Beer parlour talk is no talk. |
Those women: did they put "married" on their faces? Nay....high class cheaters don't go to five star hotels because of too much visibility. They go to small high class guest houses in very secluded area. I know where Eucharist Anunobi used to go before. Off course I was one of them but thank God for Jesus. Nobody should attack me ooo. Old things have passed away. |
A living dog is better than a dead lion so says the scriptures. |

Sarah called Abraham Lord. |
@greenie77 Well captured. It's been a while! @me Yeah.... You know our lives. Too many things at the same time. Miss you but don't know why. |
@greenie77 ........You have been dating a lady for 4 years, she do sleep over at your place, she vists your mum, marriage is in the air BUT YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN HER MOTHER who lives in the same Lagos with you? @me I thought along this line. Low self-esteem by the family as a result of poor economic status and lack of respect for the family by the young man. |
Women are built to absorb more than men. They easily can multitask. They let emotions out easily and this helps them. Men bottle their emotions in and this choke their system. Women easily seek for advice and this allows them to let out. Men generally assume the all-knowing status and this damages their health. |
@Kirkman Yeah bro, you have a big duty on your hands to help her find her father, start by asking her and her mother questions and take it up from there. Heaven will reward you greatly. @me Thank you. That's exactly what I plan to do. First is to give her emotional fatherly support. I know that it will not be easy but God will help me. |
All these single parenting, the man or woman involved don't think of the impact on the children. When a child is raised by a single parent that child misses some love and impact. Last Monday the youths in my church had their regular weekly service. As they rounded off I came out of the office to see their leader. I noticed that a young girl in early twenties sat on the chair close to the door. She sat alone and faced the wall. After seeing their leader I went to her and I noticed that she was crying even though she tried to cover up. I took her to the office and after a lot of efforts she opened up and told me that she was missing her father. She said that she works in the hospital and that she sees families come to the hospital and she will be asking herself when will her own complete family walk in like this. Long story short, the mother got married to the father and had four of them. She is number two. Grand mother spiritual issues made the father to abandon them. The father is still alive but they have never sighted him for years. Even the last one doesn't know him. She said that the mother cries sometimes but she doesn't want them to see her. She said that her greatest wish is to see her father around her as she watches others with their fathers. Her mother is not a member of my church. My church is large. Obviously I don't know her. She said that she started attending the church two months ago. You will agree with me that I have a big work on my hands. |
Prayer is communication between a child of God and God. No two friends exist without talking to each other regularly. The scriptures says that we should pray without ceasing. Something must be definitely wrong when a true believer finds it difficult to pray. Irrespective of your activities and position in the church, the question is are you a true believer? If you are sure you are then a retreat is recommended to fire your spirit up. It's unthinkable to find a good Christian that finds it difficult to study(not read) his Bible regularly. The revelations that come to you each time you study the Bible is ever fresh. It is not a good sign in Christianity to go low after you have gone high in service to God. Anybody that finds the above easy has a question mark in his Christianity. Don't be deceived by the initial breakthroughs you receive when you do this. They are the tricks of the devil. What you are experiencing could be danger signals. The enemy will never be happy when you are fervent in the things of God. He will sow the seed of lukewarmness. Remember the Laodicean church in the book of Revelation. Pastors are advised to spice up their service. Include varieties because the church is made of human beings. Jesus told Peter to feed his flock. The food must not be junk food. Messages should vary while maintaining the main line which is our Lord Jesus Christ. Recommendations ~ take a retreat for some days to fire your spirit ~ listen to Christian songs regularly. ~ reduce your activities so that you can have more time. ~ study (not read) your Bible. This will involve using different material. ~ if the doctrine of your church is sound, don't leave but spice up by listening to good preachers online. ~ in a respectful way suggest to your pastor to spice up his service. I'm a senior pastor in RCCG. I'm pic of a province headquarters parish. I allow my congregation to be hungry for my messages, teachings and programs. So I don't preach or teach all the time. I allow other ministers to handle some service. Do everything to enjoy working with your senior partner - the Holy Spirit. |
Can we have rest? If you believe in marriage then get married. If you don't believe in marriage then don't get married. It's a personal choice. Case closed. |
@Datboredberry Jesus didn't save your ancestors from being slaves... I don't believe some Arab ancestors holds any sort of love for you nor I... ![]() Just it's okay to believe so? @me The problem with atheists is that they claim not to believe in God but they believe in something |
