Exactly, men should learn and perfect the act of licking plate thoroughly like their life depends on it to avoid this kind of situation.

Most times I laugh at your comments....too realistic.

It's not about competition but economic viability otherwise some of them may become abandoned after commissioning.
FamilyRe: What Does It Mean To Have A Dream 3 Times That A Wife Left Her Husband ? by Vision101(m): 6:23pm On Nov 01, 2021
Dreams are very difficult to give a true interpretation. This is because dreams take place in the second heaven. Satan still operate there.

It could be a deceit. The faces and characters may not be the real persons. It could be as a result of your activities and thoughts during the day. It could be clear revelations from God.

When confused, just observe serious prayers, move on but be watchful.
FamilyRe: Why Are Most Parents Like This? by Vision101(m): 6:04pm On Nov 01, 2021
It's poverty and sometimes lack of sense of responsibility on the part of the parents. It pushes children to crime and indecent life.

In the language of the boys....this life no balance at all.

@Ulunne777

The children of the poor are not left out either.Go to the slums,if the kids are 100,less than 10percent turn out well.The rest turn to crime or where do the Agberos come from.Rich mans kids? Hell No!

@me
This is another argument. When you are born in a poor home you start life from a position of disadvantage. When you are born in a rich home you start life from a position of advantage.

For the former to breakthrough he must do fifty times the effort of the latter. The latter can do much less and he will still be successful.

The number of the poor that can muster the courage, pains and doggedness to breakthrough will always be few. That's why you still see agbaros, face-me-I-fight-you tenants etc.
FamilyRe: He's Addicted To Betnija. She Wants To Quite by Vision101(m): 5:37pm On Nov 01, 2021
Does she have any decent choice? Of course none. Marrying someone with gambling habit is serious red flag.

In the marriage she must be very careful with money issues. Hide income and savings from him. When he makes money follow him up bumper to bumper.

The woman must be strong.
FamilyRe: 1 by Vision101(m): 5:23pm On Nov 01, 2021
I laugh at people that say curses don't have any effect. What happened to Ruben? Some said that Jesus nailed all curses to the cross. I will say yes and no.

The fundamental is that there is what is called spiritual legality. God works with a set of rules and laws. Sometimes mercy suspends these laws for us.

For a curse to be effective or not to be effective within the bounds of Christianity there must be inherent rights that the person cursing must have. There must be duties that the person cursed failed to perform.

The effect of some curses might be immediate while others might take years to manifest. For example majority of children of Nigerian policemen don't do well. Majority of their wealth are wasted.

I don't have space I would have told you some personal experiences. I so much refrain from cursing no matter the provocation because I know the effect once I'm standing on the right spiritual right.

As a Christian you must have sanctified mouth for what you say to have power. Not a mouth that you have destroyed with mouth action.

@ Vision101, I'm impressed and your narrative made me smile. If I may ask was your reality of one child a conscious decision by you and your wife or an act of God? You don't have to answer, but I will appreciate it if you do.

@me
Yeah. After him my wife had miscarriage and I decided that one was ok. She didn't like it initially. After some years she asked for a girl either through her or adoption but I said no.

We trained the boy do what a boy and a girl can do. Washes, clean the house, cook etc. Mummy and son are enjoying it now.

We pray to God at the appointed time to give him a wonderful wife that we will call our daughter. Definitely the lady will enjoy it because it's a closely knitted Christian family.

I am in my 50s. Economically active. I have only a son. I'm okay. He is a mining engineer. The car he's using now is his second.

He buys things for me and the mum even when he knows that I can afford them. When the three of us go out we move like friends.

How about this?

Christianity EtcRe: When Last Have You Gone Over Sunday Messages You Wrote Down? by Vision101(m): 5:42am On Oct 25, 2021
@ObaKlaz
I just focus 100% in church then take in the sermons and allow the spirit of God to give me deeper insights beyond the sermons. The messages stay longer with me this way. Works for me always.

Taking notes in church is just a show of 'activity' for a lot of church goers as the notes will not be revisited until the next Sunday.

@me
A serious Christian should actually study the scriptures in the course of the week. The pastor's message offers a handy tool. It offers opportunity to digest and meditate on the message. One of the reasons for going to church on Sunday is to feed your spirit man.

That's why pastors must endeavour to deliver sound messages. The Bible is not ordinary book. It's a revelational book. It requires revelations to understand it.

The comments I have read here suggest that shorter and precise sermons are more effective.

FamilyRe: What Are The Benefits Of Marriage As A Man by Vision101(m): 3:55am On Oct 25, 2021
If you marry the right person you will enjoy marriage but if you marry the wrong person you will hate marriage.

Someone up there said that "all the benefits of marriage can be obtained outside marriage" I will say nay, nay and nay.

What deceives both gender is the available sex life outside marriage. It offers them benefits without responsibility. But benefit without responsibility is fake.

Every fake has a time lag. I'm not advocating that it's compulsory that everyone must be married. But make up your mind in time. Take the decision that suits you and carry the cross attached to it.

What does a demonized lady mean? undecided how can one recognise a demonised lady?

You are not making any sense.

@me
Spiritual things are not physically discerned. I have seen several. I have heard demons speak from the mouth of very beautiful ladies such that some of their husbands were afraid to go home with them.

Spiritual things don't make sense to the natural man. Acts 2:12
RomanceRe: I Experience Badluck Anytime I Have Sex With Her by Vision101(m): 1:21pm On Oct 23, 2021
Fornication is bad enough before God. Doing it with a demonized lady takes it to higher level.

Flee from fornication.

@ethicallyright
It is instinctive for a smart mammal to put his/her offspring first.

More Cubs die of infanticide perpetuated by big cats and other carnivores of their kind than any other reason because these animals can never raise another Cat's cub.

