now with the help of God.

I'd love for you to get the spoken word song "Everybody's free" by Baz Luhrmann, or its lyrics, and assimilate the message. Here's one of my favourite songs. A line in it goes somewhat like this: "some of the most interesting 40-year-olds I know still don't (know what they want to do with their lives)."

Breath slowly. You still have a lot of opportunities waiting for you. And please correct your impression about God.

Xinchao, this phase shall pass, too. Hold on, stay strong, and keep pushing. I know that feeling (older), but just keep making efforts to get by and improve.

Most importantly, hold on to God like your entire life depends on Him - of course, it does! grin Cheers!
