Do you know how many billions UK schools get from Nigeria?

Every where I turn, there is one agent or the other in my mail, sent by UK schools to advertise their schools in Nigeria.

I am not even talking about tourism yet.

Don't mind these ignorant boys. They think that there are awards for who insults and belittles Nigeria most. For ages the UK has always earned so much from Nigeria through education. Even when the Nigerian economy was good a lot of Nigerians go for UK education.

Most good pastors didn't set out initially to be one. Most resisted it. If you are made for it, God knows how to get you into it.

The reason why I came into RCCG was that I wanted to belong to a large church where no one will notice me. I just wanted to worship my God quietly. God had a different plan. I resisted it for a long time but the signs were there. God prepared his own route to what he wanted.

To answer your question directly everyone can't be sheep. There will always be shepherd. And as for the common insinuation by the public not everyone that is in it for material gain. A lot are top professionals using their money and time to finance God's work in churches that they are not the owners.

It sounds unbelievable to the materialistic mind.

It's really difficult to be a pastor, pastor's wife or pastor's child. So much expectations. Everybody watches you. If you do what others are doing your friends will remind you that you are pastors son.

As a pastor if you have a bad tenant you can't do what other landlords do to bad tenants. If you try it the same bad tenant will remind you that you call yourself a pastor.

If someone hits your car, you can't talk angrily on the road. Within minutes someone that knows you will emerge. I have had to spend #700k this year on my car that was totally damaged by someone that could not afford #20k.

You can't eat anywhere you want. When you attend parties you can't eat in public. Everyone brings their problems to you but you have no one to take your problem to.

It's worse for those of us that render free service. Your children only see sacrifices. They become scared to become pastors. Statistics show that majority of pastors seeds have no desire to be one.

When I carry my own too far, my wife will remind me that she didn't marry me as a pastor but as an accountant. My son will tell me that there are various routes through Jesus to heaven.

Will the world ever understand?

No biggie. I sucked my left finger up to age 8.
Your child will turn out a very calm and brilliant person. He/she will have high ability to handle figures. His reasoning will be very logical.

One day I was trying to cut coconut and the knife cut the finger. The finger was bandaged. I will unconsciously try to do my thing and I will feel the bandage. Within days nature adjusted me.

God knows I can never mind my business when I witness an injustice. It is not in me. Especially when children are involved.

That was how one foolish witch in the guise of a teacher made it a ritual of torturing her helpless pupils every single day.
We just got the number of the owner of the school and reported what she was doing to her class pupils every single day.
The owner quickly swung into action and fired her ass! What a beast!

The worst part was that the teachers witnessed everything but chose to be silent.

I have always been skeptical of all these all rich schools. The children are spoilt from home and the school authorities cannot enforce discipline for fear of the actions of the parents.

Some years back my son was offered admission to Kings college. My wife's relation who was then director primary and secondary education fme told us that it was easier to get kings college admission than to get fgc ijanaiki. My office was on idowu Taylor Street Victoria island. I will always pass through Kings college annex on adeyemo alakija. What I saw the children of the elites do when I'm going home late totally discouraged me.

I fought so hard on my own and got fgc ijanaiki. When we interacted at PTA level I discovered that I was right.

Why are my Igbo brothers always reasoning like this? The governor is referring to state civil servants. Private entities and individuals are free to go about their normal lives. Is this the same as shutting down the economy in the name of sit at home?

Why are you always in the habit of condemning anything Nigerian ? That you live abroad should not blindfold you into thinking that everything oyibo is right and everything Nigerian is wrong.

Some of us that live here have trained and worked with some of these oyibos. Like any other race some are exceptionally good in brilliance and character while some are totally trash. I have had course to shout down some of them because I believe that even in their country some of us can match them if not above them.

There are different categories of first sons:

-First sons that are firstborn.
-First sons that are only sons, but not firstborn.
-First son that is an only child.

The latter are most likely to be spoilt (not in all cases), and I'm guessing the op falls in that category.

This is no taboo. I do it wella. I do it in Uni days when sleeping on same mattress with male firends. I just dont want to us inhale each others breath, or to prevent things like sneezing, coughs which are easily transferable.
