This is bribe ooo....she will remind you of it in future. |
The only course that you receive the graduation certificate before commencement. |
Funny man. |
The issue should be documentation. If documented in the couple's names, then she just wants to make it a surprise. If documented in her name, no no. |
@Candidlady Please also tell your member to stop paying their last money as tithes And yeah as a feminist I won't marry I'd adopt a pretty girl @me The man is talking about feminism and you bring in tithe. What is you people's problem with tithe? Why should you adopt a child. Use your thing and produce a child. You want popcorn but you hate corn. |
@Kccheechy This is toxic!!! Why must they stop people from doing their legitimate businesses?? How will this senseless act hasten the release of nnamdi kanu?? I hate IPOB!!! @me Ask them. This is how they will rule Biafra. |
@madukaanaya ]good our leader cannot be in prison and people pretend as if all is well. @me Who is your leader? That guy man. You are destroying the economy of the southern East. It's only a fool that hurts himself. Senseless ipob. Mtcheeee |
@Magnoliaa Oh. Wow. Okay, thanks for this explanation, but now I'm just left with more questions! You raised some angles I appreciate. So wait. What is rape according to the law? What's it legal definition? And why is it under criminal law? For a moment here I wished some of our ancestors' laws and customs still hold sway. Back in the days when Sango or Amadioha could strike you down: if you were caught stealing and seen by every eyes and even if you weren't seen, the gods are perfect judges of human intents and all. They don't seem so demonic in this light... @me Rape is when a person intentionally penetrates another's vagina, anus or mouth with a penis without the other person's consent. The key words are: intentionally, penetration, consent, vagina, anus, mouth and penis. If a victim is forcefully penetrated with an object other than penis, this is called assault by penetration. For example if you forcefully without consent use a intimacy gadget on another's vagina, anus or mouth, this is called assault by penetration. Someone pointed out that some analyst are beginning to look at male rape as forced to penetrate. This has not been generally accepted. Why is it a crime? Whatever you commit that brings injury to another or society is a crime. The punishment is imprisonment/and damages. Rape is one of them. In civil cases eg libel, trespass, defamation etc. the victim is awarded damages or compensation. Issue: can a legal husband rape his wife? |
@Magnoliaa Are you a lawyer? Can you expatiate on this? Because I've seen something like this somewhere and it got me stumped. But it is still rape, right? Sex without consent is rape. Why is (proof of) penetration the basis? @me I'm an accountant but I have good background in law. This area of law is criminal law. One challenge in law is that even if the culprit is cut red-handed the judge can't assist you. You have to prove your allegation. Most cases of rape are abandoned because the victims feel very ashamed to prove the issue of penetration. Consequently fiddling with the private parts of a female adult with your fingers and/or sucking her breasts against her will will be difficult to prove as rape. The judge realises that all manner of allegations can be made. Legally there can't be sex without penetration. Penetration proven either medically or otherwise is easiest way. This is why rape against children or virgins are easier to prove because medical examination will establish this. In terms of rape against a man, it's very difficult to prove because of this issue of penetration. How can you prove penetration by an adult female against an adult male? Who is penetrating who? Concerning a male child and an adult female they may look at the issue of abuse. There could be other arguments though. |
@kponkedenge I must commend the SW leaders for standing behind their own.... Unlike useless SE leaders that won't even hesitate to sabotage NK if given the opportunity. Upon all the innocent SEners that were arrested and wrongfully tagged as ESN or unknown gun men, our so called SE leaders no even talk or show concern.... A lot of innocent lives in the East have been lost and still no comment from them. Kudos to the SW leaders jare. @me The sw have a culture of respect. Throughout the activities of igboho he didn't insult his elders. When he did he quickly retraced his footsteps. Your kanu for selfish reasons kept insulting Igbo elders and elites. He incited his miscreants against them. Anyone that disagreed with him was a marked person. Every advice given to him was rejected. He was busy inviting enemies to his house to come and fight. He will declare no movement and disrupt people's lives. He did all that on purpose so that the elites will not come close and expose the deceit. Unlike igboho, he has no single investment in Igbo land. He has not given anyone any employment. Is this the man that will rule Biafra. Mtcheeee |
Chi-something |
Legally no. To prove rape, you must prove penetration. |
@chatinent I saw this on one status on my WhatsApp. I giggled. This is the height of phariseeship. The hunger to defraud unsuspecting persons using the name of God has become dominant. Nowadays, you can see fifteen different churches in one storey building shouting differently. Little wonders one church sacked her pastors for not generating taxes..sorry, I mean tithes. We are so religious in this country yet very vile, and underdeveloped. Everyday, we yell “god forbids” even to things he never forbade..to prove our being overly righteous.. We command “back to sender” when we are also evil. Or we come here on Nairaland to see “amens” to our promotional scripture quotes for mere likes and shares.... or seek congregants to “pray for” so that our bank account can smile...even when we know Jesus taught us to pray already. We tell our congregants that givers never lack..when we are the receivers but when they need help, they can go to God. We tell them to bring their first fruits of their harvest. Yes, we fry the chicken with the kitchen glories, and send part of the tithes to our children in school while the widower drinks his garri in tom-foolery waiting for the appointed time. We have left the main course Jesus came on earth and digressed to the latest trends to extorting tithes and offerings from our members by throwing crusades every now and then. What's now the difference between the church and hip-pop artistes? We are pastors. We called ourselves. We are humans too. We have to eat! @me What's this. The poster wanted us to talk about the relevance or otherwise of the caption of the program and you came here spewing your hatred for the church. You is forcing you to be a Christian? If the churches and their leaders are bad set up one and show them the proper way. Mtcheeee |
