Growing up in the 80s, I saw what love, generosity, selflessness and loyalty were. Life from Y2K onward is not just strange but disturbing. Nothing is done for gratis anymore. Every gesture now is a bait. Even love now is transactional. People don't help, even their close relatives without expecting something in return.

It's a fvcked up society

Dear El-rufai, you speak like you're not part of the problem but we know better. Let's say, the exclusivity of policing to the federal government has made it difficult for you and your likes to solve security issues in your various states. A quick question: what have you done in those aspects that are in the concurrent list? Have you made education world class in your state? Have you made health care system world class in your state? Have you developed science and technology in your state to world class? Have you built and maintained all the state roads in your state? What specific problem have you given wholistic and permanent solution in your state? But you all easily have advice in matters beyond your control as if policing will get any better if decentralized.

All you politicians should be ashamed to speak in public. One you did empowerment with rabbit the other day.

1.When I was a bike rider, I once visited a friend in a distant city. After taking a lot of bottles I decided to go home late at night. I picked a passenger that was going my way. After he accepted to pay N1500, we set out for the journey. For three times we fell down in slow motion. I would see the pothole, match break, then fall down slowly even before getting to the spot.

2. As a hustler then at school, I bought a bicycle that enabled me move quickly from one point to the other especially inside school. On that faithful day it rained heavily and there was flood everywhere. Just in front of my department where everyone was, I hit a stone and failed inside flood. The scream; the laughter; the looks... I just picked my bicycle and headed straight to home

Venerealisles:
So this year my family decided we were gonna come back to naija early for the Xmas celebrations, we also wanted to do Thanksgiving in Nigeria hence the early arrival.

Well, we were back home in Lag, so I decided to go hang out with some of my long time friends, and what I saw shocked me ooh. They were really big now, felt like they were way older than me. angry To make matters worst, I senior them pretty damn well, but my tiny physique just makes them think otherwise. embarassed

The last straw that broke the camel back was when I went over to my cousin's place, only for my Aunt to start saying stuffs like "I look like a toothpick" she even went as far as saying I should start eating enough beans!! Chaii I have suffered .

I will be 25 by December, but yet most people I come across still think I am a teenager, Little did they know that the so called teenager is the owner of a business in Lagos and also a degree holder.

Inspite of my achievements, I feel what they are saying is beginning to get to me, i can't change the way I look, if I could, I'd probably add more height to my physique grin.
Baby girl, your physique is perfect. If I could, I'd exchange anything I own to have you. My dream woman. Never you make any mistake of trying to add any bs. You're perfect

[s]Most Nigerians are dumbass fool. They claim to be educated yet ordinary economic 101 remains elusive. [/s]The only thing Nigeria exports is crude oil or fossil fuel. If crude oil market terminates tomorrow, most Nigerians will turn into cannibals. Trump supports the product of crude oil while dumb bell called Biden had promised to close crude oil market in 5. Do Africans really think? I do not think so.
No, Nigerians like you cannot politely express their opinion without insult; they lack home training. But as elders, we will continue to live by example. So let me ignore your ill manner and educate you.

If Trump wins reelection, he has only four years to rule. As to whether the use of crude oil will ever be discontinued, the answer is a resounding YES. Bidden presidency will not close crude oil market, in fact America even under Trump is no longer interested in Nigeria's oil. Bidden will only kick-start a process that will begin a decline in the need for crude oil, a process Trump's presidency will only delay.

Now whether the use of crude oil remains till another century or ends tomorrow, it will not affect our government's policies; they will not diverfy unless the dollar stops coming. The earlier crude oil becomes useless the better for us and out future generation

Naamiakpe is a hardcore tribalist, no surprise here if the mods ban him for 10 thousand years.
nwaamaikpe is a nonconformist, but I don't care. I get so much entertained by his style; he says his mind unapologetically. He doesn't reply mentions, he doesn't care how you feel, he is not a hypocrite; he tells you things the way he sees it and does it. He doesn't care about conventional ideas especially as it relates morality. If you ban him, when he comes back he doesn't complain. He doesn't create alternate account as many do.

If he is a car, he has no steering wheel.

