I miss this school, the annoying porters of Queen Elizabeth,II hall, faculty of arts and the great Modern European Studies department. I miss Lord Tedder hall cafeteria... God bless the prestigious University of Ibadan, let no one come for me o especially those wey finish from OAU, Unilorin, ABU, UNIZIk and UNILAG.

Hmph, I can relate, I had no where to go so I stayed there till after secondary school, in your case you've got parents so it's either you go back home, endure and be happy or you stay back, endure and be sad.

I have some questions here
1- how did she quickly spot the knife?
2-f the knife wasn't close by then why didn't she use the time to bolt out of the house?
3- did she scream for help and nobody helped her?
4- Room? What was she doing in there? (Probably chores?)
Who told her that the first thing to be considered during rape was to stab?
5- I doubt if that'd be first time such would be happening (if it really did happen), if it's not then why hasn't she confided in her parents (well, not parents would believe), why didn't she stop going to help him out even if the parents had asked her to continue?

I have more questions but...
I do not subscribe to rape (I am a lady and will have my own child so never!! Even if I was male and wouldn't have a child it still isn't subscribed to), however, I believe proper investigation should be carried out and if found guilty then na as per juvenile then go take judge am, she should be made to see a psychologist.

In my opinion I don't think there's anything wrong with it. I can't be 27 and still be living with FAM. I think living alone helps one grow, become more mature and more responsible and accountable. It's not every female who stays alone that is promiscuous, I fancy such after service. Some ladies have their own shit together.

While I was out on my first date with my girlfriend, she asked me how many sibling I have, to which I replied. She then proceeded to ask the number of males and females. Then I told her I only have sisters. That moment, her face dropped because we were already Into each other, I could tell she was disappointed.

She tried to hide this, but I noticed. This was Probably because that wasn't the first time I would be getting that reaction from people especially women the moment I tell them I'm the only son of my parents.

I queried her on her sudden change of mood and she told me that she has had unfavorable relationship experiences (twice) in the past with only Sons and has vowed never to try it again. She reasoned that only Sons are too clingy to their families, overpampered, emotionally needy and dependent on their families and hardly have a mind of their own. She also accused the families of always trying to pilot the affairs of the guys even to the extent of making life changing decisions for them.

When i was young, I also had friends who thought I was pampered, showered with extraordinary love and care and that my parents can't turn down any request from me. But the truth is that I never got any special treatment from my parents. The same curtain wire, broom, hanger my mom used to whip my sisters, she also used on me.

My point is that it's unfair to lump people together and label them. If an only son happens to be clingy, it has nothing to do with his status. He would have still been that way if he had 10 brothers.

So I was once with an only son (his mum) and she's the reason we're no longer together.

Hello dear nairalanders.

Please I'm going through a state of mental confusion.

Currently i have approximately 20 million and 300 thousand naira in my bank account.

I have two thoughts.

1) I am 25 years old but I'm not a university graduate, i only have ND (National deploma) from a polytechnic In Edo state, Auchi precisely.

I would have become a graduate years ago but after my "ND" years ago, i refused to go back to school and i decided to hustle for money.

Most of my classmates in school back then are all graduates but all the same, looking at my bank account now, i have no regrets.

So this is what i plan on doing.

1) Can i further my Education In any university in the United States with the money and plan on staying back after my degree, for the fact that I'm 25.
Will that be advisable?

2) should i stay back in Nigeria and use part of the money to build a house In my hometown in Benin and use the rest for business?

3) Is there a chance of going to USA and start all over again, look for job.
Will the money be enough to rent a house, foot some bills untill i see a job in the USA.

Note i choose USA only because it's my dream country, I'm not scared of the traveling ban because I'm 100% confident that it will be taken away few months from now.

Please i won't be replying any mention or questions.

All i want is to take note of good advice.

I already know a reliable traveling agent.

Please other suggestions are welcomed apart from mine.

Give me that money, I'll complete my late father's house with about 2 million naira then rent it out. Then I'll buy acres of land in remote places where land can be gotten at ridiculously cheap prices and just go into cocoa, plantain, palm kernel etc farming. Then I'll go into food and cleaning business. Change go still remain for oo.
Bro you had better stay back at home and do business. Just pray, think well on the business to do and be patient, don't eat with all your fingers and be consistent. Don't be scared of taking risks and losing. 25 million is a whole lot of money, don't mismanage it and no go carry girls when you don start oooo. I'm curious though.

UB bro, I think your main focus should be expanding your business. Most ladies are liability so if you decide to date this one, you'll not only have you and your family to fend for but another lady (though she might run the business well, I cat tell).
