efighter:To you, might is right, isn't it? I think the president only echoes the sentiments of the north without thinking about the effects on others. He is the president of Nigeria, not that of a section. As the president of a heregenous country like Nigeria, the president should aim at reconciliation, addressing of perceived injustices and healing of wounds, not issuing war threats. Thank you. |
ayokellany:Thank you very much sir. I quite agree with you. I for one, do not like the modus operandi of some Igbos towards this struggle for independence from Nigeria. I hereby use this medium to respectfully and politely reach out to you and other freedom loving tribes for your help in this regard. I sincerely apologise on behalf of my people for our aggressive attitude towards other well meaning tribes. God bless you. |
ayokellany:Since my people and yours hate each other so much, does it make sense to continue spending resources to stay by force with people who mutually hate each other? All Igbo's and others are saying is let us go peacefully. It is you who hate us yet do not want us to go that are calling for trouble and war perhaps because you have the advantage of the armed forces for now. Hmmmmm! Don't support evil so that......... God bless you. |
Throwback:You are wrong sir. Freedom sometimes comes with a price. It is usually darkest before the dawn. Read history books. Read the Biblical account of Pharoah, Egypt, Moses and Israel's eventual freedom. It was not easy at all. As for the elected representatives you mentioned, they are in the minority compared to other regions no thanks to state allocation per geopolitical zone, so they cannot get what they want through popular voting. As such, most of them are content with getting their own personal share of the proverbial national cake. We cannot be intimidated by the threats, blackmail, subjugation, arrest and killing of our people . Go back to history. Most oppressive regimes end up ruling to their own hurt and ending miserably. Eventually the oppressed get liberated. Remember Adolf Hitler, Saddam Hussein, Myanmar Ghaddafi, Idi Amin, Sani Abacha etc. We want to have our own country. The call for peaceful referendum and independence is not a call for war and unity is not by force. We want Biafra. Shikena! |
Kazim88:It beats my imagination how the quest for freedom which is our inalienable right, is tantamount to a call for war. It is people who do not want us to be free that equate struggle for freedom with war. So Nigeria actually declared war on Britain when our people were clamouring for independence and eventually got it 57 years ago? |
Jesusloveyou:So Fayose is not a Christian but you are by your statements, aren't you? It is not about Fayose or NNAMDI Kanu. It is between you and Jesus Who you are misrepresenting. I don't know the duo you mentioned and I am not after their innocence or otherwise. Their 'criminality' according to you or otherwise has not been proved but your blasphemy has. If there is anybody to pity, I think it should be you. Don't take my advice. You can continue sir! |
Jesusloveyou:Sir, can you please change this your moniker? You are becoming an embarrassment to this your 'Jesus loves you'. Unwary people might think these your comments are coming from a Jesus' follower without knowing that you are actually anti-Jesus. Jesus' true followers are saved from the sin of hatred, insults, verbal abuses, lies, and deceptive propaganda. They have responded to Jesus' love and grace and thus have been redeemed and their lives transformed. They are at liberty to support and vote for candidates of their choice but are not free to utter or type words of hatred. Sir, please change this your 'Jesus loves you' if you want to continue these your anti-Christian comments. If you don't, Jesus will show you what He showed Paul of Tarsus on His way to Damascus! It is not a joke. Thank you. |
vedaxcool:Thank you very much. My joy is that there are consequences for your actions and mine as you earlier opined. I don't rely on the politicians of this world for justice for you cannot give what you do not have. I rely on the God of heaven Whose views are not coloured by sectional interests neither cannot He be deceived by lies and propaganda. |
vedaxcool:So you know there are consequences for people's actions. If you actually do, you will not support oppression by those in power now. |
profolaolu:Amen. And you too bro. May the Lord keep us in His truth, righteousness and grace till we see His face in heaven I J N, Amen. |
An2elect2:Before I joined Deeper Life Bible Church, I heard so many unprintable things which people used to say about the Church but such never dissuaded me. I knew that there were a few members who might not be born again, sanctified or living according to the undiluted teachings of Pastor W F Kumuyi (in every 12, there might likely be a Judas) but generally I love their decency, decorum and moderation. I was drawn to the Church by the teachings, consistency and exemplary lifestyle of pastor Kumuyi. Most of those criticisms and allegations against Deeper Life members is born out of malice because of what is perceived as their judgemental or somewhat 'holier than thou' attitude. Rightly or wrongly, most Deeper Life members believe that there is no other Church that teaches the truth like them. So people get pissed off and as such attack them furiously, exaggerating any real or perceived wrong doing on the part of any Deeper Lifer. Coming to the issue, lately, the daughter of one the leaders in Deeper Life in my District was given out in marriage in a controversial circumstance. The leader was not excommunicated. But if the son or daughter is yet a child, perhaps a teenager and does something embarrassing to the family and the Church, it is believed that the parents should be able to have such in subjection and as such, sanctions can be imposed in form of temporary suspension from functioning as a leader for some time. Most of the people who criticize Deeper Life like myself end up getting saved and becoming a member or becoming a member and getting saved. |