I don't care much about those things he says; I don't judge him either. But I really look forward to reading his entertaining style of communication. I'm equally falling in love with that damn nigarr guy

Is there anything wrong for Nigerians to support Trump? If you believe in 7 as shown in your post, why do you ask about support for Trump?
ask yourself: how has Trump's presidency affected Nigerians and their economy? How does not believing that Nigeria will be better influence support for Trump?

FamilyRe: Do You Have Any Friend (please Join In This Conversation ) by uncleck:
I used to have many friends especially females. People easily confided in me. I have this reputation that made people comfortable sharing their secrets with me. Many group of friends adopted me into their circles at one time or the other. Let me share one particular story.

There was this popular group of friends during my school days. The major components of this group were two girls. This girls were really good. Their personality attracted lots of good people to them and they built this enviable group of friends comprising of both male and females. Their personality was the unifying force. Both girls were much like twins. They lived together, cooked together, travel together and do everything together. The only difference was that they were in different departments. One was in a serious relationship while the other was not.

When the two girls became my friends, all those friends of theirs became my friends too. Not long, I started playing the big brother role which is part of my charisma. At a point both friends started having issues. A relationship that started since they were in J S2 was threatened and a lot of secrets were involved . The group split into two, with everyone taking sides with any of the two of them.

Meanwhile I was still the big brother so both camps were fighting for my support. In less than no time each of them revealed very chilling secrets against the other in a bid to win my sympathy. Laughably, each of them was thinking that the other could not betray her by revealing much guarded secrets, so if she told me her own side of the story, I might be moved to take side with her. Within few weeks I had heard enough confession from each of them.

At a point, their quarrel was threatening both families peace. So a joint meeting of both families and notable friends and relatives was summoned to see how peace could be achieved. I already knew too much about both of them. None of them knew what I have heard about them. I never gave any of them any impression that I have heard anything at all about their secrets. So on the meeting day, being the only one that understood the depths of their grievances, and fearing what will happen should they ever come to know what each of them have done to win the other, I suggested to the people that there should be no effort to reconcile them. They didn't understand why, but they trusted me and adhered to my advice.

Before this time, the one in serious relationship was preparing for her wedding. If I ever opened up the can of worm, there was no way the wedding could have been held. Even the guy that was to marry her, had a lot of skeleton in his cupboard. The other girl was to be the chief bridesmaid and her clothe was already made, but she never attended the wedding again.

Six years have gone, with both ladies married with kids, their animosity is still as strong as it were six years ago; they are scared of crossing parts. They have so avoided each other that since then, they have never seen each other face to face.

Both of them are still my friends till today. But never have I told any of them a minute fraction of what they told me against each other. If God bless me with money, I will reconcile those two good women.
NYSCRe: Orientation Course A Lifetime Experience - Grace Akpabio, Ondo NYSC Coord by uncleck: 7:42pm On Nov 15, 2020
Orientation course is an ideal lifetime experience. Sadly, we live in a realist society.

Reality takes away all the home training we received as kids.

Reality robbed us of all the lessons we learnt in our different courses in school.

Reality makes us forget all that the preacher said the moment we step outside the church /mosque.

Reality makes orientation course useless the moment we leave the camp.

Idealism is dream; realism is reality.

Sleeping with children is like eating a day old chick. The thought of it alone can make me want to puke.

For the first time in more than a decade, I got a gift from someone. I'm an extrovert. But when it comes to my personal issues, I'm very secretive. At the beginning of my problem many years ago, I tried to reach out to my buddies but they all turned me down. Since then, my personal problem is the last thing I share with anybody.

Few days ago I created this post https://www.nairaland.com/6249966/lamentations-bitter-man I could not even rant with my main account, I feel ashamed. So I created this account. I just needed to vent of my frustration, albeit anonymous. To my surprise, a nairalander contacted me. Surprisingly he asked for my account number. I sent because my situation is very messy. Few minutes thereafter I got alert. In more than a decade, no one has ever given me gift aside a boxer my one time girlfriend got for me.

Mr Goodman, you don't know what you did for me. I could no longer buy recharge card because I borrowed with all my lines; I used that money to pay back all my network providers. I feel unusual happiness in me right now as though my problem has vanished. Thank you once again.
