I am still trying to check the word REVOLUTION. IT sounds radical.
In the 1700's only a handful of aristocrats were holding the entire wealth of France. They were eating cake and chicken.
The masses were not eating anything.
No health care. Nothing

One-day they rose up, captured all the rich people and cut off their heads.
They used a big knief called a guillotine knief
They invented it.
If you go to any cyber cafe/photocopy centre, you'll see a moderns day guillotine used for cutting stacks of paper
The original was invented in France during the French revolution.

That is why France doesn't have wretched poverty anymore. At least government provides for all citizens.

Truth be told, I have been out to 9 different countries in the past two years and can categorically tell you Nigeria is a mess and only a revolution will help, for the first time today I experience power failure outside Nigeria and was restored within 5 minutes
Bro, I'm sorry. Nigeria is in such a mess that Nigerians don't realise it anymore.
It's like that thing they say: if you throw a frog in hot water, it will immediately jump out and escape
But if you put it in cold/normal water, then start heating up the water slowly, the frog will remain there. By the time the water starts boiling, the frog will be dead.

First our Education sector was busted. It has now changed to certificate collection centre
There's no emphasis or reward for the application of education/sense in the whole Nigeria

So all out problems continue to increase and kill us right here inside Nigeria

what does your silly comment have to do with what he said?

the stress is too too much in Lagos

that's the fact
He hates Lagos because of traffic....
If gala sellers and other street hawkers hate Lagos too, maybe they will stop entering Lagos from other states and causing the traffic where they depend on to sell their wares as well.

Am I clearer now?

Kudos my guy I think the best thing is to develop other states seaports in other to reduce stress and cost of living here...
Who does the development?
As a guy, I believe you can arrange your house.
If power reach, can do your compound.
If you still have energy, you need to gather your neighbours/association and fix up your street.
You need to be a heavy big boy to fix up your estate. And that's the highest power a single fellow has
The state roads are in the hands of the government and if those roads remain erroded and impassable, vehicles and business cannot function.
That's why people will still run out and back to Lagos.
Other state governments need develop their states as individuals cannot do this

They obviously don't advertise it as that
You fall into debt or something. You see no way out. One of them comes and pays off your debt. You are grateful. Next thing, you owe him/them.
You must pay back...you must join cult or else they go and take their money/ help back.

Nice but will it still look like this in 10 years' time or will our usual non-maintenance culture come into play? Time will tell but I will not hold my breath. Every time I pass through MMA I nearly always weep. This used to be one of the most beautiful airports in the world modelled after Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam but look at it now? A truly embarrassing national edifice.
Your answer is certain. It will break down before 10years
There is enough example around to show that we are not a maintenance country.
And I till believe that nobody is addressing that issue.
Maintenance involves setting up industries that produce spare parts of existing models/products. And then advertising such maintenance service.
We on the other hand still advertise NEW products

That's why it's 500 naira... so if you won't buy from the roadside, then you'll pay heavily for it buying from the mall. At the end of the day, most persons would still rather buy from the roadside. Fresh and hot! cheesy
The mall own is not Nigeria corn. It's imported.

But why, no security.

This country matter tire person o..
It's all a mindset.
Which mind are using to look at security man?
Do you see him houseboy or as body guard?

If you take security to be a common houseboy and proceed to pay him houseboy wages, well we now have internet and Facebook. His eye will open to possiblities and feel that you are treating him bad. Then he turn against you and let the robbers finish you

What we have to do now is see security men as body guard and pay them accordingly with respect. So they guard you seriously.

Na so houseboy comot from my house. Just wake up one day, open gate Waka comot. We didn't even know he has left. His brother must have been telling him on phone or Facebook. I no wan employ houseboy again or security either.

Common sharrap. Wildlife that is invading domestic life?

The only wildlife that deserves to be preserved is wildlife that remains wild. Not wildlife that is threat to human life or property.

I don't support the eating of snakes though.

I'm an environmentalist.
I know Nigerians mean well and always want to copy western nation one way or another. Western countries have a lot of beef and chicken. Very cheap and affordable. Everyone can eat meat to their filling.

That's why they don't see it sensible to kill and snake and other wildlife.
Nigeria, we don't have comparable amount and affordable meat/chicken. So people don't waste time to eat wildlife, snake, dolphin, etc .

Take same guy to America, let him eat burger 24/7, then put snake in his house. He won't eat that snake again. He'll call RSPCA/PETA

I use my phone, watch YouTube videos, learn about carpentry and metal work from the westerners and put that to partice and earn a living.

My grand father was paddling a canoe in the rivers of the delta. His father, was a hunter.
My grandad supplied palm fruit to the British in barrels. They used to take argic produce back to UK then and needed locals to gather it to the port in Warri/Delta region.

The south has nothing. No donkey, no camel. Nothing.
Just carry your load on your head and be waka-ing about on foot.

Horses are found in the north and not in the south.
Horses have been the movers of industry and the military for millennia.

If after 100 years you haven't known a particular thing, then either you are not serious about it, or you just don't want to learn it.
