Few Lessons for me last month:

1. I change the time I do my outbound from 2-4 pm to 8-10pm and I saw a little result. Though the formal is still my best period but I will be interchanging from time to time.

2. Follow ups and negotiation skills are very important. I keep learning it from people here each time I visit.

3. Source for leads from all angles.

4. Believe in your domains. I have strong feelings for some domains that they will certainly sale. I only renew domains that had received offer(s) in the past.

5. Don't use one sales letter. Have as many as possible and use the ones that are pulling sales often.

6. Continue to trust in God and work hard. No dulling.

Note: Please nobody should feel like l'm trying to show off. I strongly believe I am contributing my quota by dropping this sales report to guide others in knowing what can sell.

Congrats, man! More sales.

That Texas name, though. I have had no luck yet selling a name with "best."

SKhanmi:
They can't know, unless you give yourself away some how. And yes, they respond to their fellow country men differently. Someone said it on this thread already. "Why give you $500 when majority lives on less than $2 in your country", that's how some see 3rd Worlders. The really business minded ones don't care though. You offered them a useful solution, they'll take it despite your nationality.

They may, if savvy. Some email providers record/acquire your ISP information.

I think once or twice I have received failed delivery messages telling me lead doesn't receive emails from my location.

Crazeworld:
Most likely the previous owner of the name called and emailed him.

Okay, I see. I thought in that direction somewhat fleetingly as well.

Imagine this one carry gun come fist-fight.
First contact and not even through a call - I have called only one lead ever.

GolDRoger:
You can sell any amount you want to an end user That is not my business

Your business na to just collect 200 bucks each, abi?

viktor88:
Remove me from your list.

We plenty for dia.

SKhanmi:
Lol, did you see where he was accused of being a front runner at namepros. The accuser even said he had proof. Thread went nowhere though. Not against anybody trying out the book but it does make me wonder, Some things get as e be. Same as looking at some shitty names selling for millions on namebio and you be like tf who will buy that, for what? This business go sweet for money laundering abeg.

Really? I missed something o. You needed to see all the hype I came across on Twitter yesterday about the book.

About the money-laundering part, abeg no give some people ideas o. But, with some sales that some of our brothers (and sisters) have reported here, I can give a benefit of the doubt... somewhat.

Crazeworld:
Who don buy make e come sell give me

Baba, don't be like that na. Spend this money.

I just found out today that Yogi had a Black Friday deal (25 bucks) for his book. It seemed to still be available a couple of hours ago despite claiming 24 hours.

With all the rave reviews (might be a "set-up" ), it might be worth checking out. I thought someone might be interested.

The video of Tiwa Savage's "Ole" brought this episode to mind again today.

What a country! Yet, some people protested when a former British PM described the country as "fantastically corrupt."

toby345:
hmm this one shook me

Yes, very valid point.

What I have observed so far is that some people are more lucky or blessed in this biz. Such people may sell like 1+ out of every 3 domain names or sell for higher figures.

For others, it's a game of numbers - keep on regging good names and hope to get lucky at some point. I have read from some people that they sell like 1 out of every 10-15 domain names. A single sale, however, usually makes up for the ones not sold.

Sapiosexuality:
For me I try to tell them that it is a one time mail and I stick to it.

This used to be me - still experimenting more or less, though.

I later decided to start following up one or two times after reading from people that it helps.

Still, I think 80-90% of the sales I have made so far resulted from the initial contact.

kennypoka2:
This was a name I bought and dropped after reaching out to end-users and no replies. This life ehn...

Please guy, can you message me? I will like to get your sales letter

I can relate very well with this. Held on to a name for a full year, didn't sell. Someone else here that picked it after I dropped got it sold for a higher price within a few months.

Julieextra:
Thanks for your input.

You see! The truth is that many people don't have the money to start. Majority of Those that have don't take action Because they are afraid of trying. Do you know that I was among those that they literally begged to open bitcoin wallet in 2012 with just #50k when it was just about #500 for 1btc. I was afraid even though I had the money then. Today, as at this morning, check it's value , it's over #8m.

Imagine if I had bought it then with #500, I would have had 2000 btc in my wallet. Just do the maths my friend.

Every online Biz professional knows that there is money in Affiliate business, but the problem has been that of sales in recent times but with the right affiliate tools and little capital, one can have full online business making close to $5000 monthly depending on your effort and mentorship. But you see! Most people don't want to take action and even when they do they get discouraged after 1 or 2months. How can somebody who is unstable like that make progress in life.?

