You think Nigeria's public service is child's play? You must have the heart of lion to succeed in any endeavor in Nigeria. Ordinary civil servants watch their back constantly to retain their job not to talk of promotion.

The fact that you cried over those saga shows you were not qualified to head such important position. Look at our communication minister, he has been attacked twice more than you yet he stays put. NOI was severely attacked by powers that be because of her fight against the opaque method of conducting business... Yet she stood her ground.

I'm not saying you shouldn't have resigned, but in Nigeria, you should have fought back or at least accept defeat without crying

I'm just wondering:

Amechi is a very influential member of Buhari's cabinet. With presidency zoned to the south by APC, many people are speculating that Amechi might just be the favorite candidate of PMB.

The influence of Wike within the PDP cannot be overemphasized. With the understanding that their ticket will be zoned to the South and having already declared his interest in the race.

What if both Amechi and wike successfully win their respective party primaries? What will be the outlook of 2023 election? Is there a possibility of that happening? How will that affect the dynamics of the election?

I wonder why successive governments in Nigeria have refused to create wealth from already existing natural resources we have. We have oil in abundance, why can't we create wealth by refining it? We have abundant gas reserve, why is there still scarcity of gas? We have gold, why do we still import gold at high price? Do we need to wait for foreigners to invest in our gas exploration before we start making money from it?

This Russia-Ukraine conflict should be a perfect avenue for Nigeria to earn a lot of FOREX by selling oil at higher price, but unfortunately, whatever we make will still be used in paying subsidy because we can't refining our oil. If we had invested in gas exploration, by now most EU members would have turned to Nigeria...

I live in a public compound. I on my gen anytime I like, but I make sure I off it by 11 pm and don't on it again till it's 6 am. I do it for the consideration of other neighbors especially those that don't have gen. They all deserve peaceful sleep at night.

It depends on what you're comparing. The price of new Caris with the price of 03 Corolla? 2021 Corolla is almost N20,000,000 while brand new IVM Caris was about 5 million last year

You don't understand how it works

Let me show you how it works

Case 1:
We produce crude oil a cost, pay for shipping to overseas, pay for refining, pay for taxes abroad, pay export duties abroad, pay for shipping to bring it back. In the end we have a landing cost of about N500/liter of PMS. Then government pay 300 as subsidy while we pay 200...

Case 2:
We produce crude oil and Chanel it to refinery. We pay for refining and tax while creating jobs, we then send it straight to depot. In this case we are not paying for shipping to and fro abroad, we're not paying export duties and taxes abroad in dollars. How much do you think fuel will cost to warrant subsidy?

This era of "oil boom" should be a blessing to oil producing countries. But the reverse is the case with Nigeria. After all the change campaign, Buhari could not renovate a single refinery let alone build a new one. The little gain from high oil prices will still be wiped out with subsidy.

But who will help Nigeria? God? Tinubu? Atiku? Wike? Rochas? Umahi? Osibanjo? The answer is:

None of them.

He has such cars in abundance. Example: IVM Caris (the most beautiful car by IVM, IVM Umu, IVM Ikenga etc. He even has a minibus (7 carriers). But like I said, he should make them reachable by the masses

Innoson has no reason to fail again.

IVM has enjoyed massive patronage by government at different levels at different times. Peter obi paid upfront for hundreds of IVM products, Rochas purchased a lot of IVM vehicles. Many governors and even the federal government have given priority to IVM both in the past and in the present.

This gesture of governor Soludo will go a long way to boost demand for IVM by members of Anambra top echelon who would do it simply to curry favor from the governor. This reminds me of the increased demand for green cap during the brief reign of former governor Ihedioha of Imo.

I want to commend IVM for their steadfastness so far. I equally want to remind them that government patronage alone will not sustain them in business in the long run. They should also give attention to the needs of their non government customers. They can achieve this by bringing the specifications and price of their products to the public domain. Currently there are little or no information about their vehicles in public domain