This means that no matter how kind a step-parent is, they can never love a step-child more than their biological child.

If step-kids are maltreated and discriminated in polygamous marriages where their mothers are still present, what do you think will happen when they live with a new wife who knows that their mother is no longer in the picture?

Smart parents try to resolve their differences for the long-term good of their kids and it is an intelligent step towards self-preservation.

But if the marriage has broken down irretrievably, the separated spouse who takes custody of the children must place the safety and comfortability of the kids first.

That means, the separated parent must make it clear to the new spouse that he/she will not tolerate abuse of her existing kids in the new relationship. The parent must act on his/her word if the kids are abused.

Disclaimer grin

As a bachelor avoid marrying a single mother who makes it clear that she values her existing children more than you because she'll love them more than your own children when she gives birth to them.

As a bachelor avoid marrying a single mother whose ex-husband or baby-father is still alive because she'll always be attracted to him because they share a child.

As a bachelor avoid marrying a single mother whose ex-husband is dead because what killed the ex-husband may kill you too.

FamilyRe: Her Family Says I Can't Marry Her Because I'm An SSCE Holder by Vision101(m): 10:52pm On Oct 20, 2021

Many educated illiterates on this thread. So, after your secondary school, you didn't know what menu is abi? Na for uni dem start to teach you English? How do seemingly educated persons look at a secondarians as illiterates? Like how? I was already very good in speaking and writing English before I entered the university. And if you've been to the university yourself, you of all people should know they don't teach English there. Even GST 101 didn't go half deep into what I learnt in secondary school. In fact, that class was so unnecessary, I barely attended. As someone who've been to the university, I can authoritatively tell you SCHOOL NA SCAM. The only reason I dey enter school na to use the degree find work. If I see something way better to generate income later, my certificate would be totally useless. I know many graduates who can't speak good English sef. Why? Their educational foundation was faulty. You only need primary school and secondary school education to be able to speak good and sweet English. If you think otherwise, you're more likely an illiterate yourself >:

@me
Oga calm down. That statement was used to show the typical behaviour of an illiterate or semi-illiterate man. In the 21st century a school cert holder is at best a semi-illiterate person. I will not allow my son/daughter to marry such no matter how rich the person is.

Those that went to school and still claim that "school na scam" are those that went to school for certificate and not knowledge. Nothing polishes and emboldens a man like sound education. Money or no money.

@pocohantas

When I talk, one redpiller will start quoting me with terrible English.

Despite the fact that our mothers married early, if you come for their 20yrs old daughters in 2021, they will pursue you! Affliction shall not rise a second time. They will tell you to allow her to graduate. Next they’ll tell you to allow her to serve. Then they will tell you to allow her to get a job. All this is to buy time!

The major exception is if you both are relatively young or they are so broke they need you to elevate. If not, they will look out for their daughter because the kind of men you would meet when you are working in KPMG is different from the ones you meet as a broke undergraduate.

If you are a man above 34, you must bring more to the table. If you want a very young educated girl from a middle class home, you must make her very comfortable. She can’t be trekking under hot sun and jumping Obalende bus with a man that conductors would mistake for her uncle/father.

@me
Poco... I agree with you totally on this. Education na scam na when you no get am. A lot of educated young ladies that married illiterate or semi-illiterate men whether rich or average know what they are missing. They don't just flow no matter the pretence.

When she is with the man in a restaurant and he shouts "I will eat menu like you" and the whole people turns to her and her husband that's when she will know the difference between abakaliki rice and foreign rice.
FamilyRe: .... by Vision101(m): 12:06am On Oct 20, 2021
Very complicated. If you get a very good lawyer many of the actions of the woman can be reversed. Sale of property where the seller has no legal right is void and/or voidable.

That a person is mentioned as NOK does not give the person the legal right over the deceased estate. Check if your dad had a will. If he had the content subsists. If he died intestate other rules apply which will grant you and all your siblings right over his properties.

For the pension, get in touch with the paying authority and they will tell you the necessary papers to file so that his one-off payment will be made to you. The same applies to his bank balances.

For the documents in her possession, if she refuses to surrender them, get a lawyer to initiate an action so that the court will compel her to surrender them.

Good luck.

I can understand the pains of a true Christian father that the son has fallen off the faith. He feels that he will be judged by the Christian community as a failure.

This is always the experience of true Christian families because of the caged life of true Christianity. Most of their children can't deal with this.

Let your father relax but always remember him in prayer after all no one comes to Christ except He draws the person to himself.

Aren't rich. In my house I know that we are not the food food type. We can chat and do other things up till 2 pm and we have not eaten. Most relations complain about this when they visit. My wife tells them to try and eat without minding us. You know say dey go dey feel somehow.

Once your system is developed to get used to food food all the time that's what your body will crave.

If I'm alone I can take my bread and coffee (God bless Maxwell coffee) for two weeks as food. If you are a heavy eater and you stay with me nobi die.
FamilyRe: What Are The Advantages Or Disadvantages Of Raising A Child As A Single Parent? by Vision101(m): 7:32am On Oct 11, 2021
My son sees men as a tough father and sees the mum as a moderate. He prefers to pass his requests to me through the mum.

He is now a graduate. The highest warning that you can give to him is to remind him that "your dad will hear this". This has helped build him in everyway. Assuming that I was not in the picture what happens?

I have softened now ooo. We are now paddy. The child needs both parents. Any girl raised by a single parent will have to work so hard to convince me to sanction my son marrying her.

Village ke, what is village? The man is just being protective of you and your children. There are some arrows that can be thrown at a matured body but can't enter but can easily enter the bodies of young ones.

He had said that you can go alone which means that he's not denying you contact with your parents and village people. If you miss any of your siblings so much invite them over.