dalaman:Sir, I happen to be a teacher. In my class, there are very intelligent, averagely intelligent and dull students. At the end of the term, all the students are tested. From experience, I know those who will likely pass and those who will likely fail. However, it wrong for me to announce those who do well and those who do not without a verifiable test. Although I know what the results will likely be, the students and their sponsors must be shown the scorecard for them to know that I was not biased in my assessment. God knows those who will pass and those who will not. Yet He allows the test or trial of faith. The case of Job is a typical example. God knew that Job would pass the test. He even boasted concerning Job to Satan. Satan wanted to prove God wrong which was the basis of Job's intense calamities and sufferings. But thanks be to God. Job's end was better as he was compensated after passing the test. May we all pass every test that comes our way I J N, Amen. |

doyinbaby:OK ma. Sorry for addressing you wrongly. I know it is not easy for an aged woman or even man to find another spouse at such an age. But we are talking about heaven, about one's eternal destiny which counts above temporary ease or discomfort. I believe that the purpose why one repents is no make heaven. Jesus Christ even used the parable of a man planning to build a tower or a king preparing for war to illustrate how one needs to count the cost if he or she is deciding for Christ. But one thing is sure, God Who is gracious knows how to lessen the burden or solve the seemingly intractable situations a new convert may find himself/herself. Trust God, He knows how to help your mother or anybody in such a precarious situation. He has done it for countless number of people. Thanks. |
bishopjoe02:If you read in between the lines sir, you will observe that he was sorry for making that statement. When a Christian leader such as Paul was rebuked for a statement he made and he replied that he did not know the person he adressed was the High Priest (otherwise he wouldnt have said that), he was withdrawing his earlier statement. In other words, he made a redress. This is in consonance with humility, a Christian virtue. You are right in your assertion that the Bible did not tell us that Paul apologized. It was inferred. Thanks. |
KanuJEWSarePIGS:You are welcome sir. |
doyinbaby:That you don't agree with it doesn't make it false doctrine sir. Monogamy does not apply only the leadership except heaven is meant for only the leaders. Yes, the children belong to their parents but living with a second husband or marrying more than one wife at a time is adultery. Thanks. |
bishopjoe02:Read your Bible sir. The incident I was referring to happened after Paul's conversion. He was defending himself before the High Priest who asked that he (Paul) should be smitten for s statement he made. Paul replied that God will smite him calling him a whited wall. Someone around reminded Paul that it was the High Priest he was addressing like that. Paul subsequently apologized (Acts 23:1-5). This is an aspect of restitution. Others include apologising for lies told against a person and making redress etc. Restitutions are not only for sins committed when we were not saved. Even after we are saved, we make restitutions eg for lies told (may be under pressure) or to those we misrepresented. |
bishopjoe02:You are wrong sir. Restitution is not a way of obtainining righteousness through the law. Rather, it is a way of clearing ones conscience after one is born again. Paul apologized to the high priest he reviled which is part of restitution. Restitution includes returning stolen property in one's possession, separating from second wife or from being a second wife or third wife, apologising to those whose relatives were kiled during robbery or assasination etc. Some restitutions are very sensitive and as such require prayers and the grace of God. |
mo9ice:Of course, Jesus has saved them from sin and that is why they are can do restitution. Yes, you do not package yourself before coming to Christ. Rather you come to Jesus the way you are and He saves you after which you cannot remain a sinner. You also do necessary restitutions to have s conscience void of offence towards God and man. |
KanuJEWSarePIGS:Well, I said that because you found fault with my I J N, accusing me of using I J N to support hatred. Your allegation has no basis because from my comments on this forum, there is nowhere I have endorsed hatred or killing of anybody, group or tribe. So I deduced that you were probably among those who might be caught on the wrong side of my innocuous prayers. My apologies for misrepresenting you and other well meaning people. I stand for freedom, justice and peace. Some IPOB members certainly have been involved in hate speeches and name calling just like their One Nigeria crusading counterparts, l do not support that. Neither do I support the killing and intimidation of our people for advocating for self determination. I only support IPOB in their genuine quest for Biafran peaceful independence from Nigeria. May God bring it to pass and may Biafra become an African industrial giant in the nearest future as Christ tarries I J N, Amen. |