#SaveMeLord Mr ( )A Christian's period of depression can not be compared with an atheist. It is short term and they don't go around looking for crystal methamphetamine, sex or alcohol to feel alive again or to numb the depression. Just some few words of prayer or Bible reading and we are ok ( Mr junkie)@me Bravo..... you nailed it |
It's satanic |
@zanoks The question was "If you can cancel a MARRIAGE because of church denomination" There is a great difference between marriage and wedding. When jesus attended the marriage ceremony in galilee was there any church service by any denomination ? So you can cancel your intended marriage because of denomination forgetting that this denomination thing is just pastors creating there own business enterprise because they need to be on their own not necessarily because of any belief......you come cancel marriage because of your pastor bussines not that she is of another religion (like muslim or hindu) same christianity and you are talking of faith......what is faith abi is our faith not in Christ Jesus as christians or is your own difinition of faith different from that of the bible. AFRICA and our mentality tire me!!! Even if it's of different RELIGION, that's where common sense and education comes in because the bible only condems it because it can lead you away from your faith ad a Christian just like the case of solomon and his queens who brought in a foreign gods into the palace and israel but today we have men of islamic faith married to Christian wives and they wives remained christians till date ,some even pastors. But in this case we are talking of denomination and marriage,so it's out right stupidity to let church come in between your choice of wife or husband. @me Read well before you respond. I commented and someone replied me citing the fact that tinubu and fashola are all Moslems but with Christian wives. That their children can take their own decisions. What you read was my reply to him and not to the topic in question. So, all that you wrote were off it. Stop hating pastors. Yes it's not advisable to marry outside a church with different doctrine. There are so many churches with different doctrine. Some of the doctrines are not scriptural. It is not right to have a family with a mix of doctrine. It's not right for the spiritual life of the family. FYI there is a difference between denomination and doctrine. Eg Pentecostal is a denomination but there are churches with diverse doctrine especially the small personal churches. I do not see much difference for example in doctrines of RCCG, Winners, Deeper Life, Dunamis, Church of God mission, CPM, Later Rain, Mountain of Fire etc. But there is a wide difference between the doctrines of the above and Catholic Church, Anglican Church, cele, cherubim and seraphim, Synagogue, Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints, oluba oluba etc. |
@emorse Tell them to show you where the Bible condemns drinking. Simple! @me Proverbs 20:1 ~wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise. Proverbs 23:20-21 ~ be not among wine bibbers, among riotous eaters of flesh. For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty and drowsiness shall clothe a man with rags. Proverbs 23:29-33 ~ Who hath woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who hath babbling? who hath wounds without cause? who hath redness of eyes? They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to see mixed wine. Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself alright. At the last it bitteth like a serpent, and sting like an adder. Thine eyes shall behold strange women and thine heart shall utter perverse things. Do you want more? |
@Liftkid so we wey dey east no dey drive again ? @me Bro I live in Lagos but I work in Aba. It's terrible. Short distance of 5 minutes drive can take you one hour. Today I was coming from osusu road to faults road, my Highlander bumper has gone. This is the real issue of Igbo land that IPOB should be chasing. The politicians have succeeded in making an average igboman to think that all his problems are buhari and Nigeria. Nobody is asking questions of how they have plundered Igbo resources. The problem of Igbo land is igboman. It will be worse if there is anything like Biafra. |
@tollyboy5 Children are left to decide while they grew up. They learn both practice from childhood and are well trained. My family interfaith marriage are very peaceful and the Muslim husband do go to church for prayers also. @me Your faith is supposed to influence your life and your ways of doing things. It's supposed to influence your attitude and your morality. How will a child cope with two faith? How will a family cope with two faith? |
@tollyboy5 Does it mean marriage? And how does it mean don't marry other faith? Is it a Sin to marry other faith. There are many inter faith marriage in My family and no issues. Tinubu a Muslim as a christian wife rccg pastor. Fashola a Muslim has a christian wife also. Are we not interpreting the bible out of context. @me These ones are not the ideal situation. Tinubu's wife became a member of RCCG while already married to him. You can imagine the same house with different spiritual beliefs. How will the children be brought up? While oluremi believed that there is heaven and hell and there is eternity, Tinubu's faith does not believe in any of these etc. |
@Bola146 I'm a member of RCCG Oyo 1 @me Correct girl. No wonder so much oil on your head. My oga is a picp in one of the Oyo provinces . Can't remember exactly the exact province. Pst Paul ojerinde. |
@greatiyk4u Lolz, no be the same christ they worship? @me It's not all houses that hold Bible and shout Jesus that you call church. What is the doctrine? Is it in line with the teachings of Christ and his disciples? Some have the likeness of Christ but they are not Christ. A sound Bible believing church is rested on sound doctrine. I don't want to mention names. |
@Mercychen D Happy married life. @me Do you like this version? |
