Last time we discussed about TV licence within hours they started sending me emails about it, i mentioned about a particular high street bank i use ..boom i received an email from the 'bank' about some juicy deals etc

Hello house, please I need help with credit card. So I have been in the UK for about one year now and I have been using Hsbc.

Each time I apply for a basic credit card with them, it keeps been rejected stating my credit record. The strange thing is I have never owned a credit card and I have tangible savings.

I have tried to do a credit check with Experian but they seem to have no record.

Is there a way I can get a credit card or fix this issue going on? I want to work on my credit score in preparation for when I decide on getting a mortgage soon.

There’s a loophole in the law that requires them to send the fine to you within a certain no of days if not you can dispute it.

I have just done an online application to the Nigerian high commision for renewal of my passport.
I saw one is no longer allowed to book appointments but advised to strictly attend the date provided on the payment receipt

I applied on 14th June and was given a date on the 22nd June.
I have never been there before, Moreso I am not familiar with London.

Can one call them to defer this date? What is the most convenient way to travel to london from West midlands ..Train or drive ?, I would actually prefer driving because of the COVID pandemic but I have heard a lot about driving in London, What about car park?
What time is best to arrive at the embassy?

As a first time buyer, i think you should start by meeting with a mortgage advisor. He/she will be able to inform and explain all the pros and cons of these schemes. Majority of the advisors do offer free consultations, i used mortgage advice bureau and it was free, insightful and helpful.
I wanted shared ownership at the start but when i was exposed to the challenges associated i changed my mind fast, some of them are inability to rent out or sublet the property, difficulty in getting lenders due to the complexity of the terms, if you eventually decide to sell (even with with the higher share) the housing provider has the right to buy back the property before it is marketed to anyone else, so that limits your options, and some others.

Share ownership is not bad IF you see a good one..i mean one with a higher ownership share..50% up is good as it helps you staircase easily.

Check how many years left on the leasehold, 99yrs up is good else it has little or no resable value .

Check the service charge and google council tax band of that post code else you will be in for a shock.

Unless expressly permitted by the housing association..you are not allowed to rent out share ownership property until you have 100% ownership but you can resale

Register with Help To Buy first if approved then open lifetime isa as Help To Buy is closed now.

If u want rent this cheap and u don’t mind relocating outside London. Check up north like Liverpool or Manchester. Another option is West Midlands, Birmingham 3 bedroom large house with private parking in very good area is about 600-650 monthly

Personally, I will rather have a £10/hr job outside London than £13/hr in London.