Just imagine, in my 2 previous classes of over 80 persons, less than 30% are taking action after I warned that nobody should join my class who doesn't have the required capital. As if the start-up is meant for me and not for them to start and grow their affiliate business. That start-up capital is for them to get the needed affiliate tools to be able to make money. Not for me.I don't sell ebooks but I don't give my best ebooks to anyone that hasn't taken a step.

No. I don't do that

That's what I am saying and that's why I usually limit my classes to few ready people who are serious.

Thanks for your observation sir and have a nice week.

Thank you, too.

I would have given this a try myself, but I don't want to be a time-waster. The idea to be shared might not be convincing enough for me to take action. This is from experience.

tranxo:
Daylight robbery!!!!

Na today? Since 1802!

I can't remember the last time I withdrew money via bank because of this. I had even thought they're paying up to 386/$.

Branduche:
Next time when calling that name, wear traditional attire

How you take know say I no put on full traditional attire? I weak o.

Coldie:
How do I confirm sth in a place u have never been before with no form of connections or communication?

Or would I pay someone to go check it out for u?

I thought he used an example of hotels. These must have phone numbers - they're imperative.

I don't think any place that can put price information online won't have a means of contact. If they don't, I'd determine the maximum amount I can pay in advance (price stated plus an extra) and also make a plan for an alternative arrangement.

OP, affordability isn't an issue for many people. The main problem is: how convincing or factual is what you are trying to teach?

That question, to me, is the reason people often attend training and not take action.

How will someone be sure they can TRULY make N50 with N10 and not take action?

It's already being used in Nigeria, including by government parastals, since God-knows-when. Highly unethical, and responsible business people shouldn't adopt it.

This is why it's good to first confirm things these days before going to any place or you have an alternative plan.

richkal:
2Sexy is a super legend, he said this statement on page 5. Olohun Nigeria is richly blessed.

Interesting! So 2sexynet na "jideofor." Never had an idea all these years!

Puya:

It depends on your building and the people you share it with .. there isn’t any specific amount. You can find yourself in a building where you have to pay 1k per month for electricity or another building where you have to pay 4K per month like mine .

If you’re using a prepaid, you and your neighbors can decide to always recharge say 5k per month and you divide it amongst how many you guys are that is if you’all share the same meter

That’s the downside of having to share prepaid with others. Someone else might be using the light more than the others. Powering freezer, AC, big TV and all meanwhile you that is only using fan and bulb will still contribute same money to recharge
However, one can always make a deal to bring less of the amount if they are reasonable enough to understand you don’t power so much electronics. Or you might be lucky and every house will have separate prepaid so that way, you can decide how much you want to recharge

Then if it’s post-paid,,, this one is war and part of what I battle.
Nepa just brings an outrageous amount every month for the building and you all will contribute the money and pay
Amount could be 20k, 30k and above and you divide it amongst yourselves

Boss, that's very helpful. I appreciate the time you took to type that out - rare on here these days. Thanks!

Anyone has a clue of how much power bill for a room self-contain goes for now, please? I urgently need this info. Thanks.

oyetemi:
Anyone interested in sharing a room self-contain in oworo?
Apartment is available, just a lady in need of roommate.
No monthly payment.

Hey! No, I'm not female. It's another thing entirely.

Could you please give me an idea of how much power (electricity) bill costs monthly on average for a self-contain apartment? Abeg.

ireneidiva:
Aisle not 'isle'.

Prof, prof!

I think I read here recently from someone that stated that they had a completed transaction on DAN cancelled even after payment had been disbursed.

So I decided to ask DAN what could make a cancellation to happen. Attached is the response from Laszlo.

Is there any contrary opinion, please?

CornOak:
I'm a copywriter, sir.

Oh! Little wonder. I can tell you are good at it!

These low prices I set don't seem to be making a lot of difference in sales volume for me. Make I just make am as all die na die.

Lazy MFS, ordinary Sierra Leone una no fit win

I taya o. "Ordinary" Sierra Leone!

When I wanted to check the score on Google this morning, I first saw 4-0 and then something about Sierra Leone comeback.

Can't remember the last time I bothered to watch any of their matches. Once it's not showing on local TV, I just ignore. No time.

So you've decided again that then?

I don't think I will ignore a good, legit opportunity to japa sha. I need to experience some sanity.

Good one for Emmanuela and her family!

This should spur us to keep going and not necessarily to do the same thing. Let's not involve in dubious or criminal activities just because we wish to do something like this.

Destinies are different.
