There are only two sides of law: criminal and civil law. There is no emotional 😭 law.

Can you now see that the problem is not a particular regime but those that find themselves close to the corridors of power.

Their brands are performing poorly in terms of sales because of cheap imports from Asia. They prefer to fold up production and concentrate on import and sell. This way pharmaceutical companies in Asia can produce under their brand and they will just import and distribute.

Over the years we have been spoilt by petrodollar. Governments at all levels don't task themselves on how to generate revenue.

It has been share the petrodollar. The citizens have gotten used to life of subsidy. Now the petrodollar has dried up. It's time to generate before spending.

The entire nation would have been insolvent if subsidy on petroleum products and dollar were not removed. Governance would have halted at all levels.

It's a choice. You can take the alternative: night bus for #20,000 one way. Producing crude doesn't give you the right that everything must be cheap.

Very true. What is the rating of the university? That course has only course work which most students contract out illegally. Let her try a course that is a flagship course in any uni eg oil and gas engineering in imperial college, university of Aberdeen or rgu that has course work and exam and she will be a dropout.

What this statistic fail to mention is that gambling has also helped reduce crime.... Though not very significantly, but at least to a reasonable extent.....
This isn't to say I encourage gambling but see it this way...
I earn 200k plus monthly at my job.... But with 4500 some weeks back, I won 719k.....that's like 3 months salary.... With such money coming in at 6 times a year.... Crime no go hungry sensible person when no get big eye.

This is the problem. You earn reasonable income but you want to get rich quick. You get into gambling. By the time you are hooked on it you will gamble with your entire income, sell your properties and borrow and sink all into gambling. You will then blame unemployment.

This is the usual excuse for everything that happens. Are they gambling for free? Almost a billion dollars per day. It's the get rich quick mentality. It has metamorphosed to addiction. A man that is truly unemployed and has no regular source of income makes a little naira and sinks it into bottomless pit and you call it unemployment.

Tell the same man to put that small amount into something that will yield little income and he will ask you if that's what he will be doing to buy car, build houses etc.

How will you sustain GDP growth when there's no infrastructure? No electricity, expensive fuel, bad roads and terrible security.

Is it not foolishness that someone will just wake up and build a structure without approval in a city? Is the person not risking his investment? And the government has to pity his foolishness?

In the city the lawyers will always say that what makes a land and building valid is the documentation behind it. An ordinary land that has full documentation has more value than a mansion built without proper documentation.

Is this pdp's brand of opposition politics? I have never seen an opposition party attacking mere budget presentation. It's the implementation that the opposition should be attacking.

Do they want the president to deceive Nigerians by proposing that the exchange rate will return to the old rate when we all know that the old rate was a subsidized rate that encouraged importation. The resources are no longer available to give out cheap dollar to fund our fake lifestyle.

What experts are asking for is exchange rate stability so that projections can be reasonably made.

My main concern is how achievable the projections can be. If PBAT can achieve the targets in 2024, it will be super performance for the first full budget of the regime.

It will mean that Nigeria is heading back to where she belongs.