AntiWailer:Sir, truth be told you care so much for the people you term terrorists to continue with you. Your armed forced are ready to shed blood for 'terrorists' to continue being part of your One Nigeria. Is it not an irony. Since Biafra is yet part of Nigeria and Biafrans still paying tax, then representatives from our part of the country will continue to occupy those positions you mentioned. Let there be a referendum to determine whether our people want to remain Nigerians or not. Those governors, senators, ministers and other politicians can decide to vote in favour of One Nigeria but they will cease to occupy such positions in Nigeria I bet you. The reason being that majority of our people want out of Nigeria which you know. But your army will rather waste lives than to allow us go. Is it because without us life will miserable to you? Be sincere, are so important to you. Biafra is not about Mazi NNAMDI KANU. With or without him, what will be with be. The agitation for Biafra actualization precedes this particular APC administration. Raph Uwazurike led MASSOB during Olusegun Obasanjo's civilian PDP government. However, our quest to be on our own became more pronounced now for obvious reasons. The point is this. If IPOB are terrorists according to your tagging, then leave 'terrorists' alone to form their own country and 'terrorize' only themselves. Thanks. |
Ngokafor:Don't mind them. They call you terrorists, yet they are desperate to keep you. What kind of people is this? |
KanuJEWSarePIGS:I don't know about the so called search for Hausa's to kill and maim neither do I know about the killing of anybody. I am not hiding under any prayer to support hatred or killings. Of course, no one can use God or prayers for politics. If you are afraid of my prayers, then stop your evil intentions or activities. May God judge those who support killing of any form if they refuse to repent I J N, Amen. I do not support hatred neither do I support injustice, violence or killing on the part of IPOB, if any. The only thing I support about IPOB's activities is the demand for referendum so that Biafra can peacefully secede from Nigeria. May those who want Hausas, Yorubas, Igbos or any other tribe to be killed for fighting for their rights and freedom be judged and put to shame if the persist I J N, Amen. May those who want peaceful secession live to get it actualised I J N, Amen. |
KanuJEWSarePIGS:Just accept that you people are wrong in your obsession of forcing and threatening our lives over unity by force against our will. The continued unity of a country is not written in any of the Holy Books. We Biafrans are leaving Nigeria peacefully by the grace of God. It doesn't make us enemies. May God bless those who allow us enjoy our rights of freedom and self determination without war and judge those who are harming and or want to harm us as a result I J N, Amen. Thanks. |
KanuJEWSarePIGS:Thanks. You can see that you made no sense in your assertion that we all must return to the East for Biafra to be actualized. Most businesses in present day Nigeria are owned by foreigners. Nigerians equally have businesses in other countries. But according to the unity by force agitators, it is only the businesses of Biafrans that should be folded or forfeited in the event we leave Nigeria. It shows how desperate, crude, greedy and ignorant some One Nigeria advocates can be. We can't be intimidated by your threats. Biafra will come to pass by the grace of God. |
KanuJEWSarePIGS:Thanks for your 'love speech'. I can see that you are God, so you determine what will be and what will not. You do not hate us yet you want us killed for our 'sin' of wanting to be on our own. I know there are Judases, backstabbers and saboteurs in every tribe. Biafra is much more than NNAMDI KANU. He is just the main arrowhead in the struggle for now. The point is, you do not choose or recommend who should lead us because you do not desire our independence. Biafra will see the light of day with or without NNAMDI Kanu by the grace of God. |
baby124:Stop threatening Igbos with genocide. How are you sure you will not even die before most of us? And all of us will eventually die. NNAMDI KANU is a freedom fighter. He is not fighting war to get Biafra independence. Despite all your tagging borne out of hatred and malice, IPOB is not NEVER a terrorist organisation. We are only agitating for peaceful separation from Nigeria under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. It appears some people are terrorised by the prospect of Biafrans leaving Nigeria, hence their shouting of terror!, terror!! Let me tell you, killing NNAMDI KANU will not stop Biafra from coming to pass. A lot of notable South African freedom fighters were killed but Apartheid eventually came to an end. May those who want peaceful independence from Nigeria live to get it actualized and may those who want to kill NNAMDI KANU or any Biafran for wanting peaceful separation from Nigeria be judged by God Himself I J N, Amen. |
KanuJEWSarePIGS:We shall all return to the 'Igbo man's East' when all your kinsmen, relations and tribesmen return to your region and when it becomes an international law that all foreigners must return to their native countries. Don't you think it is people who reason like you, who think all Biafrans must return to their land for Biafra to be actualized that are really confused? Unity is not by force. Biafra must be by His grace. |
KanuJEWSarePIGS:If courageous and uncompromising NNAMDI KANU is not the right man for the Biafra project, then it must be one of those one Nigeria crusaders who sell their people for political advantage that should. I don't know how those who hate us arrogate to themselves the right to choose our leaders for us. What kind of people would they recommend? Your guess is as good as mine. What if I tell your family that you are not the right person to marry your wife and father your children? May be you should be removed while I come in. How about that? Mind your own business sir. Thanks. |
KanuJEWSarePIGS:It is only the One Nigeria propagandists that tag IPOB a terrorist group. It is an irony that you are so bent on staying together with people you so much hate, tell lies against, tag terrorists as to sanction their extermination when the real terrorists are left to roam free. It doesn't make sense. We are no longer staying with you people. Unity is not by force. |