Run away from fornication.... you guys will not listen. See the evil of sin. |
Side-chic.....side poison. Sons of Adam beware. |
Who virgin help? |
@Amopeekun What's wrong with being a partner?! @me Do you mean partner in somethings or all things? |
@CharisEleos I will sha lock everywhere. Final. @me Hahahaha.... you have not won. If you lock everywhere I will report you to my very understanding father and mother in-laws. Final match. Score: 1 - 3 in my favour. |
@CharisEleos Me too, I'll lock everywhere. @me Hahahaha... Lock "everywhere?" I hope it's not what I'm thinking. If it's your soup and food, no problems. With my locked pocket I can buy a decent Iya fusi. When your soup finishes you will look for my pocket. Score = 1 - 2 |
@CharisEleos Well, that's because I'm the one cooking and it's different from going to the pot after cooking and setting the pot down. It's not a good habit. The soup can get soured like that. That is why some women lock their soup inside the cabinet. Lol.. @me Hahahaha....if you lock the soup in the cabinet, I'll will lock my pocket. 1 - 1 |
@CharisEleos What will I do to an adult? I'll simply let him know he has taken his own portion. So when I'm serving his next meal, no meat. I know someone who deos it and still expects to be served food with meat.[/quote]@me The ones you used to take for tasting when you are cooking and warming soup nko? |
@Fiscus105 If not that her life is completely on the ground already, 18 years old toddler hooking up with 28 years old madam, even if one wants to eat meat.........must she kneels down for cow? Anyway may her soul rest ............ @me Money for hand back for ground. Ashawo no dey consider age. Once you have "the boy is good" they are good to go. |
Any man of honour will always own up if he makes mistakes. That's what Pastor bakare is doing. We saw massive corruption under GEJ and weakness in handling it and insurgency. A lot of us believed that with the buhari we knew during his military regime that he is the right man to deal with the situation. I must confess that the man is empty and he and his cabal will not allow knowledgeable people to help out. The worst is his tribalistic and sectional tendencies. I don't think that the man is thinking of history. |
Welcome to the life of a clergy. Full of temptations. This situation will forever hurt you even if go back and get qualified. People will use it against you. You and the girl were not qualified to be in such school. We have always said that many are pastors but few are called. It's a life of self-denial and sacrifice. Forget about marrying the lady for now because you can't claim that you are led. If you do, divorce is an option. Visit the family with some elders. Promise to take responsibility for the care of the baby as much as you can. Plan to go back and finish your program and the skill training course. Make a vow to the Almighty that you will not defile yourself again. Hopefully you have learnt the lesson of how not to be a pastor. Good luck. |
Op you and your fiancée are deceiving yourselves. You are already committing fornication. You agreed no sex before marriage but you kiss and romance. You have violated your vow. |
@billyG If your branch is not making money, mega churches that operate like corporations makes big money gather d money all over d world wide branches is big money where do they get money to build Universities, structures,tv station & private jets?a church of 500,000 members if each 30% of them contribute a month inform of tithes, offering, seed offering, pastors offering, first fruits that is big money. @me Because of your way of thinking I will reveal my identity. By the grace of God I'm a senior pastor in charge of RCCG provincial headquarters parish. This is biggest in any province. I have attendance of both junior and main church of about 1000. About 28 altar ministers and workers of about 125. I'm teaching you the nitty gritty of how a church finance operate and you are here doing armchair calculation. I'm not saying that large attendance is not good but it's not proportional to the income of the church. Do you know that I have covenant partners that sponsor projects but they are not members of the church. A church could be smaller in attendance but richer than bigger churches. Sometimes they support some locations that have attendance but low income eg up north, rural churches and foreign mission fields. There are a whole lot of things involved in church administration that you guys don't know. You just think and calculate money money and money. Like I said before I have a secular profession and I'm a pastor. I can tell you that the life of a true pastor is scary. Particularly if you have a definite call. |
Why not contact some law firms in the city |
I don't know oooooo |
@billyG Most members pays tithes & contributions either by persuasion, cajoling, threat or fear of consequences. Infact d most of d poor gives all their mites because of promise of thousand fold rewards. @me Who told you all these. This is what most of you that are not into church administration assume. I am talking based on empirical evidence. The size of the congregation may not have a bearing on the amount of income of the church. Some people drop empty envelopes. Some fill it with lowest denominations. Any pastor that didn't think outside the box will have his church struggle financially. So many assumption fly about concerning the church and money. I will not reveal my true identity, church and position. I know what I'm talking about. Before you begin to say what you guys usually say, I have to state that I have a solid profession and I take no income from the church. I work for God with his gift upon my life and support with my finance. |
